In what way is this related to upcoming DLC? Since Telltale acknowledged both GoT and TWD, this could either tie into the supposed DLC, or maybe confirming White Walkers will be in GoT Ep. 5. |

Seems like they are just saying that Hardhome was badass! Which is sure as hell was, but I feel they confirmed White Walkers long ago with that picture for episode 4, and then when it didn't show up, the teaser gave it away. They are coming, we all know it. |

I have Season 2 on TTG Store and would prefer buying the DLC on Steam for convenience's sake.
a) Will save files work?
b) Would the game detect that the DLC is installed?
c) Would it just be a safer bet to just get the TTG store version?

I think save files are shared across the same device, so as long as you are playing on the same computer and accessing save files from the same directory, you should be fine. I did the same thing with Season 1 where I switched between Steam and Telltale versions and my save files were fully intact. |

Saves are stored in Documents/telltale games no matter where you get the game from, so I don't think there's any reason they wouldn't work. Like how sometimes people give other people their TWD save files over the internet.

But as far as I know you can put the game on steam wihtout downloading from steam... Tough I think it would be able to update through steam so maybe it won't work anyways...

You can't buy the DLC on steam without the main game on steam. Ah, that makes sense. Guess I'll go with the TTG Store version, then, unless the Steam version of the main game is on offer at some point. |
