I've read some more stuff:
More Bat stuff like Nightwing and Talon.
Scalped, which my economics teachers recommended to me.... It's.... Eh, I mean, it's just not my thing I don't think. I don't think I'll get the second book. Really, it feels like it tries just a little too hard to be dark and gritty, and I really can't say I like any of the characters.
More Invincible.... So I'm now caught up with the exception of #127(I think I'll wait for #128 this month before I pick it up).... @rhseemscool are you there yet? I'm curious to know what you thought about how #126 ended if you are.
The Wake. I'm not quite finished with it yet, but unless it just ruins everything in the last chapter and half, that book is seriously fucking awesome. I'm not sure if I've mentioned Severed, but that's good, too. Scott Snyder is such a good writer. Personally, I still hold Wytches up pretty highly because of the personal impact it had on me, but of his horror comics(not counting American Vampire), I'd definitely say that The Wake is the best.... though, only the first half is really a horror comic.
And I've got the second Preacher Book (Vol. 3-4). Haven't read it yet, but.... I don't know, I really don't know what I thought of the first Book, so I guess I'll see what I think after this one.

I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about with that ending. Just to clarify: You're talking about how Mark's daughter is like 8-12 or something, right?
If that is what you're talking about, I kinda saw it coming. I didn't anticipate the length of time he'd been gone, but I knew that there was no way they'd just put him right back where he'd left off.
Now I'm just waiting for the next issue.

The next one is actually out, the one after that. I stupidly did not see it coming and I actually thought that Vol. 23 was out and yeah, it is definitely not.
The one thing that kind of confused me is that Eve doesn't look like she's aged at all, and I mean, I'm pretty sure that if it's been, yeah, somewhere between 8-12 years, then she'd look at least a little bit different. I mean, it could just be something they pushed aside so that the reveal that Mark's been gone for so long could have been with revealing Terra, but I don't think so. In which case.... yeah, I don't know exactly what's going on. I mean, I guess they needed something to jump start to plot again since the whole plot with Robot controlling Earth isn't moving super-fast, and the plot with Thragg's child army was just kind of steadily moving along, too.
(though if I'm being honest, Vol. 21, which I think was #115-120, and was basically just Mark and Eve settling into their apartment in Talescria, I was just as engaged with that I was was with more of the action driven storylines. But yeah, I guess Kirkman couldn't just keep things relatively peaceful and had to do something to fuck everything up for Mark).

I honestly can't get into most Batman comics at all these days.
I'm a huge fan of the TAS continuity, so I have no interest in most of the modern storylines. And it's a shame that most of the comics/films these days seem to be about Bruce's family, especially that little asshole Damian.

It eventually lead into the canon of Batman Beyond.

Been reading a lot of stuff: I'll go through all of it.
I read The Wake, by Scott Snyder... Really interesting. The first half was more or less just a horror story in line with something like Deep Blue Sea. Then the second half was like... this post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller. I loved it, but honestly, it wad maybe cut a little short... Then again, not everything needs to be a series, maybe the whole thing being one book worked best.
Started reading Peter Panzerfaust. Basically it's just Peter Pan but in WWII. Peter is an American boy who saves a group of French orphans as the Germans invade Franch. They join the Resistance, and each book is set up so that a different member of the group is narrating the story as a man in the present day meets with them and learns their stories. I really love it, three books in.
Finsihed Talon.... eh, the second book just really dragged, and it tied into Batman, Incrporated, a concept which I'm not a fan of. I did like the philosophical differences between Bane and Calvin though. They're both people who were born into prisons. Bane found strength in being trapped, Calvin found strength in escaping. It was interesting. But mostly the book just dragged on for too long.
I'm on Vol. 4 of Nightwing... just still trying to get caught up. But, I've really liked the series so far.
Finished the New 52 timelines for both Batman and Batgirl. I really liked how Batgirl of Burnside concluded, and I liked how Scott Snyder finished his run on Batman.
I'm probably going to re-read Thief of Thieves soon since that's starting up again now, and I've got to read Volume 5 and 6 for Saga. I also picked up a new series called Morning Glories. If it's good, I'll keep reading. If not, I'll check out Birthright or Manifest Destiny (I can't fnd a series called Southern Bastards but everyone says it's good. Still waiting on Trees vol. 2)

Ugh, I've gotten like 5 issues into Transformers' Robots in Disguise and More than Meets the Eye series, but I'm so confused as to what the story's supposed to be like so I'm waiting for the first compendium that'll contain most of the previous issues to come out in a couple weeks.

Reading Gotham Academy.
It's a mystery series set in a Batman timeline where Damian exists. It's like Harry Potter but with writers who don't know how to pace. The plot is what made me check out this series in the first place, but I'm just about to drop it because of the poor writing/pacing.

Yeah, I'd heard of it but never really took the leap to check it out. I think I'll skip it, poor pacing really gets to me in comics(which is a problem since many aren't paced well. Outcast, Invincible, and Saga are probably the biggest exceptions)

Saga might have crept into my Top 3. Top 5 at least. It's just soooo good. Like, for one, I love the pacing. They do timeskips pretty often, but in little intervals. It doesn't feel like something big and dramatic, but it feels like it keeps the pacing up, and it really feels like we're seeing Hazel grow up alongside the other characters. And I absolutely love the characters, even the "bad guys". I love how the plot is simultaneously focused on this one family, but also telling the story of this war and how it affects the universe. I love how it can be funny and shocking and sad... and how at times, it really does have something to say. I just love that series so much. I've started reading Morningglories and it's... not what I expected... If that's a good or bad thing remains to be seen. And I've got East of West and I'll keep reading that. Oh, by the way, Autobot Sonic Part II I know you were asking me about Nailbiter, did you ever get around to taking a look at it? Just kind of thought of it because I finally got Vol. 4. Anyway, I'm taking a break from the big DC stuff... finally got a bit burntout. I mean, I'm still reading the individual issues. I love the new batman, and there's Nightwing and Batgirl later this month, so I'm excited to see the new series' for both of those. I'll still try to catch up on Nightwing/Grayson, but.... eh. That's the only series right now that seems fresh to me from DC(aside from the rebirth titles)

I've been too busy catching up on my Sonic Comics and reading Fables: The Wolf Among Us online. Once the Transformers Compendium 1 comes out next week though I might pick up volume 1.
