I've been following this game since it was announced back in summer 2013. For those who don't know, Mighty No. 9 is from the creators of the original Megaman series, hoping to create a spiritual successor to the Capcom classic. As soon as I heard of this game I backed in on Kickstarter, and boy does it look promising. The game releases on September 15 for anyone that's interested. Here's a trailer for the game, plus videos detailing the several voice actors involved.

First Yooka-Laylee,then Bloodstained, now this.
are all the game developers from old deciding to middle-finger the big companies and kickstart spiritual successors to their original projects nowadays?

Actually this was announced two years before Yooka-Laylee. Also, the company makign this just announced another game called Red Ash, which is supposed to be a spiritual Megaman Legends 3.

But still, lately the Game industry is like "Screw you big Money-Machines, you ruin our franchises, say we don't want them! Look at our Kickstarter Backers, Look at them!" Not complaining, this is brilliant
