Okay then, we finally found out what the words of House Whitehill is. It's Ever Higher. Shit I forgot about this. I saw it back on Jayko's blog yesterday when he and some of his friends actually predicted that to be the words.

Since it's unused (like Tom's boss) that doesn't confirm it, although it makes sense. True, but unless its stated otherwise in season 2, its safe to assume. Nothing else contradicts the info, and it makes sense.

Yep, plenty of stuff in the files that was never said in the game. Very strange.

Well, shit, man. You're Tom. It's as easy as you just telling us who your boss is/was.

If I recall correctly I meantioned eons ago that I purchased Game Of Thrones in a Steam Summer Sale eons ago. Aside from the first episode and a few random characters death I went in mostly unspoiled. So far I've only played the first three episodes, so I'll be updating this connebts as I play more (which may take a few weeks, since I'm close to the last exam of my University Graduate: Having already watched a playthrough of the first episode I had a pretty good grasp on what to expect, even then I couldn't help but to feel that my choices where... Inconsistent, not just through the whole playthrough but also for most of the characters. I only watched some of the first scenes on this one so I was mostly blind. A little more "proud" of my choices (maybe a placebo effect because the my choices were popular) on this one but I may still replay it in the future. This episode was completelly uncharted territory for me (the spoilers I know are some character deaths latter down the line and that there's an insane ammount of endings to the game even if many times the variations between them are small). I had to play this chapeter on two sittings and I feel like I was even more inconsistent than I was in Episode 1. I have the impression that I'm spiraling towards the bleakest possible outcome even knowing full well that in TT Games your choices don't matter all that much. Maybe it's because I'm used to play most of those games after watching playthroughs of them (thank god I decided not to watch the last episode of Tales From the Borderlands before playing it...)

Well I finally got around to play Episode 4. Jolly good show if you ask me. Well, maybe is because I took a break or something but I generally felt a lot more confident on this particular episode than I did in the second and third. I'm not sure if there was a way to sway the initial conversation with Danny I may had chosen poorly in that regard. I may had put too much trust on Cotter and I'm still rather confused as to why the Wildlings attack him, sure, he was wearing Night's Watch clothing sans coat, but if Sylvy was hanging with them I would had thought they would had at least recognize him though perhaps I interpret the scene wrong. I'm surprissed there was so little people that bringed the Glenmore's to Highpoint, don't get me wrong, I knew leaving no garrison would fuck me over, at this point I'm pretty certain the traitor is the Maester and not Duncan (the way Duncan is written at least in my playthrough would seem a little too predictable plus, if I had taken him to Highpoint I'm pretty sure there would be a similar outcome given who drop by for a quick visit). I'm not sure why I decided to restrain on Gryff's punishment, maybe because it would had been kicking him when he was down, then again he had not showed such courtesies. I did get pissed off by the fact that in spite of maneuvering my way through the Meeren offensive in the best way I could think off (even denying Beshka from a well reserved revenge), the preview still paints me as if I had screwed up... What's up with that? And as for King's Landing, I'll just say that I don't feel like the one playing, but the one being played, so to speak

I agree. So worst episode was the first one in your eyes? Yep. Here's how I'd rather them + short reviews: Iron From Ice - 7/10 - Choppy dialogue, characters don't have much personality, mechanics get in the way of storytelling, TV Show cameos actively detract from the story. Despite that, it's still pretty enjoyable and has a killer(haha) ending. The Lost Lords - 10/10 - Still a bit slow, but Rodrik's focus is a major highlight, and Talia's song at the end of the episode is an emotional peak for the series. Realistically more like an 8.5/10, but I get a lot of mileage out of Rodrik's overall arc and Talia's song. The Sword in the Darkness - 9/10 - Mira's sections are terrible and choices are overall way to rail-roaded for it to be any fun on a replay. Still, it has some really great individual moments that almost bring it to a 10 for me. Sons of Winter - 10/10 - Probably the strongest episode, definitely the most well-paced. Everyone's chapters are awesome, especially Mira and Rodrik's, and there are some great choices and super tense moments. A Nest of Vipers - 8/10 - Mira's scenes are once again terrible, with the Tyrion one being especially egregious, and the resolution to the traitor storyline is a huge black mark against the season as a whole. Despite that, the ending is another emotional peak, and Rodrik and Asher's chapters are actually pretty great, especially Asher's. The Ice Dragon - 9/10 - Gared's bits are kinda slow, and there's too much space between Rodrik's chapters, which are the best. Despite this, The Ice Dragon is still an awesome finale.

I think if they put enough effort in, they could keep those paths going. Tom and Mira is maybe a bigger concern, as that would be a more substantial branch, but I more or less trust them with that if TWDS4 and TWAUS2 are good. I mean, I'm looking forward to it no matter what, Telltale has proven they can be good again, so I hope Season Two is good.
