I'm pretty sure I'm not the only fan of this game here, so here's a thread where we can talk about if. Ya know, if they ever fucking make the next one to finish the series off.
Til then, we can talk about other stuff related to this series, like favorite moments or characters. For me, my favorite characters would probably be Allen and Garnett (Can't have one without the other) and, surprisingly, Zanovich. I was glad to see he got promoted in Hell's Highway.

Basically you're a squad leader commanding your troops through Normandy and Holland in World War 2. The game focuses less on the action and more on the story and characters, and it practically lives by the "Anyone Can Die" trope. It pretty much gives you what war is without glorifying it like a ton of other FPS's.

It's also kind of like Band of Brothers in the sort that the characters slowly become the best of friends, or just plain die.

Also was the very first game to feature Troy Baker, how about that?

Make that two, I loved this series, now give us the forth one Gearbox! Seriously, I fully believe that Gearbox can tell great stories because of this game, it was just fantastic, also my two favorites were always Baker and Red, man that third game messed with me badly.

While not without its flaws, by the end I could say that I really cared for some of the characters, or at the very least like they seemed like actual people. As tired as everyone is of World War 2 games, I say that we still need the conclusion to this series.

You know, I just can't seem to remember. Shucks. If only there was some kind of... description somewhere on this thread, that could be easily found if one had bothered to read through it, specifically to the third post. But, damn, I guess there isn't one. I'm sorry I let you down.

Gameplay is kinda meh. Too early to say about the story and chatacters yet.

The gameplay for the first two is pretty meh in comparison to the third one, but they were aiming for more realistic with those two. The third is more like a war movie, but again, without the glorification, and it gets a bit cheesy in a couple places but I forgive it that.

Yeah, the first two were very realistic, hell I read once that West Point once made it's students play the first two games, that's pretty good, the third is a little bit less realistic, if only just, it's still beats COD and Battlefield, and it's in my opinion better, hell the third might be the best of the three.

The third got cheesy in a few parts, and in a few parts seemed more like an action movie. Those action movie parts didn't last all that long though, and overall I feel that the third is a good game. My favorite is definitely Road to Hill 30, though.

Well regardless it's either the best, or the second best, we can all agree Earned in Blood is least right?
