Oh I am so going to judge you for liking Beyond: Two Souls, which is the most annoying title ever because you have to mark the colon for it sounds like a totally different title! I was actually liked it as well, and I don't see your point about the title. Yahtzee(Zero Punctuation) made a point about it, too, and I still don't get the problem. Anyway, yes, it's ridiculous. But... why would anyone expect a serious story from David Cage? I mean, I get mocking him for thinking it could be a serious "emotional" story, but leave his idiocy out of it, and you can just appreciate it for it's insanity and very good acting. I could and or would if he would just market them as essentially B movie's with horrible plots, badly written characters, and plot holes that you could fly planes through, but no he keeps on going about how all other games suck and he is leading the industry with the greatest games ever and graphics equal emotions, not writing, man fuck that shit so much! He is the very definition of pretentious, he is perhaps the worst Frenchmen in a long time. Fucking hell I will gladly take Louie the IX over this fucker!

I'm not going to bother replying to every point but: Bioshock 2 is canon, we've been through this, Bio. I honestly don't give a damn about the gameplay too much. I liked Bioshock 2 because overall, I liked the story more than Infinite. The only thing that I liked in Infinite compared to any of the Bioshock games are Booker and Elizabeth. Didn't like Comstock as a villain, didn't like the side characters, it's riddled with plot holes, and it's a step away from the original(or 2, for the matter) in what the story is actually about. The first two were a commentary on society by showing two extremes. Essentially, either of those games could be a message against extremism. The first focused on capitalism and individualism, and 2 did much of the same with communism, and turned the idea of "utopia" on it's head. In terms of any sort of social commentary, Infinite's big message seems to be "racism is bad", or "Religious extremism is bad". The first point is... well, unnecessary, and the second point could have been good, if they had done anything with it. Bioshock's science fiction element was tied in with the message that the story showed. Scientists were not tied down by any laws or morality, so Rapture progressed very fast. The focus on individualism naturally led them to genetic modification. All the fantastical elements in the original had a reason to exist. Bioshock 2, obviously, carried this over, but it also focused more on the relationship between the Big Daddy's and Little Sister's, and they did this quite well, but than that small bit at the end of Burial at Sea I'd say. Infinite's plot focuses mostly on the science fiction element, to it's detriment, and not a whole lot of the science fiction stuff has a reason to exist. What's the reason for vigors? No one uses them, and they are not seen as an important part of the world. They exist as a gameplay element only. As I said before, I really don't want to get into it, but honestly, even though I've posted this video before, this covers all my complaints with Infinite: As for the second... well, no, it doesn't have a reason to exist, but honestly, I liked the story more than Infinite, and the gameplay. It's a better game, regardless of if it has less place in the series as a whole. I know we have been over this before but someone please explain how Burial at Sea and Bioshock 2 take place in the same Rapture, it's clear as day that one contradicts the other, I mean I have said before, Ken Levine does not like Bioshock 2, he doesn't talk about it that much at all, but it's clear, and he retconned it with the final DLC for Infinite, seriously explain this pair bond problem, if you can then fine, I will totally accept defeat on this one, but I just can't, it's clear that the birth of the Big Daddy was caused by Elizabeth a couple weeks into 1960, and said Big Daddy kills Dr. Suchong, but then again, wasn't Delta the first pair bonded Big Daddy? And he died on News Years Eve 1959, weeks before Suchong was murdered by one, please explain this massive discrepancy.

Therefore, it's a plot hole. And since Bioshock 2 came first, that doesn't mean Bioshock 2 isn't canon, it means that Burial at Sea has a plot hole in it. Not that it matters anyway... Both explanations are fine, but they're at odds with each other. Since, officially, Bioshock 2 is still canon, and Burial at Sea came later, I'd take the Bioshock 2 explanation over the Burial at Sea explanation.

Regardless I don't think they are so bad it's good, because it's so painfully clear that he wants you to take everything serious like it's the goddamn Last of Us, except it's not Last of Us, oh no... and his record with female character is madness, I mean I can't believe that feminists have not assassinated him level bad, I mean Christ, first game the chick knows you for one scene, then sex, no kidding, the second game has the girl in either a nurse scene for the main character, or in a creepy rape scenarios, in a shower, or just being the love interest, and the last game has so many rape scenes that I started to feel really bad for Ellen Page, I mean how many shower scenes do you need!!!!!!

I don't know about that, one of them was not made by the official company and creator and takes place after Bioshock, which makes it easier to just cut off, the other was made by all the official channel's, sets up Bioshock 1, and takes place before the events, thus making it harder to just cut out, I don't know, hell even 2K doesn't seem to give much of a shit, you know I am interested to know, I am going to a game convention, maybe I'll ask the man himself which is canon, but don't shocked if it's Burial at Sea, seeing how he made it.

Shit, my internet went out. Regardless, what I said was: David Cage is not at all comparable to Louis IX. I probably like David Cage's games because of Jesse Cox. his playthroughs were hilarious, especially Fahrenheit. "You discovered Christianity. Level up!"

But if it wasn't Jesse Cox then it wouldn't have been fun, that's the problem with it, and again, can David Cage ever write a game without horrible stereotypes? I mean good god man, there are to many in Indigo Prophecy, I mean's embarrassing, and again, female characters... ugh, I really feel I could do better then he could at making female characters, mine would have at least two less rape scenes per character, oh man, I also heard they are releasing Indigo Prophecy tomorrow on PC with better graphics... fuck me!

I'd play it, honestly. It was entertaining. There was one part that was just hilariously bad.

It's so dumb... but funny if only because Jesse Cox, that is all, the other best playthrough was Two Best Friends which totally points out every plot hole or stupid moment, and it's just great, they did the same thing with the other two games, and I can ever say when talking about them is JASON! JASON! JA-SON!

I'm gonna get in on this and show my favorite video game characters. Starting from my childhood all the way to 2015. CrocHOLY SHIT. You played Croc too? I thought I was the only one I knew who played that game! It sucked. JK it was pretty good, but Crash and Spyro were better IMO. Also, glad to see someone else who doesn't completely hate on Beyond.

I liked Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy, it was dumb as all hell and made no sense, but I really enjoyed it, didn't mind Heavy Rain either.
