What are your games of the year? Which game did you play this year that impressed you? Well for me, it's been a relatively quiet year, I have played quite a few games, but not as much as the past couple of years. Games that really struck my memory are: - Tomb Raider
- Walking Dead Season 2
- Wolf Among Us
- Hearthstone
- Pokemon X (okay, it was released 2013, but I played it this year)
- Pokemon Alpha Sapphire
- Last Of Us (okay, it was released 2013, but I played it this year)
If I had to choose one, my GOTY would probably be Last of Us or Pokemon X.

The Wolf Among Us Super Smash Bros Wii U The Last Of Us Remastered Metro 2033 (it's been out ages, but I only played it this year) The Binding Of Isaac Rebirth Town of Salem
Rambo The Video Game
If I had to choose one probably it'd be either TWAU or Smash
And the fact that TLOU is on my game of the year list 2 years in a row is pretty depressing.

Take a look at the crap that's released these days and TLOU deserves 2 years in a row.

TWAU TFTBL Bioshock Infinite: Burial At Sea (Mostly part 2 though. Also not sure if this really counts as a game.) FN@F and FN@F 2 Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Technically came out in 2012 in Japan, but came out here in March 2014. Also there are some annoying plot holes but idgaf) Gyakuten Kenji 2 / Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth: Prosecutor's Path (Came out in 2011 in Japan, never officially released outside of Japan but a fanmade English patch came out this year. That counts, right?)

There weren't too many games that interested me this year. I'm playing the shit out of Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. This or TWAU is goty for me. I also liked South park: the stick of truth.
From the older games that I've only started playing this year, I loved Metro 2033 and Xcom:enemy unknown.

I've let my love for TLoU Remastered and it's frame rate known so I'll change it up and say TWAU.
Thought I played a lot more this past year. Guess it was all older games.

Game was really fun, it felt just like an episode of the show.

I don't have one, it'll probably be TLOU remastered when I get that with six days of the year left. Two years in a row.

Can a remaster really be GOTY? I mean come on people... TLOU is better than pretty much all of the games I've played this year, so yeah. The remaster was released in 2014, it's valid.

I don't know, to me anyway, expansion packs and re releases can't be GOTY, if that was the case, then when they release Grim Fandango again, then it's GOTY, if they release Infinite again, its GOTY, Master Chief Collection must be game of this generation because it's four games released at once! And I do love DLC, I mean good god, a highlight of my gaming LIFE was Burial at Sea part 2, but it's my GOTY, because it can't be, neither was X-Com Enemy Within even though it was badass, but that is how I see things, you can see it in a different light.
