The third got cheesy in a few parts, and in a few parts seemed more like an action movie. Those action movie parts didn't last all that long though, and overall I feel that the third is a good game. My favorite is definitely Road to Hill 30, though. It's been a while, what parts were cheesy? Are you thinking the burning house part in chapter 6? Well regardless it's either the best, or the second best, we can all agree Earned in Blood is least right? Some of the voice acting was bad, but the part that stands out the most to me (And it's been a while for me as well, so I may not be remembering every moment) is: When Baker is telling Hartsock he was paralyzed, when Hartsock out of nowhere asks if everyone in the squad was worth it. Like, what the Hell? It came out of nowhere, because Baker always thought so highly of the guys in his squad. They were always worth it, there wasn't any doubt. It was just hamfisted in there to provide a little extra emotional oomph. Don't get me wrong, that scene was fantastic, and I was even tearing up during it, but that line came out of the blue. It irks me. Plus, the whole speech Baker makes at the end. Maybe I'm just not a guy who enjoys big speeches, but it felt more like something a character in a movie would do rather than a regular guy in a war. I still really like the game, but it isn't without its flaws. As for Earned in Blood, I liked that as well. Paddock and Doyle were awesome. Especially Doyle.

Oh yeah.... that was a bit odd, but it didn't ruin the scene at least, and yeah that last chapter was a bit much, but whatever, still a great a game, and I like Earned in Blood, it's just last for me, it's kind of like Mira, I like her a lot, but she is just last behind Asher, Gared, and you know who, oh and Paddock and Doyle were pretty badass.

Okay, gameplay started growing on me since the introduction of assault team. It's pretty cool to lead those two teams, instead if just doing all the shit yourself, like in every other fps.

Yeah, the first, like, third of the game is getting you used to leading one team. Things get serious once you get two teams, both gameplaywise and storywise.

Oh yeah, it get's better, I for one love leading MG soldiers, and tanks personally. Also I do love and also hate the fact that if you get hit, your health is not coming back, ever, and checkpoints are fairly spread out, it's physically impossible to Call of Duty any level for a more then half a second without dying, I love it but it takes a good long while to get used to.

Finished Road to hill 30. It was pretty cool, especially in the last few days. Now onto earned in blood.

It runs alongside/after the events of the first game, so you get to see what stuff was like from Hartsock's view. Plus Doyle and Paddock are easily the coolest squad members.

So we get to learn more about Baker's dozen? that's good, we barely knew anything about some squad members. But I currently can't get it to run on W8, no patches seem to be working. Fucking hell.

Fuck if I know. I wish someone had made some kind of description on the first page, somewhere around the third post. Man, that would have been handy if I knew how to read.

You learn a little more about Baker's squad in EiB, and even more about it in Hell's Highway. Also, gotta say that I love Baker as a protagonist. He's quiet and contemplative and totally unsuited for fighting in a war, unlike most protagonists in FPS's.

I was considering buying all 3 of them, guess not.
