So, Vertigo has started a spin-off series that's basically a comic book adaptation of The Wolf Among Us, which you can find here. Now, it seems the route they're taking with this is to show events from the game, but overlay some narration from Bigby(so whatever you thought Bigby may have been thinking at that time, now you know what he was really thinking! Isn't that great?), and, of course, show us the "canon" story. Fucking. Great. On top of that, judging from what isn't directly ripped from the game, the dialogue isn't brilliant. Sooo.... yeah. Anyway, the "canon" decisions form episode one: -Bigby gives Toad a hard time about his glamour -Bigby kicks the door down -Bigby let's Faith stomp the axe into Woody's head -Bigby lights Faith cigarette -Bigby gives Faith money |

So... remember how E1 of The Wolf Among Us handled the foreshadowing with Faith's ribbon? Well, apparently Vertigo believes that the comic book readers are idiots, and decided to lose any sense of subtlety.  |

Yeah, but problem is, my Bigby wasn't as much of an asshole, I'm sorry, I just played him as a guy trying to change and just getting the shaft because the job sucks, that is just another major flaw of putting this in comic form. |

You know, with the direction of the comic's story, I won't be surprised if Bigby's gonna rip off Grendel's arm, torture Dee/Woody, smash everything in Georgie's club, kill Tweedle Dum and of course, kill the Crooked Man before his trial.

If I recall, it was Faith who said that in the game. Besides: THE GAME IS CANON. EVERY GAME CHOICE IS A CANON. The game was created first under Willingham's guidance (and he was probably the reason why the story was rewritten - that's how far TT had to go to keep it canon). For someone who didn't play the game, this comic may be canon. But for someone who played the game, it's not. |

I'll give them credit, they mostly rewrote the scene with Bigby and Colin, and it's still pretty good. Also, Bigby's narration is growing on me, and the art style is great.
