Yes I actually did, great show by the way. I'm on 605, and goddamn, Said's death was so fucking disappointing. Not only was he my favorite living character at that point, but his death wasn't even properly foreshadowed in the episode. Like they tacked it on. I looked it up, and Said's actor had to move on to a different project, but at least give some in-episode foreshadowing, huh?
Yeah it did feel rushed and it didn't have enough impact.

That part was fantastic, so much better then this, I guess it goes to show that execution of a character's death matters just as much as does the quality of the character.

The character was great, but the tension and buildup are necessary aspects. The example that I mentioned had proper build-up, and awesome tension, yet still was very unexpected. Dude, I thought Omar was fucking dead. So far, though, he's gotten a fate worse than death. Solitary, followed by complete isolation.

It truly doesn't get worse then that, you start wishing for death before you go insane down in the hole.

I know right. I was pissed off by that death scene. Didn't know the had to move, but that doesn't fully excuse his death. Adebisi's actor also had to move, and while I also felt disappointed by it, at least he had some build up, and the scene itself was pretty cool. They could have at least Cutler arrange his death, ignoring Omar White's warning. Get onto 606, it's goood. I forgot how much I love Adebisi.

Alright, we now know what the 'cheap shocker at the motel' was. The comic is not changing the order of events, it just shows us what happens at the Open Arms while Bigby is at Toad's apartment. PS. The best line of the issue belong to Toad - while Bigby is examining things in his apartment: "Slap a cape and cowl on him, he's the the world's greatest detective"

Have got to start reading these again. I just can't be bothered most of the time, and soon forget about it.

Let me guess. Woody retelling his story at the Trip Trap? No. It's... Gren's version. Actually, the entire issue consists of scenes that do not exist in the game (and the Trip Trap scene is completely remade). I mean, Flycatcher, Jack and Rose Red (!!!) show up. What I liked the most is the fact that Jack appears in a scene that hints at a sequence that was cut from the game (if I recall correctly, Jack was supposed to show up at the Open Arms hotel in Ep 2 - in the comic, he mentions that he had 'professional visits' with Faith).
