Me too, but they're apparently pretty far into the second episode's production. Well, I can see somebody is making priority's. "yeah, better get hard to work at minecraft before we finish got and tftbl, rite? hehe clearly we got our priorites straight" -telltale, 2k256

Please, the earliest Telltale's ever given for a release date was I think about two weeks in advance. We'll probably get Thrones' date after Tales comes out.

I think something similar happened with Episodes 3 and 4 of Borderlands (hence the quicker consecutive releases for those two episodes). Telltale has always worked on multiple episodes within a Season (albeit in a light way, such as writing the story), but perhaps they recently figured out a way to make that process work quicker - that, or maybe they are actually developing multiple episodes simultaneously.

I think it's mostly an arbitrary delay for marketing purposes so they can make sure each game gets it's time in the spotlight. Job seemed pretty sure we would get Borderlands on either Oct 20/27th during that Twitter Q&A but they just today announced the date for the episode.

Personally I'm glad they never really give estimations for release dates or the actual dates early too often because knowing a date always makes the wait a little harder.
