So...... The guy in the armor looked like Rodrik, to me at least. I'm calling it now that Rodrik was maybe just taken captive, Gared didn't really, you know, stick around, and the thing that "killed" him was a horse falling on him. Which, could definitely have killed him, but the silhouette REALLY looks like him to me.
My guess is that he was captured, and at the beginning of the next episode, he escapes, makes his way back to Ironrath, and that's where we'll get an Ironrath POV from. Because really, I can't see who else it could be. Obviously not Talia or Elissa, unless they are going to introduce new playable characters, and by 5 playable characters, they meant five to start with.... which doesn't make sense, we were given 3 to start with.
So... yeah, definitely saying that Rodrik is still alive. The "Next time" segment pretty clearly showed that Talia is to take Ethan's place as player character. That would be cool if Asher was the one to take the Ironrath POV, though.

So can we have confirmation of Melissa or Erin voicing a character in this game now that people have played it? Neither of them voiced a character. Mira, who was thought to be voiced by Melissa Hutchison, was actually voiced by Martha Mackintosh.Wait, Martha Mackintosh, as in, like, related to Louisa Mackintosh (AKA Sarah)?

Seems like Asher will get around to coming back and taking the place as Lord or something. Maybe.

It's really a shame that Asher can't kill the everloving shit out of Ramsay. I'll settle for lord Whitehill.

I'm actually betting on Rodrik not being dead. We're going to have to have an Ironrath perspective, and that silhouette really looks like him. I'm going to go ahead and say he was probably captured, and by the beginning of the next episode, he'll escape, and that's where we'll get out Ironrath perspective. I actually really enjoyed that, and I love the art style now, the feel that it gives everything. I'd give it a... hell, a 10/10 probably. I mean, that's what I rated Tales from the Borderlands, and I like this about as much as I liked Tales. I'd honestly say that The Wolf Among Us is looking like it's going to be my least favorite Telltale Game soon(I still think it's great, but both Tales and GoT had awesome premiere episodes, and I'm really looking forward to the rest of the Season, for both). Was not at all prepared for the ending... or the opening, to be honest. I felt like it balanced the action all right. I doubt Ethan is determinant, is he? Has anyone found this out yet? Or, maybe if "Ludd" is less of a fucking asshole if I legitimately don't attack first? Because, I did draw my(not really mine) sword. I doubt that as well. Still, I liked going around and talking to people as Ethan, the bit where I was confronting Cersei was pretty intense. I found myself a little unhappy with Tyrion though. Every time I said something, he was like, "Clever girl, she seems to talk without actually giving answers". Of the characters we've seen so far, Gared is probably my favorite. I liked Talia, too, and Duncan. Choices: Left Bowen - I felt it was more important to warn Gregor, simply put. Did not expect him to die right then though. Swore loyalty to Margaery - I was trying to be... a little deceptive, but at that point, I really just didn't want to do what Cersei wanted... Freed Erik - I can see why he would do something like that, he had a family, and he was, mostly, justified. Picked Duncan as Sentinel - Royland seems way to aggressive, it seemed like he was going to get everyone killed. Met Ramsay in the Great Hall - .................

It would seem odd then, that the last silhouette still looks like, to me, Rodrik. Ethan was no longer on the main menu screen after the episode, and the one silhouette was shown to be Asher, so it clearly changed after the episode ended. If Talia is to replace Ethan as a playable character, then why wouldn't they show her, or at least another silhouette? I think it's quite possible that Talia will be the POV character for Ironrath, but I'm still betting on Rodrik being alive.

Can you not just discuss it in the Ep. 1 thread? Or at least have someone move this stuff there? Eh, might as well winebottle the episode before I end up getting spoiled here. Sick of your shit, Telltale.

Okay, so I've already said, I think the last silhouette looks like Rodrik, but what does everyone else think?

If and when Asher becomes a playable character, I'm going to play him with so much rage. At best, I was firm in episode 1. At worst, I was neutered.

I can't wait until we get to play Asher in Episode 2. I wonder if he'll actually even go back to Westeros, considering Daenerys is quoted on two episode slides.

Yeah, honestly I thought that Rodrik might be alive but I didn't really hope for it because he didn't say a damn word so IDGAF. He only got stabbed in the knee and a horse fell on him, so.......... ?

-snip- Like I said to Jayk, I'm absolutely sure that Asher would come back before Rodrik would. Besides, didn't Rodrik get stabbed in the motherfucking throat? Also, the trailer pretty much confirmed that Talia will be the POV for Ironrath

A horse falling on someone could easily kill them, but the silhouette really does look like him, and they clearly showed Gregor being stabbed, where they decided to kill Rodrik by having that horse fall on him. I figure they did that on purpose.

I didn't know about the silhouette thing, but that silhouette doesn't look like Rodrik to me. I think the Ironrath POV has to be Asher then, since the messenger could be sent to him. Perhaps it passes time with Gared, and we spend a month of time with him, then it switches back over to Ironrath as Asher either comes led by Malcolm, or on his own after hearing news of Gregor and Rodrik.
