imgur.com/a/zj2UgSome new blood and wine screenshots, apparently it will introduce a new area, as big as Skellige Isles combined. Real hyped for it, Hearts of stone was the best Dlc I've ever played.

From the reviews I've read about Blood and Wine apparently it's big enough and good enough that it could be released as it's own game and nobody would mind. The hype is real.

Thirty hour of content, new big world, upgraded menu and leveling system, running your own vineyard, shitload of side quests, updated graphics, it's witcher 3.5.
Also over 90 on metacritic so far.

All the graphic and ui improvements are also great, and Touissant looks amazing.

I love the music so much. And just... riding along in the countryside. It's so intoxicating.

So, shoutout to @pikablue and wakemeup for getting me Witcher 3. Just finished up the prologue and I've been having a blast. Considering how much I couldn't stand Witcher 2, the fact that three is so great is really blowing my mind.

Just discovered a mod that makes all women in the game completely naked.
I'll be back in a month.

I've been contemplating buying 3 for a couple weeks now. I'm guessing the answer is no, but I'll ask anyways... will I have to play 1 and 2 to understand 3?

I've been contemplating buying 3 for a couple weeks now. I'm guessing the answer is no, but I'll ask anyways... will I have to play 1 and 2 to understand 3? Well, I'd recommend looking up the plot and what-not, but honestly, 3 ties into the books a lot, so I'd imagine it's just as confusing to people who played 1 and 2. But it explains most of the stuff, and if anything is particularly confusing, there's a very in-depth glossary of characters and events that if you care, is worth looking at for some background information, or to clarify certain confusing things. I mean, I'd definitely say that you should look up the choices that will be asked in the beginning of Witcher 3 that relate to Witcher 2 to see what those choices mean, otherwise you're going in completely blind and you'll end up choosing random things about Witcher 2, which means you might choose some things that will prevent you from getting to meet some pretty cool characters.

Like... short answer, no, but some things will be a little confusing so maybe just look up a plot summary or something in advance.
