I liked Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy, it was dumb as all hell and made no sense, but I really enjoyed it, didn't mind Heavy Rain either. Funny you should say that, Fahrenheit just got an HD re-release on Steam yesterday! Surprisingly it's the 8th top seller so far.

Those Matrix QTE battles crack me up every time.

For me I have to just scratch my head in shock because all of this is suppose to be taken seriously, no really this should have been in House of the Dead Overkill, a game that does not give any fucks and is clearly suppose to be a B movie at best, this game was suppose to be the equivalent of an multi Oscar winning film, see the problem? For me the best part is always the people's reaction to what is essentially nuking the fridge, something so monumentally stupid that jumping the shark is not strong enough of a term!

That is not always the case, all the Twilight movies actually got average reviews, but no man on this Earth will call them average, reviewers just don't know best, I mean I saw a real reviewer, not a blogger, give TWDS1 a two out of ten.

I looked it up a bit before I bought it a few months ago, so I knew what I was getting into, I love stupid games, even if they take themselves too seriously, I need a break from all that depressing shit now and again, although the part at the beggining where you solve your own crime was actually really cool, i kinda wish the whole game was like that.

I admit the beginning was good, and was an interesting idea, it all then pile drives into the ground soon after, and yes I know we all need to take a break from depressing shit, but I instead play something like Mario, or Stick of Truth, or Saints Row, or my entire collection of Disney films, I don't need to play a terrible video game, that and I really, really don't feel like supporting David Cage and his "emotion" bullshit!

I'm not getting why everyone says Aiden Pearce from Watch_Dogs is a boring character. I actually really like him, and, once I get around to revising my list, I'll probably put him up there.
I mean, sure, he's more or less the main character from Drive(Jacks not talking really drives the point home, considering the kid in Drive did the same thing), but The Driver was awesome, so I've got no complaints there.

Dude, it's entertaining. I mean, that's enough for me. I personally find it hilarious that David Cage takes his games so serious. I don't get angry over it. no one takes him seriously.

Sadly that last part is not fully true, he has gotten a lot of awards for leading game developer and industry icon, and not just from France, ugh, I wish that wasn't true, because unlike, say, Ken Levine who actually praises TWD as one of the most emotional games ever, this guy pretty much shits on them by saying that emotion only comes from good graphics.

I gotta say, I thought Aiden was really bland, he was like Batman if you zapped all personality out of him, and then there's the whole thing with the game trying to act like you/him are a hero, and yet on his personal vendetta to get revenge he kills more innocents than he saves. Also the part where you can mount over your dead nieces grave after an "emotional" cut scene was really dumb.

Yeah, Cage is a bit of a plank, still though, one guy shouldn't put you off an entire studios games. Also they should replace David Cage with Nicholas Cage, I think he gets the tone of their games more than David Cage.

I don't think the game ever really portrays Aiden as a hero. At best, he's an anti-hero, at worst, he's pure fucking evil. I found that the main story kind of leaned more towards anti-hero, but I never got the feeling that it in anyway was showing Aiden to be the hero. Also, I literally have no experience with Batman. Never watched any of the movies, read the comics, or played the games. And, the last thing isn't the game breaking your immersion, that's the player doing that. I never did silly shit like that, so I can say that, no, the game doesn't really break the immersion on it's own, you'd have to be doing that yourself, in which case, said person has no right to complain. I actually liked a lot of the more emotional scenes, and Aiden's interactions with other characters. To me, he felt like The Driver from Drive, but much more brutal, and with a lot more personality. And, the acting throughout the game is really good. One of my favorite scenes with Aiden is in the mission "Not the Pizza Guy". Also, the whole end of Act I.
