So, just found out that in issue 29, Bigby burns Greenleaf's tree without any hesitation whatsoever....so far, besides giving Faith money, none of the comic's choices here are similar to my choices. Seriously, are they trying to make Bigby really unlikable in this comic? The whole point of Bigby's character arc in the Wolf Among Us was that he was a terrible monster who is hated and feared by everybody and you can play him as a man who is trying to change his way and gain redemption or basically the same Bigby from the past who wants to do whatever the hell he wants. But here, they make Bigby into a villain more than an anti-hero. What the fuck? COME ON! I knew this would be a problem from the moment they said go, and boy was I right. The story is, as you said, either attempted redemption, or unwillingness to change, this is just straight up being the bad guy. Like I said a month ago, unless Crooked Man is literally Fable Hitler, he will look like the good guy! I'm just getting these to see what they're gonna do after TWAU. Back at the Vertigo panel I attended at NYCC, they confirmed that they would write a few chapters that take place after Ep. 5.

What they did to Bloody Mary is UNFORGIVABLE! Please, please tell me they are done with fucking up one of the best characters?

Alright, the most recent issue is actually a more or less faithful recreation of the game - Bigby and Snow find Crane. The only change is that Bigby is not that defensive when Snow says that Crane can't be the killer and agrees after a while and Crane's talk about Snow's possible problems after taking over deputy's duties is removed. Oh, and Vivian acts like a complete bitch.
Also, the issue features TWO continuity errors: - everyone knows who Vivian is, despite the fact that it's her first appearance and she was never properly introduced before - this will definitely confuse people who read the story for the first time; - even though Crane does mention something about the spell (just like in the game) and Vivian asks "If this walking penis didn't kill Lily and Faith, then who did?", Bigby... asks Vivian in return who put the ribbons on them that keep the girls from talking. It was never brought up earlier and Bigby - without any explanation whatsoever - immeditaly knows that. Seems strange, especially since we know that he didn't discover that until Episode 4.
Also, Mary's story is coming to a close - she died 'as a person', but her reflection lives, and - as she explains it herself - her mortal form was weak, because she was nice, but the refelection represent everything that was evil in her.
BTW, she also kills her child (the kid looks like its made of glass and she shatters it).

So, the Bloody Mary from TWAU is just a clone of her original self?...and child...ugh.
Well, atleast Bigby isn't acting like a total idiot when he still believed that Crane killed the girls.
And I predict that Bigby will kill Tweedle Dum without a shadow of doubt.

Which in my opinion is the complete wrong choice that they hope you make because of how psyched up you are after being so badass.

Quick update:
- the fight that occurs at the end of Episode 3 is adapted, but it's completely awful - the bits with Bigby fighting Tweedles are heavily reduced and instead we see Snow and Mary arguing; - Bigby turns into half-wolf because, as we're told from his internal monologue, he was trying to protect Snow; - Bigby doesn't kill Dum, but only because Snow intervenes; - Mary states that Bluebeard set Crane's apartment on fire, because Crooked Man ordered him to do so; - Mary's backstory is resolved - she kills the man in the mirror (by sticking glass into his... ekhm... nevermind). Also, remember when several issues ago Mary shattered her glass baby? Well, she took the pieces of it and stuck them into her body (thus making her unglamoured form known from the game).

Really shocking when I found out that he doesn't kill Dum after all that he has done in the comic(ripping off Gren's arm, arresting Woody, setting Greenleaf's tree on fire).
And it looks like Bluebeard was connected to the Crooked Man after all, which might explain why he desperately wanted the Crooked Man to be thrown down the well during his trial and immediately rejected the idea of him being imprisoned.
