We have Ulman from 2033 (Brotato) and Ulman from Last Light (Me), and Pika appears to be Pavel? Polis The Forum is ours, it's only a matter of time. My avatar is Artyom, also LL Ulman looks fucking badass. Unfortunately Ulman is hardly in Last Light at all. He appears in the first chapter and the last, and that's it. Fortunately, there's a DLC called the Chronicle's Pack where you get to actually PLAY as Ulman for a mission. So that makes up for it a little.

I'm your biggest nightmare, I'm the one who haunts your dreams. Your sanity will be drained if you won't stop. You're no nightmare. I've been preparing for this day for longer than you can imagine. Your hope of survival is slim. Your chances of victory non-existent. That's the problem, you were preparing too long. I've evolved, for a single purpose of destroying you. Your plans won't bring you anything but certain doom. My avatar is Artyom, also LL Ulman looks fucking badass. Unfortunately Ulman is hardly in Last Light at all. Yeah, I'll buy redux when I'll get enough money. I'm gonna buy the Redux Pack when I can. Also, fun Metro related fact: Ulman is the only character who has the same voice actor in both games. That makes him even cooler than he already was.

So just a heads up, this weekend the Metro Redux Bundle (With both 2033 Redux and Last Light Redux) is going to be on sale on Steam. The pack is currently only $16.99, so... yeah. Fucking awesome deal.

Just picked up the Redux pack on Steam for 50% off. Now all I have to do is wait for my new gaming PC to arrive, and I'll delve back into the Metro.

So, playing 2033 Redux right now, and I have to say it's pretty awesome. Several of the levels have been combined to keep the pace up, like Bourbon and Artyom's journey to Market Station for example. In 2033 that was three separate levels, but now it's all one, which made it seem longer, actually, but in a good way because the journey was much more intense without those tiny breaks between chapters. Characters who appear in Last Light (Khan, Miller, Ulman) have had their models updated to match their appearances from Last Light, which I felt was a good move. Speaking of models, there are more than just a select few faces for NPC, so the Metro stations seem a lot more diverse than they used to. They also put in a couple new surprises that weren't in the original, so expect to be taken off guard by a few situations even if you've played 2033 before. Pavel, for those of us who remember him, actually has a face now, and doesn't keep that concealing visor on which I also think was a nice touch.
About the only thing I have issue with is the voice actors. It's not a huge gripe, but it still kind of irks me. They had the guy who voiced Artyom in Last Light go back and voice Artyom for the Redux as well, but a few other characters (most noticeably Miller) didn't get this treatment, and still have their old voice, which is especially jarring for characters who were given a complete overhaul in both appearance and voice in LL. In my opinion they should have gone all the way if they were going to do it at all, but maybe this is me just nitpicking.
Haven't completed it yet, but so far I love it.

I'm gonna get myself LL for Christmas, only for console. My pc could barely run 2033. I saw parts of 2033 redux on youtube and it looked really great, I'll get that too if I'mm find a good prize.
