But I currently can't get it to run on W8, no patches seem to be working. Fucking hell. Really? I was considering buying all 3 of them, guess not. Well, the first one worked alright, which is weird. And I heard the third one is working fine for most people. I just can't get the second part to work. But I'm gonna.

Tried running it in compatibility mode? Dude, that's the first thing I tried. Only then I went for various fixes, patches and cracks. I will figure it out tomorrow, because no way I'm letting rest of Baker's story get awy from me.

Please tell me that Baker is voiced by Troy Baker. Yep, and in fact it was HIS FIRST ever voice role, that was the birth of a career that would go all the way to Bioshock, Last of Us, Batman and beyond, also funny to note, I think the actor that played Red was really his best friend in real life.

So we get to learn more about Baker's dozen? that's good, we barely knew anything about some squad members. But I currently can't get it to run on W8, no patches seem to be working. Fucking hell. Yeah, most of Hill 30 was about Hartsock, Corrion, Legget, Allan, Garnett, and Baker. You learn a little more about Baker's squad in EiB, and even more about it in Hell's Highway. Also, gotta say that I love Baker as a protagonist. He's quiet and contemplative and totally unsuited for fighting in a war, unlike most protagonists in FPS's. Same, I love the guy, he is not the common COD protagonist that just loves war, hell in Hell's Highway it's clear that he is slowly falling apart at the semes, it was eerie, it was the best depiction of slowly going insane until I played Specs Ops the Line, and that ain't bad!

Hell, you could Tell Baker was losing it in Hill 30. Just listen to him talk about Risner, his best friend growing up, dying at Dead Man's Corner. Then listen to him lose his fucking shit after Allen and Garnett die at the farm.

True, it is pretty gradual, but by the third game it's pretty damn apparent that he is a bit fucked, also to anyone expecting a good satisfying conclusion, get fucked! Well that's what Gearbox pretty much said, because the third game just sort of ends, and there has been nothing since 2008!!!

Alright, I may have found something to make the first two games even better. These mods make the experience altogether more intense and frantic. Explosions throw more dirt in the air, shellshock lasts longer, grenades are thrown more often, you can get splattered with blood from nearby soldiers if they're shot next to you, you can order your squad to assault tanks, move quietly, spread out, all kinds of things. It even adds more soldiers to each side to make things bigger if you want it. The best part is that you can pick and choose which portions of the mod you actually want to play with. Don't want more soldiers on each side? Just don't activate that option on the Chapter Select menu. Don't like the new effects of soldiers being shot or explosions turning people into red mist? Don't activate that part of the mod. I've been toying with this all day and having a blast. I think I even saw "The" pistol modded to look like it does in Hell's Highway, at least as well as could be done in RtH30. Can't recommend these mods enough. If you want to use them, you need both RtH30 and EiB patched completely.

Finished Hell's highgway, finally. I really liked it. Great series, tha tneeds a motherfucking sequel to finish it. I actually got emotional in the last scene. Characters are interesting, gameplay is good, war is portrayed pretty well. I can safely recommend the series. Red though
