I don't know much about Ellie, But From what I've seen I think she might be a small inspiration for the older Clem. Perhaps, but she seems different enough to not be completely the same. |

The fact that one of Clementine can tell off Rebecca for swearing (because she is about to be a mom), and is upset with Alvin for swearing while she's blackmailing him highlights the difference. Clem can swear two times in the entire series. Ellie swears about two hundred times.

That and Clem is not as gung ho with killing things, she kills a total of 4 things in the episode, 2 were walkers, and 1 was a dog, she is not like Ellie in a lot of ways, and that I am quite happy off, hell this might be pushing it, but she reminds me more of a younger Elizabeth then Ellie. |
