I'm just gonna say it now: Whatever happens in Atlas Mugged, I hope they don't add in the timed QTE in there, too. Dealing it in GoT is enough for me.

I need to decide whether to buy this again on PC since the XBOne version of GoT was fucked up and didn't pass over choices, and I don't want that to happen here, although that would require quite a bit of saving up to get it when it's out, or do I wait and see if the XBOne one is fucked up again. Although I'm guessing that might be why it's taking so long to come out is their fixing it. Could be fixing GOT is what is taking so long for TFTBL? Could be that they're making sure it doesn't happen with TFTBL.

Same, I must be the only one who sees it as a really difficult QTE that I can't remember ever seeing in a game that adds a bit of variety and also makes it more stressful, seeing how I always tap the button the moment I see it, now I must wait to see if it's that type, or not, I like it a lot, I must admit.

You're not alone on that actually. And it wouldn't be the first time they used that in one of their games. It had gotten used very often back in Jurassic Park: The Game.

I thought it was entirely new, well shit, I take it that it was far more annoying in Jurassic Park? Well regardless, it adds yet another thing to throw at you, and for me anyway, always stress me out, even when I know it's coming, there is just something about it that makes me panic, and thus makes the fighting even better, plus the fact you can fail some QTEs like TWAU, not like TWDS2, makes it very possible that GOT might have some of the best Telltale fights ever.

So, while playing through Borderlands 2 again, I think I found another connection with Tales...maybe...kinda sorta...possibly...
Anyways, at the beginning of Zer0 Sum, while Vaughn and Rhys are walking and talking about Rhys' promotion and what they had to do to get him there, Vaughn tells Rhys to never mention the "Eridium Mine Deal." So something involving an Eridium mine down on the planet that went horribly, horribly wrong.
Well, early in BL2, you can accept a side quest to shoot up some bandit miners in a place called Tundra Express. It turns out that these bandits were mining, yes, Eridium for Hyperion. After destroying the mining operation, you go one step farther to screw Hyperion by robbing the train that carried the payroll for the bandit miners. Yeah, not only did you stop the Eridium mining, but you stole all the money that was set aside specifically for the operation as well. So the question is, did we screw Rhys out of an earlier promotion with that sidequest? Would he have been promoted earlier, thus become Vasquez's superior and coming closer to being the new Handsome Jack? Are WE responsible for literally everything happening in TFTBL now?
Headcanon says... yes.

Job put out these tweets several hours ago: As well, he actually posted this post in the Telltale forums: More news?! Okay. Yeah. So, the team is working hard on finishing 102, and yes, we hope you'll really enjoy it! I played a version before the weekend and checked it out again later tonight and it's looking great! We know the wait has been a while, but we hope you'll agree it'll be worth it!
Sometimes we'll play an episode and sometimes it might need a little more love or a little more time to be the best it can be. With Tales from the Borderlands Ep 2, this was the case. The reception to the first episode was, quite frankly, above and beyond what we ever hoped! We cannot thank you enough for playing this series as we kicked off! We want Ep 2 to be awesome. This of course means that it's taking a few extra weeks to make sure it's as fun as the first.
After the premiere, we took some time to look at everyone's feedback and take a closer look at different choices being made, listening to the player community. These factor into the overall development process. Remember, we're in live development! This series was a fresh idea and a unique take on an existing universe, and it meant we had to listen very carefully to what you had to say, and what you did in the premiere. This factors into certain aspects of the game and story itself as the series progresses.
With a series as big as Tales, and with a cast that's only going to grow and perhaps tie even more closely to what's happened/happening elsewhere in the Borderlands universe, this second episode has a lot of ground to cover! The cast is huge and the action is pretty crazy. Also, Scooter is a bit of a handful, so we hope you'll understand when we get a little tied up managing the talent.
We're always striving to deliver quality content on a frequent and more predictable basis, but at the end of the day, quality content comes first.
We're insanely excited to get everyone playing 'Atlas Mugged' as soon as possible. It'll be in your hands checks Telltale 'S-word' Thesaurus .... 'before long,' but not before our panel at PAX East next weekend, I can say that.
That said, the panel will be a blast! We'll be out in Boston opening the show with the 'Story Time' panel, then we'll be with Gearbox on Sunday the 8th along with Rhys and Fiona themselves, Troy Baker and Laura Bailey!
If all goes well, MAYBE THERE WILL BE SOME KIND OF VIDEO TO SHOW YOU!?! Who knows!? If all goes even better, I'm hopeful we'll have a firm date to share with you as well. It may be beyond our control on that date, but as you know, as soon as we know, you'll know via twitter, and I'll be tweeting that myself the minute our dates are locked with our partners.
I really do thank you guys again for all of your patience. You mean the world to us, and if we're ever quiet on the boards, it's largely due to us being so busy here working to make the best episodes possible.
In the future, keep your eyes peeled to our twitter accounts for the most frequent updates as they happen. Also stay tuned here in the coming weeks and months as our team grows and we have more awesome community activities, events, live-streams, and all kinds of fun things planned for this year and beyond!
Thanks again, guys. That's all for now, but stay tuned for more!

-@jobjstaufferDAMMIT! I live about 2 hours from Boston, but apparently PAX tickets are super expensive! Maybe I'll be able to go with a little haggling. EDIT: NVM, they're sold out.

Maybe I'll drive into Boston and scalp tickets.
(lol, no.)
I don't know if anything is worth going into Boston right now. There's been no place to put the infinity amounts of snow they've received. Driving in Boston is a nightmare on average. When you add all this snow into the mix, it's been apocalyptic. Pair that with the even more limited parking available and the significant issues that the MBTA has faced... I wouldn't wanna be anywhere near Boston right now. Hell, I feel like I'm feeling the affects where I am and that's 55 minutes out.
Happy to hear there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Also happy that someone must have smacked Job in the back of the head and told him to do his job. Other than that... eh. More waiting.

Also he has to keep one screen open for ventilation and enough snow came through for him to make a fucking snow cone I would say I'm jealous but I live where it's sunny and 70-80* basically every day of the year. so.

Believe me my life is hell at the moment with all this snow! IT'S EVERYWHERE! Winter has come for us! Hell it's so bad that the cops sarcastically arrested Elsa from Frozen just to stop the snow! That was also not a joke, it happened!
