Wasn't there a 2nd one already? I finished the 1st one and liked it, but forgot about the series afterwards.

Still want 2nd one though. AN was a little meh. Not bad but not particularly good either, especially when expecting a full on sequel. We all want the 2nd one.

Barry needs to be in the 2nd one. It's a must-buy, if he is.

There is a lot of potential in that demo. I like the way the rewriting reality sequence was done here a lot better than in American Nightmare. And it was cool with how they took advantage of the environment. To the Taken that used that Car door as a shield, that's cheating! I also saw a bear taken in the middle of the concept art, and if they add that in the sequel, it would make a hell of a boss fight. Please make a full sequel, Remedy!

I'm assuming American Nightmare isn't canon if Mr. Scratch is going to be in the sequel.
And that demo was fucking awesome! I liked how it didn't seem to focus on the Taken. By which I mean didn't do the thing where the camera zooms right in on them a lot of the time. Made the first one a little bit less scary.

Plot Twist, Remedy's pulling a Phantom Pain on us and AW2's gonna be Alan Wake 2: Quantum Break.

I think AWAN is canon, it's just that Night Springs episode penned by Alan was twisted by The Dark Presence to replace the champion of light and the champion of darkness from the episode with Alan and Scratch respectively (or maybe it was written by Alan by the end of AW - "Return" is the name of the episode - because he thought it will allow him to escape, but he failed, because it had to follow the template of an TV episode - meaning, it ends with 'did it happen? or maybe not?'). I think that Mr Scratch is still out there, but Alan, while writing, thought that he might get rid of him by writing him into the story. And he did kill him, but ONLY his Night Springs counterpart.

So it's of so little consequence that it may as well not be canon.

One thing I forgot to mention. The one thing that I really enjoyed from American Nightmare, is the new single.
