Hey, so I randomly found out that Callista is voiced by Lena Heady, who plays Cersei on Game of Thrones.

Woah, Dishonored actually has a lot of well-known actors and voice actors.
Like, the guy who plays roger on Mad Men was Admiral Havelock and I had no idea.

I found some more info on the 2nd game, firstly, Corvo will be voiced, and secondly, this is what Corvo looks like in it: He looks like Joel... Also, where'd you find this? The picture was from an IGN article, the voiced Corvo was from a Steam thread, I couldn't find the original one I saw but I found another one with even more info on it steamcommunity.com/app/205100/discussions/0/594820656464347258/

If any other characters fomr the first game returned, I'd want it to be Samuel and Callista.

It's now been confirmed that it's out November 11th and Corvo is being voiced by Steven Russell, who's the voice of Garett in the Thief games, which is only fitting. Also gameplay is gonna be at E3.
There's been no gameplay and I'm already hyped as hell, I really need to limit my expectations since it could be shite, but dammit I love me some Dishonored.

Stephen Russel was also Nick Valentine in Fallout 4, but he will always be Garett the thief. About time they gave Corvo a voice, it was weird as hell to have character with a large backstory have no voice. Oh well, better late then never.

The Dishonoured 2 limited edition has a life sized replica of Corvo's mask. I need it.

Can't wait for Dishonored 2. Gonna pick up the DLCs for Dishonored 1 during the Steam Sale and finally knock those back.

Replaying Dishonored in preparation for this

So after finishing the DLCs, I think I like Daud more than Corvo now. Pretty great character, with Michael Madsen's awesome voice giving him more life than Corvo ever had. That'll probably change in 2 now that Corvo is voiced, but for now, you know, Daud is my main man. I went low chaos.

So I read the Dishonored comic that started last week and it's pretty good. Also, I guess there's a book coming out next month called "The Corroded Man"

Just started, came out the first week of this month. Published by Titan comics. I think it's just called Dishonored. It takes place three years before Dishonored 2, and so far seems like it's dealing with Corvo trying to find an apprentice to be Lord Protector after him.

Now Dishonored 2 is about a month away, and I thought it'd be relevant to post this article here for anyone interested in the game. TL;DR is that they've tweaked the Chaos system and the endings. Like, if you kill someone who's an asshole, that still raises Chaos but not as much as someone who's a good person, meaning that going violent isn't as big of a punishment anymore. And instead of two endings, one good and one bad, there are multiple ending factors each with its own version for Low and High Chaos. The game is also longer than the first, with an estimated average length of 16 hours. In other Dishonored news, I completed my first pacifist run a few days ago. Didn't kill anyone and was never seen by any guards. Fun fact: Dialogue in the game actually changes based on weather or not people see you. If you aren't spotted then pretty much nobody knows it's Corvo that's taking people out all over the city, and even Daud's assassins think that finding the mask on you might be a frame up when you meet them at first. Minor detail, but I thought it was pretty neat.
