Picked up the Dunwall City Trials DLC to scratch that Dishonored itch until the sequel comes out. Basically, it's a bunch of scoring challenges involving pretty much anything from the main game (Combat, stealth, mobility, that stuff), and it even ties in with the story slightly in that the challenges are implied to be nightmares that Corvo is experiencing. It's actually pretty fun, and once in a while even spooky.
Unless you're going for the achievements.
Fuck these achievements. Just... fuck'em.

So I've been reading the comic series, The Wrymwood Deception, and that's pretty good. It ends this month at some point and with only one issue left I'm pretty sure it won't have a huge impact on anything, but it's the first bit of anything Dishonored related that establishes Corvo as a character outside of a typical silent protagonist with his only characterization being implied, and it maybe hints at a character who could potentially show up in Dishonored 2? I don't know, but regardless, it's pretty good.
I've also been reading the The Corroded Man novel. Which.... I mean, the story seems interesting, so that's cool, but the writing isn't... you know, the best. He repeats a lot of stuff within the space of a few paragraphs, there isn't a very distinctive voice to the writing... I don't know, it's not great. But it's decent, and the author seems to at least understand the world of Dishonored, so that's cool.
I found out about the Dishonored 2 Funko Pops and I want all of them.
Also, one of my new friends at my college is also a huge fan of Dishonored so I've been talking to her a lot of just.... being hyped for Dishonored 2, mostly.

I'm loving Dishonored 2 so far. It feels like an improvement on the first in every way. I'm currently playing a low-chaos - Corvo playthrough.

Yep, I've played around 6 hours and other than the start which didn't make a whole lot of sense it's been great, especially the map design holy shit it's so good. Also doing the same playthrough as you, and haven't killed anyone yet. Cant wait to test out Emily's powers and rip shit up with whatever the fuck that shadow demon mode she has is.

Just finished my first playthrough at like 28 hours or something. Don't feel like typing all my thoughts, but basically: I loved it. If Banner Saga 2 hadn't come out this year, Dishonored 2 would definitely be my Game of the Year. Really looking forward to either Dishonored 3 or the dlc for Dishonored 2 with Billie Lurk. Weirdly one of my main thoughts is if we'll get to use the transversal power and how it will work. I mean, there's no way we're NOT getting either a new game or dlc with Billie Lurk, right?
