So I was content to let this thread die and just wither away in a ditch outside some gaming graveyard until the roadkill guys scraped it up and threw it in the back of a garbage truck or something, but (Miraculously) PAYDAY 2 just received its 100th Update. I'd still be content to let this thread and the game continue to decay in its own misery... but they actually took out the microtransactions (Took'em long enough), which... I think is actually pretty great. They actually listened to the community (Granted, after A LOT of strife) and now all those dumb safes with their dumb skins that you had to open with a dumb drill (That cost money)? As of the next update any that drop can be opened totally for free. Any safes currently in the wild, well, you still gotta pay to open them, which sucks shit, but at least they've finally done something. And one last thing... They still do the live action trailers (Which I actually kinda like) and released one, a teaser for something they'll reveal at E3. My thoughts? The new heister is none other than MOTHERFUCKING FRANCIS FROM LEFT 4 DEAD. And the information they say he has? THE NO MERCY HEIST! THE BEST HEIST IN VIDEO GAME HISTORY IS BACK, BITCHES!*

I've had Payday 2 uninstalled since last year. If they do add Francis in, I'll redownload it without a second doubt.

Also Payday 3 was confirmed with literally no other information about it. Might mean Overkill's TWD will come soon, despite the fact that we've seen almost nothing of it.

Well, looks like now might be a good time for me to reinstall. I'm still not going to forget their super-dickery, but I can forgive them.  It's kind of strange seeing my last played as last August. When I think of the last time I played PD2, it really doesn't feel that long ago, but when I think about last August... that feels like forever ago. |

In a twitch AMA they said they're adding 2 more PD:TH heists, both of which are highly requested on the Steam forum, so it's even more likely that No Mercy (and also Francis too pls) will be added since that's like all anyone talks about on there when it comes to original heists. Because No Mercy was literally the peak of the first Payday. Intense, great stealth OR action, and quite possibly the best video game crossover I've ever seen. I mean, you could meet fuckin' BILL in the elevator before the heist, AND the heist is what ends up starting the outbreak in Left 4 Dead. Great shit. |

I forgot how shite the community was in this, first 3 games I join just fail to connect, 4th game I get kicked for straight up no reason, 5th game the dude I'm playing with is a hacker so I leave.... Yeah I think I'll just wait until some of you guys decide to play before I do.
