Just a hunch. After so many well-received, long-ass chapters this one is more like a regular 'business as usual' ITF chapter. I suspect that after that finale going back to the norm feels like a bit of a step back or something? This feels more like a step down in quality as compared to any other chapter in Season Three as a whole(to me at least).

It has some sense that it is a downturn. It is a "finishing" after the whole action took place and it is a bit of a downer.

... I'm glad Thomas lived, and I do like where his arc went.
I think maybe I could have been convinced that having Annie live was a good thing, but I get the feeling that you only kept her alive because you have a close attachment to the character... Which, I mean, it kind of defeats the point of writing a story that's meant to be tragic. You set everything up for her death, and this almost feels like it undermined that. It didn't have to, either. It's just... It was how you handled it, and to be honest, it pissed me off a little.
I don't have a problem with Vince's exile, but... The dialogue was... Ehh.... Very awkward in parts. Just... yeah... It felt wrong, and forced. However, that was, for the most part, handled quite well.
I guess we'll see what happens with the epilogue, but as of right now, I don't think it's a particularly good ending for the series(season, yes. series, no) and I believe some of the dialogue could have been revised to flow a little better. And the Annie thing... Hmm.... I'll probably post my overall thoughts on this Season tomorrow. I can still tell you this, it's almost entirely positive. And if you do do any kind of Fan-fic or story in the future, I will eagerly await it.

Though Ch60 is titled 'Epilogue', it doesn't mean it's an afterthought/separate to the rest of the story. It's the 'true' ending, though I'm concerned how that will be taken. Also I have to remember to start the Post-Fic discussion thread tomorrow.

I'm not saying I wanted Annie to die ( I definitely didn't ) but it was a perfect send-off for her and to bring her back like that was kinda annoying. I am happy she's alive though.
It also annoyed me that Lucia kinda accepted Thomas in like that, "I killed Anders." "I eat people." She kinda just shrugs it off, "You think you'll stop?" "Anders was my friend but i'll let you stay and believe you immediately about all you've said." That just bugged me, I'm not sure if I'm making enough sense. But overall, this is the best season out of all 3 imo, Silas's death was extremely satisfying and Vince slashing his guts out like Negan did with that one guy in the comics (won't spoil who) - and then Becca kicking his body off the roof was awesome. I'm interested how the last chapter's gonna be. Goodbye Vince

That guy who does the "achievement unlocked" reviews' most recent one has made this keep going around in my head:

^ As usual, this is the place to leave your thoughts after the season's end, as opposed to this thread, with no spoiler tags ^

This chapter was originally going to be the Epilogue. Thought I'd expand on Silas's family a little as it was a part of his life that was kept secret, even from his point of view. After Sanctum, it was something he repressed and only recalled in the last moments of his life. In a way Silas having a daughter is kind of a play on Wyatt and Annie's relationship.
Probably hard to notice, but this was Silas making a reference to his wife.
-Silas referring to Freya.

Is the walker Freya kills supposed to be Mitchell? NVM I looked at the statuses and it was.

I still can't get over the fact that I somehow knew that she was Silas daughter even before it was actually revealed... Eagerly waiting for more both from new characters and from the "Princess"

SOMEONE KILL HER BEFORE SHE GROWS UP WITH HATE IN HER HEART AND BECOMES SILAS 2.0 KILL KILL KILL
It's like a baby spider. You can think that it's harmless when it's so small and innocent. Then you remember it was hatched from a big ass monstrosity that loves lurking in the shadows and fucking with you when you least expect it. And it will eventually grow up to be the very same monstrosity.
