So your saying they'll be PC's, or they'll be the acting lord (or lady, as it were) of the house? at this point, Ryon is technically lord Forrester. the line of succession is as follows Asher <Dissinherited and Exiled> Ryon <Hostage of whitehills> Mira <Kings Landing> Talia <Alive at Ironrath> I personally think that Asher will come back to Ironrath by episode 4 at the latest, and take over as lord. And Rodrik had a warhorse fall on top of him. We're talking 1,700 pounds, minimum here. And on top of that, he was surrounded by people who already wanted to kill him. Even if he survived the initia horse fall, the Frey's weren't looking to take him hostage. He likely would have had his throat slit.

There are scenes of Royland and Duncan arguing about leadership and Talia saying they need to get Ryon back. There needs to be a new Ironrath POV for those scenes so I'm guessing Talia would be the best candidate for it. I think her storyline would probably focus on rescuing Ryon from the Whitehills. Also regarding Rodrik, we're talking Telltale logic here. If he was just there to be killed they wouldn't have bothered including him.

But he did have a purpose: so Ethan wouldn't know what the hell he's doing when he became lord.

Maybe, but explain the added texture of the scars, why bother?

Maybe, but explain the added texture of the scars, why bother? Simple. The blood on his face shows that he's actually dead, not just knocked out by the horse. We are talking about the blood on his cheek, right?

We are talking about the blood on his cheek, right? I think? But it looks more like a scar to me, which defeats the point, why add something like that to a dead person? And can someone try to explain the silhouette?

They wouldn't make a texture for something that appears for less than five seconds if it's not important. The cuts and scarring on his face would be used to elicit a reaction from other characters, along with the limp he'll probably have.
Fact of the matter is, if they wanted him dead they would've shown him being run through by Freys like Gregor.

Yep I have always been iffy on death's like that since Kenny, because it DOES leave the door open if they want to, simple as that, if they wanted to make us think he was dead, why not just let the Frey's stab him repeatedly? I would buy that.

Since we're on the topic, we should probably clarify the bet. If roderik returns, I'm sure we can all agree it will be before episode 4. If Roderick hasn't shownnup by the end of the bet, bio looses. Sound fair?

What episode slide supposedly features the silhouette of Roderik? Isn't that where this all stemmed from? That should be the episode he needs to appear by. Anything past that is just taking a shot in the dark on some Kenny-based conjecture.

Anything past that is just taking a shot in the dark on some Kenny-based conjecture. Main menu has Asher, Mira and Gared along with what is blatantly Rodrik's silhouette. Combined with the fact Asher's silhouette is in the pre-episode 1 main menu it pretty much confirms it's Rodrik.

I want y'all too look up "anvil weight" on Google.
Then google "average horse wight".
It would have been better for Roderick if a fuckng ANVIL fell on him instead of a horse.

Sound fair? Nope, the deal was if he shows up alive, it doesn't matter when, though I got a feeling episode 2 is likely when.
