Just another man jealous of another man's beauty so he has to lash out. Ugh, so ugly.

Asher's plotline is the biggest pain in the ass to replay, especially the Meereen stuff in ep4

Disagree. Mira's is the worst to replay. Mira's episode 3 definitely, but in 4 & 5 she barely gets any content so it's easier to ignore.

Eh, still, it's always disappointing when it fades to black and goes to King's Landing. Even when she has less screen time, I just can't wait for her bits to end to get back to Rodrik/Asher/Gared.

The real problem with Mira's story I think is the lack of stakes as far as choices go. Like, when the story needs Mira to be on top, she's going to succeed no matter what choices you make, and when the story needs her to fail, you're going to fuck up no matter your choices. That's the case pretty much all of the time, but more so with Mira because the whole thing is that it's high stakes in a game of politics... and the tension is drained when your choices mean nothing. Not even a difference in how you'll fail/succeed.
Like, compare it to the choice to stay down or stand up to Gryff. Nothing really changes, but characters will treat you different and you get to decide if your version of Rodrik is restrained and smart or emotional and prideful. It's a good choice even if it changes basically nothing. Compare that with the choice to give your loyalty to Cersei or Margaery. You piss off both of them either way and it doesn't really end up saying anything about Mira because both choices can be read as smart/rebellious and in fact both are treated as such. It literally doesn't matter.

Not even a difference in how you'll fail/succeed. The Ep1 Cersei scene is the perfect example. I mean, it might be Cersei who's known to be a colossal bitch, but no matter what you do she either criticises you for being too bold or for sucking up to her or Margaery too much.
