Okay, so can someone who reads the comic confirm this?
I've heard that they mentioned that Bloody Mary is bisexual. Which, sure, that's fine...
But then they keep bringing her sexuality up over and over again, and she sexually harassed Snow?
Like.......... FUCKING. WHY.
Why would you take a character like that an then have her be defined by her sexuality, which is the most awful way to write characters, as if their sexuality is the only thing that matters?

Writing ANY character who is solely defined by sexuality is bad, it makes a boring uninteresting character. If this is true... then I have no words. For two reasons, most obviously, her sexuality is never ever brought up in the slightest, for all we know she doesn't have an interest in anything or anybody, its not important. It adds once again, mystery to the character, which is sorely missed here. Two, WHY??? What made the writer look at her and say, "yeah, she's totally bisexual, lets make that her most stand out character trait," over you know, being a uncaring psychopath that loves murder and killing and all sorts of violence? That isn't enough of a standout trait? Man, I am a broken record when it comes to this series, but I don't care, FUCK THIS COMIC!

It's not a comic book, its the writers take on what I assume its most people's favorite antagonist from The Wolf Among Us, and how taken aback I am when it comes to how they wrote her. They seemingly tried to make her a bad character compared to the Telltale game, they have made far to many questionable choices for no reason.

She doesn't sexually harass Snow, but only implies that they could have some fun together (meeting at a late show or something, can't remember). Also, Bloody Mary behaves like a very bad copy of Joker in the issue from which the pictures above come from. They even draw her having the unnatural grin.

Just this incredibly intimidating henchmen that just revels in anything violent. She loves to cause pain and murder, no matter who or what they are. And she is suppose to be mysterious, we aren't suppose to know who she really is or was, why she is so blood thirsty, we are never suppose to know. It's meant to be a mystery, where we come up with theory's that can never be proven, she's not suppose to be dumb, she is clearly clever, and once again, sexuality was never even a afterthought for the character, it doesn't exist! God! This pisses me off more and more when I think about it!

Ah, people had said she did a lot more than that. Still not great, because it's unnecessary and only to the detriment of the character.

Writing ANY character who is solely defined by sexuality is bad, it makes a boring uninteresting character. Yeah, I mean, take the Sonic Comics for instance. You've got this one character named Rotor, who the readers have had NO idea as to his sexuality, only to find out last year in issue 263 that he's gay, but that's it. They only bring it up once, and never mention it again. He's not defined by it, it's just a character trait.

A fantastic example of how to handle a character's sexuality was with Bill in The Last of Us. I mean, that's by far the best way I've seen writer in anything handle that.

Great example, I can think of a lot of character traits, but being gay is not the first one, that is how it is in real life. Nobody is defined by sexuality, nobody is. I'll give an example, Howard Ashmen, the man who wrote all the songs for Beauty and the Beast, he was gay, but I never think of that when I talk about the man. I think of how talented and imaginative the man was, not who he loved. That is how people are in life, and just one good reason TLOU is a good game.

I agree! It is TERRIBLE to try and define a great character like Bloody Mary based on her sexuality!

Wow, I've missed so many issues since last time. I intend on making up on that and reporting to you whatever disaster the DC writers came up with [although I've heard that one of the recent issues had BM without her clothes once again. We'll see whether it's true]
