I went back to replay the episode and found the quick change thingy. Now, Fiona's got a sick hat and Rhys arm now looks cool in black.

Jesus that sounds worse than the HL2 zombies. Thank god Loaderbot killed him in my playthrough. I couldn't stand that shit. Wait, what happens to Dumpy? I remember him slamming into a wall and that was it. If you choose Fiona do you remember how Vaughn was paralyzed? It was Dumpy that paralyzed Vaughn and Loader Bot slams the him to the ground.

I just realised, if you choose Fiona, Dumpy paralyses Vaughn. But if you choose Jack, you use the same projectiles to attack a ton of people like Vasquez and August but none of them get paralysed.

I admit, I found Fiona a bit meh-ish in episodes 1 and 2, but I really liked her in this episode. It was clearly her time to shine, liked her interaction with Athena and the possibility of her becoming a Vault Hunter instead of a con artist, which could be foreshadowing to her possibly being in Borderlands 3. But, with the cover for episode 5, it looks like there might be a decision in which we have to choose Rhys or Fiona and one of them bites the dust. And I don't have any problems with her voice actress. I do hope that isn't the choice, because if so, its a bit to easy, because we are all going to pick Rhys without a second thought. I really like Laura Bailey, and I like Fiona, not as much as Rhys or a lot of the other characters, but she still holds her own. Wrong again. At this point I'd pick Fiona.

If I could actually download the game via steam family sharing I'd pick Rhys in a heartbeat.

I don't dislike Fiona. I really like her. I think her humor and her playfulness is endearing. I'm not going to hold it against her or Laura Bailey that Rhys is the more complex character. There's so much shit going on with Rhys that it's not fair to compare the two. He's got Handsome Jack in his head, Hyperion all over his nuts, a Vault to pursue, a classic Ice Age Diego choice of whether to stick with his herd of baddies and gain ultimate power or join up with this ragtag group of no ones that he feels drawn to, and now the possibility of a budding romance with one of the con artists that tried to fuck him over. Fiona is just a con artist that wants to get a Vault and look out for her sister. They're not really comparable.

So, I've just rewatched the TFTB announcement trailer.
Fiona and Rhys trying to sell both parts of Gortys key to a merchant, whose voice incidentally belongs to the guy who narrates all opening scenes in each episode.
Also, the preview for Ep2 at the end of Zer0 Sum showed the Gortys core in its robotic form. And only then I understood that Gortys was (probably) going to be shown in the original plans at the end of Episode 2 - that's why the final achievement was titled, 'Miracle of Atlas Engineering'. And it's likely that Gortys will turn evil, since the final achievement for Ep3 is titled 'Angry Eyes', but that scene was probably pushed to Episode 4.
Gotta love the rewrites. No fun (and no episode delays) without them.

Also of note, I read a preview on an Xbox magazine (long before the first episode came out) that money was originally going to be tied to dialogue choices, kinda like what we saw with bribing Tector with $100 dollars to get into the bar in Zer0 Sum. However, over time, it seems they just decided to use it for cosmetics instead.

...Is that Jack doing his voice?...If that's so...then I really feel freaked out and uncomfortable. Sounds like it xD

Fantastic point, Fiona is simply a more static character, and Rhys has a ton of things going on all at once, and is funnier more or less.
