How hard were the Easter Eggs for Eisendrache and Shima? Just wondering. Well here's the thing. Der Eisenrache is VERY easy to do solo if you're well prepared. The biggest advantage to doing it solo over co-op is that you only have to get one of the upgraded bows to start it rather than all four, plus the boss fight is much easier since Panzers don't spawn in the final part. Still though, it is almost essential that before going into the battle, you need to get the Panzer helmet so you take 50% less damage from them, and get an upgraded Haymaker with the Head Drama Gobblegum (Makes all shots that hit a zombie do as much damage as a headshot) so the Panzers die almost instantly. I tried it about 3 times before I got it done properly, and I'd always die on the boss battle since I couldn't kill the Panzers. The last time I did it and finished it I actually died on the last step, but I had Quick Revive so I had to do the entire boss fight without any perks and let me tell you, IT WAS NERVE-RACKING. As for Zetsubou No Shima, the boss fight is MUCH easier, but the steps to getting to it are SO tedious, specifically regarding the plants. What really annoyed me was that for one step, you have to fill a plant with all blue water for three rounds straight and shoot it with the KT-4 every time so that it gives you an artillery shell to shoot down a plane and get a gear for an elevator to the boss fight with Original Takeo. However, you only have a 75% chance of getting the gear, otherwise it's a random powerup, so I got so unlucky I had to go through 12 ROUNDS just to get one shell. Along with that, in order to get another gear, you need to complete all your challenges (or in co-op, everyone needs to do their challenges so it's easier solo), and I got so unlucky that one of my challenges was to grow a fruit plant (so blue water one round, green water the next, then purple the last round), but once again, you only have a 75% chance to get it, so I had to go through 12 rounds (4 plants) to get it finally. The boss fight though is extremley easy, the area is so wide open that you can train all the Thrashers behind you, then kill them with one charged shot from the upgraded KT-4 so you can attack Takeo (Kind of like how you need to kill the Panzers in Der Eisendrache to attack the Keeper). Gorod Krovi though is SO FRUSTRATING because three of the trials involve going around the map to find an object to guide back to the power room without accidentally killing it, which is impossible because zombies infinitley spawn when doing it. Because of that if you're playing solo, you should have the "The Walking Undead" Gobblegum (Makes zombies walk for 5 minutes), and the "Crawl Space" Gobblegum (All zombies around you become crawlers), or if you're playing co-op, have the "Now You See Me" Gobblegum (All zombies will attack you) so you're partners can escort the object. From what I've seen of the boss battle though it seems like it'll be as easy as Zetsubou No Shima's boss fight, maybe easier since the arena is twice the size of ZNS's arena, but I've never gotten to it yet so I'd have to wait and see. Shadows of Evil is actually really easy to do to, it's just difficult trying to get three other competent people to do it with. I've got two friends that could help me with it, so you could join and round out the group if you wanted. I just wanna get it done since it's confirmed the only way to do the Revelations Easter Egg is to have done all the previous easter eggs in the game. Plus when you beat it you get like 1,000,000 XP towards your zombies rank, plus two awesome looking calling cards. Sooo....now that THAT mouthful of an explanation is out of the way, what are your thoughts on BO3's zombies storyline so far? BTW, Treyarch just revealed that they had the plot for BO3's story ever since Origins came out, so it's not like they were retconning Origins' ending, they were actually teasing the future of the story with that ending. I for one really enjoy the fact that these maps stories are A LOT easier to follow then BO1 and BO2's stories, with those ending cutscenes that play at the end of each being actually really cool to watch and see how the next map is gonna go. Can't wait to see how it all ends with Revelations. You know I probably could join that match, sure why not? I like where it's going, you know, infinite dimensions and all not unlike another game I really like. I do respect them for referencing really obscure characters throughout the series. I mean really, wasn't Sophie mentioned like twice throughout just WAW and BO? Or Girsh from Asenchion? Or the wink wink Peter cameo at the start of Gorod Krovi? Or Groph playing a big role in Eisendrache. I like that, oh and Malcolm McDowell is now in the series. And he sounds like he is having a blast.

I'll let you know next time I get them together to see if we can do it. And yeah I REALLY like how Treyarch is bringing the series full circle with BO3's story and referencing all these little things from WaW and BO1's stories. All I hope is that in Revelations we get as many loose ends tied as possible, for me that would be what happened to all the other zombies cast apart from the original group (Five, Call of the Dead, BO2, and Shadows of Evil). Also, Treyarch also just announced that they're teaming up with Dark Horse Comics (Creators of all of the Valve comics such as Left 4 Dead: The Sacrifice and Portal 2: Lab Rat) to make a prequel comic to BO3's zombies. Issue 1 comes out in a couple weeks I believe, and is planned to be a six issue mini-series explaining what Origins Richtofen did in between the events of Origins and The Giant. Here's the official description for issue 1: On his quest to secure an ancient artifact known as The Kronorium, Doctor Edward Richtofen enlists the help of The Tranzit Crew, a rag tag group of survivors last seen in the Black Ops II Zombies installment Buried. On a deeply unstable and fractured future Earth, Stuhlinger, Misty, Russman, and Marlton battle for survival against the undead horde and Doctor Maxis, as they slowly uncover the truth behind Richtofen’s mysterious reappearance. The Call of Duty: Zombies miniseries follows these characters’ perilous journey of discovery, filling in crucial pieces of the larger Zombies story. So this is interesting meaning that the Maxis ending of the Buried easter egg is the canon ending, which is good since that was the one I did. I somewhat enjoyed the Tranzit crew, not as much as the main cast, but still liked them nonetheless, so I'm glad to see that they weren't just dumped after the events of Buried. Also, this isn't related to zombies, but I've seen you online so many times and I honestly have NO IDEA what your emblem is. Is it some sort of military ranking or something? Just asking out of curiosity.

Funnily enough I remember roughly five years ago when BO came out, just telling my classmates that I always wanted a map with mechs and Russian zombies, somewhere near Stalingrad. Well, guess Treyarch was listening to the chats of a group of 13 year olds, makes sense. Yeah I went with the Maxis ending as well, its just fun to torture Rictofen, it really is. Good to know, might actually buy that series. Oh yeah the emblem, yeah this is obscure as fuck even for me. Its a family sigil, from Beauty and the Beast of all things. If you pause at the very start when it cuts to the stain glass, you can make out a shield with that symbol on it. Yeah, I went that obscure, I'm compulsive sometimes I admit.

God I remember in BO1 it was my school's logo, in BO2 and AW it was Sonic, and in BO3 I have two emblems. I had Sonic until like Decemeber, but now I use one based off Smokescreen for Transformers Prime. BTW, do you use the Paintshop at all? I use it on guns to kind of imagine like what guns various Sonic and Transformers characters would use and customize that gun based off that character.

Oh and this is slightly annoying, apparently you can see Revelations as an option if you go to choose map, but the DLC doesn't come out until the sixth. Its just teasing you.

Probably just to remind people that it's coming out soon, they did the same thing on PS4 a couple of days before it came out. So it comes out tomorrow probably around 5AM since that's when Xbox updates its store. I'm just gonna say this right now, as SOON as you listen to the easter egg song on the map, go back to this thread and watch the music video I posted a page ago. To help you out the objects you're looking for are teddy bears, but I'm not gonna say where in case you wanna find themore yourself. God I remember that I would be the first one out of all my friends to find the music easter egg when the map came out since Ascension, and they would always think I looked up how to do it each time.

Really love all the little bits of nostalgia Treyarch put into the map.

Its a very good running map, but you can easily camp at the those flinger things. The little bits of nostalgia are HIGHLY appreciated, like when entering Shangri La it plays the loading music for that map from Black Ops. Or depending on what map the round ends, it will play a unique theme for Revelations, the theme for Eisendrache, the music for Origins and Mob of the Dead, or hell, the Hells Gate snippet that was in every map until Mob of the Dead if you end it in Nacht Der Untoten. Also like you wanted, the radio messages reveals the fate of previous characters, even Veruct. Speaking of which, the ghosts are still there, and I like it! And seeing classic Wonder Weapons come back throughout the series is just fucking awesome. Song's good, not Dead Again but good. The only thing its missing is an Avenged Seven Fold song. Oh, and it has hats, including Albert Arlington's hat, that's sweet! Oh, and I cheated and looked up the ending and... It's good. Its an honest to fucking god ending for the entire series, and it ends on a happy note. Not a cliffhanger, or a ball busting it was all a dream BS which thankfully I think wasn't meant to come off like that. It feels right, I honestly can't say enough good things about it.

I've found three radios in Shangri La that say how Sarah Michelle Gellar is stuck there in a time loop while the other 3 are unknown, and one in Der Eisendrache of Robert Macnamara being the only surviving member of the Five crew. And god The Gift is now probably tied with Dead Again for my favorite song ever. I thought it was gonna be similar to Archangel with Malukah and Clark S. Nova, but I'm glad it wasn't. As for the ending, I looked it up too and... While I'm fine with it, it doesn't really mark "The End" of Zombies to me. All it does is just show that the Origins crew is stuck in an infinite cycle so the entire zombies story goes on infinitely. I'm curious as to what your thoughts on there possibly being a "super easter egg" where we break the cycle and possibly defeat Monty. I mean, why else would the game track whether or not we've done all the easter eggs only to get Takeo's Kitana?

I know right? I like Archangel, come on! Oh and talk about obscure as fuck! The radio about Sophie's fate references Subject 2-6 biting her. Christ that was an off hand zombie mentioned in just two film reels in Kino Der Toten. I doubt most people will have any memory of that, so props there. I'm not sure that's a loop, it's just a paradox isn't it? Oh well, also didn't it mention somewhere that the ancient hero's vanished after defeating those demons? I like to imagine that translates to returning to there originaltimeline and living life without zombies? Is that to much of a jump in logic? I mean, this series more or less coined the phrase head canon to me anyway. At the end of the day, I loved the map, it sure felt like a fitting end. Again going back to middle school when I was younger, I always wanted the last map to just tie together all the loose ends of the series, feature the original cast, bring back classic weapons and maps, and have a boss fight or something. And you know what? It did just that, so I consider this map a dream come true, it just took six years of dreaming.
