I'm moderately surprised Kohatu isn't a ship after what I remember from the books, but then again the Bionicle fandom is relatively sensible compared to some. The most common ships I've seen are Tapaka, VaNokama, Hahller, Ponua, and Lewa X Takanuva (Can't think of a good name for that.) Hewkii & Macku is the one I'll ever accept. Then again it's canon - in G1 at least - that Matoran/Toa etc can't actually experience love. |

Jaller & Hahli was the only I remembered from when before I heard about the reboot. Anyway, saw some people on Tumblr about shipping Popaka/Kohatu. I think I found that part from the book.   |

Wait...All of these sets save for Mask Maker VS Skull Grinder have one of the Toa's Golden Masks. Skull Slicer has Lewa's, Skull Scorpio has Pohatu's, and Skull Warrior/Crusher has Onua's. Are these supposed to be their rivals, or maybe even the actual Toa turned evil by the Mask of Ultimate Power?

Season 1 of the web series is now complete, with Season 2 starting in July to promote the Summer sets. Unfortunately, the last five episodes are only in Italian, so I'll be providing translations to each episode. (Narrator)All 6 heroes have found their shrines. Pohatu, Kopaka, Lewa, Gali, Onua, and Tahu. Protectors led them wisely, but time was running... Skull spiders started attack and Protectors didn't stand a chance.
(PoF:) "Fulfill the prophecy! The time has come!"
(Narrator)Elemental energy completely filled Tahu's body.
(PoF:) "Escape Tahu! It's too late for me!"
(Tahu:) "No! It's not too late yet! Because I am Master of Fire! Aaaaah!"
(Narrator) The golden masks gave them the powers of elements to defeat Skull Spiders. Amazing powers have been unleashed!
(Narrator:)Heroes showed their merits, and have been filled by the powers of all elements. Ice, Water, Jungle, Earth, Stone and Fire.
(Tahu:) "I feel amazing power! I can even hear voices from great distance!"
(PoF) "Don't be a fool! It's coming from your mask! It's voice of Ekimu, the maker of masks! He's calling you!"
(Tahu:) "Why? I thought it's over now!"
(PoF:) "You just did the first step! The true quest is before you! And I can't guide you!"
(Tahu:) "Wait, it's not only a voice, I can even see something! A beautiful city, but in ruins! Something horrible happened there and something even worse is going to happen! Should I go to find Mask Maker alone?"
(PoF:) "Nobody can do it alone. There are 6 elements controled by 6 heroes. Let the mask lead you. Hurry! The evil is becoming stronger!"
I haven't found a translation for the opening monologue, but everything else is here.
Tahu: "Hello. I am Tahu, Master of Fire! The prohecy has made me the leader of you all!"
Kopka: "What?! Has the fire burnt your mind? I am Kopaka! and I am leaded by no one!"
Gali: "Stop it!"
Onua: *Laughs* "Stop battling you two, we will still need a leader though."
Gali: "So let's vote."
Lewa:" I vote Onua, he knows how to get people by their heads!"
Pohatu: "Enough, we seem to have company..."
Tahu: Who is that..."thing"?
Pohatu: The Lord of the Skull Spiders, we can't be faster than him.
Kopaka: Stay cool, I can freeze that insect.
Lewa: Pff,you're too slow Kopaka
Gali: The water will take him away.
Tahu: Leave that to the Master of Fire.
Onua: We have to act together!
Narrator: The six heroes joined together and attacked like they were a single force.
Tahu: Onua, NOW!!!
Gali: We've done it!! If they join together,the masks have the power to defeat evil!
Narrator: The Lord of Skull Spider...was finally defeated.
Pohatu: Who know how it was here once.
Tahu: Shh, quiet! I can hear that strange voice in my head,again!
Ekimu: I am Ekimu,the mask maker.You all have shown great courage,you're heroes! But now,you all must hurry,and find the place where i rest!
Gali: We must find Ekimu before the evil returns.
Lewa: Finding something among this ruins is like trying to find a needle in a haystack!
Onua: The masks will lead us!
Pohatu: I don't like this place...there's something bad here.
