Question? Is anybody looking forward to the new Mad Max game coming out on September 1? Sure we all want MGSV, but it does look good, and is made by Avalanche the people behind Just Cause .

Recently decided to go back and play State of Decay for old time's sake. I'm loving the game but it's totally kicking my ass right now. I decided to hole up at the farmhouse in the middle of the map and surprisingly, an Enclave of survivors had taken up shelter in the barn about 20 feet away from us. Unfortunately they were swarmed and overrun before they could join us. I think some of them survived but fucked off to a farm farther away, which sucks. Then another group of people took shelter in that same barn and still refuse to join me in the barricaded house that is, again, 20 feet away from them. In even worse news I lost my two best survivors. Maya, the soldier chick, got torn in half by a Feral while scouting the farm before we set up shop there. Then Marcus fell victim to the same fate later on helping an enclave of survivors defend themselves, which depressingly enough took place mere minutes after he had to put down another group member after they became infected. So out of the initial survivors from the beginning of the game only Ed, of all the fucking people, is alive. And he's seriously messed up after a run in with a horde. Fuck me. I've been playing a game of Breakdown of TWO YEARS. I'm on Level 8 of 10 where Ferals pop up every two seconds. The only people in my group are Ed, Maya, Jacob, and Heisenberg (No shit, there is a survivor named Heisenberg.

Randomly put in The Last Of Us Remastered today, just because.
Holy shit, that game still looks better than 95% of the stuff that will be released this year, and it's 2 years old.

Hardly fair, I could just say play Bioshock Infinite, or hell, replaying Half Life 2, doesn't exactly mean much.

I believe he's saying it's not fair to say that one of the best games ever is better than 95% of the stuff out today. Regardless of the year or how long ago it was released, of course it's better than the majority of games out since then because it's one of the greatest of all-time. He then related it to saying that Bioshock Infinite or Half-Life 2 is better than 95% of stuff out today, in the belief that they too held the prestige of being among the greatest games of all-time.
I could be wrong, though.
(I also agree with what you said, originally. Take all the awards and even the story away from Last of Us and still the gameplay, the inventory/crafting system and the FPS improvement that came with Remastered makes it better than, I'd argue, anything that's been released since.)

I think that Bioshock Infinite is really just above average, to be honest.

Ding ding! Totally correct.

So I got this "Interactive Mystery Thriller Novel"(so it calls itself) for the DS called Hotel Dusk: Room 215 at a garage sale for 50 cents and it's been pretty good. It's honestly more of a game than a lot of interactive stories, with a lot more exploration(sort of like Until Dawn) and some puzzles. The novel thing is a little irritating because it makes you hold the DS like a book which is uncomfortable. But aside from that and the weird way you move around(on the top/left screen you get a first person perspective, and then on the bottom/right screen you have a map and move on the map), it is pretty good.

I think I heard of this. The company made the game called " again" for the DS I believe.

Well I have not been present that much because I have been playing the Avalanche Mad Max game. Quite fun actually, can be a bit repetitive at times, but it is really great I must admit.
