Well that is one aspect that could be expanded, and it couldn't be done in game, so at least props to that, still don't know if the whole thing is worth it. Well, there are some small touches here and there, some of them really good (conversation with Colin, Faith's backstory) and some of them awful (screwing the foreshadowing with the ribbon, Bigby fighting like a little bitch etc.). It's a hard question, but - given what we were shown this far - it's not worth it. Maybe it will change later. Probably, wonder how they are going to handle Bloody Mary, if they screw that up, then, well, firstly SOS is totally going to kill someone, and two, it's going to completely ruin the whole thing past repair.

Bloody Mary was fantastic and I don't want them to change her in any way (or any of her lines), she was written perfectly. But, given how they changed Gren (his entire scene was changed - and he wasn't even frustrated at Bigby, like in the game, he was just making jokes and moaning about mundy employers), I'm afraid they're going to change her too.

That is very true, I wouldn't change anything, every line, every movement, it's perfect, and now that I think about it, it's better to not have backstory on her, you know? It would sort of ruin the mystery, oh god, I really don't want to know what they will do to one of Telltale's greatest villains.

I'm afraid that if they decide to change that, they'll go with either of these two options: make her a secluded, depressed fable in the Homelands who became cold and vile in NY (I truly hope they won't do that - I hate when the writers try to make us sympathize with the villain - except BM wasn't designed for that in the first place); or they'll go with the once-popular theory that she's Greenleaf's long lost daughter (I hope not, because I don't want any of the 'I found my daughter and now you killed her!' drama llama). If they'll stick with the original, I'll be happy. If they don't - then they should come up with something that will top TT's version, but not in any of the ways above.

I do like the idea of the sympathetic villain, but only if its done well, and trust me, sympathetic is a word that does not exists to Bloody Mary, and really the whole being the daughter of Greenleaf never really excited me or interested me, so they better keep her the same, or as I said, bad things will happen because of a certain person here...

I know. I like sympathetic villains too (well, from time to time) but Bloody Mary won't work as such. While I'm not the fan of the supposed connection to Greenleaf, it could be interesting... except it would be completely unnecessary (because what would that bring to the story? Nothing) and - if not done right - it would ruin the story. Mr S is watching, I know that

Bloody Mary kind of reminded me of Mr. Scratch from Alan Wake's American Nightmare, just a complete psychopath, with really nothing known about them apart from that one trait.

I suppose so, I mean hell even the two codex entry's doesn't tell you much, the only thing everyone can agree on is that her name is Mary, and she is an absolute psychopath that revels in blood and death, and the rest is completely debatable, which is how I like it! Because I have seen what too much backstory can do to a great villain... I am looking at you Darth Vader and Maleficent!

For point of reference on who Mr. Scratch is: Oh, I remember Mr. Scratch very well. That motherfucker is just creepy and obnoxious as hell. And, I gotta admit, he does sorta remind me of Bloody Mary.

To hell with the game, this is the best video of Scratch ever: "It's not a lake, it's an ocean. Ooooo"
