The janitors are still out there, so I wonder what's going to happen with them. Perhaps Manny or Evan start getting close to the Janitors, and then the Janitors manipulate the fans into attempting to kill them? The Fans want to emulate Jacket, after all, and if they got one of the infamous phonecalls...

I'm more hoping that even if Manny dies, then Evan can expose 50 Blessings? I mean... they can't just get away with it by the end. And like they told Biker in the alternate timeline at the end of HM1, killing them would do nothing. They need to be exposed.

Yeah... I doubt things are going to go well for Manny(I believe that that was the Detective's name). I kind of hope that they do run into each other. Kind of have our loyalties divided as the player. Though.... Considering what was seen of the Fans, I don't think people will have much sympathy for them. Also, just by the fact that Evan isn't a brutal murderer, you know he's fucked. Nice guys finish last. I do wonder what will happen to Jacket. It seems like as Evan and Manny, we'll get to see parts of his trial... At a guess, he gets the death sentence or something. I mean, even though he was such a brutal killer, I do feel some sympathy for him.... For one, he was killing mobsters, to start with, and he was manipulated. Later, after his run in with Richter, he was brain damaged, and his girlfriend had been killed. He was used, pretty much. I think that having Manny kill one of The Fans first (Maybe one of the twins?) and seeing the other Fans get sad and pissed off enough to brutally murder him would alleviate that one sidedness a bit. Presenting them as humans who care about each other, despite being fucked up murderers, could work if they did it right. I think he might survive just by virtue of writing a book about the entire incident. I don't know why, but him trying to tell the story makes it seem as if he'll make it to the end (Though certainly not untouched). Jacket probably will get the death penalty, unless something happens to interrupt the trial. Maybe he'll get a lesser sentence if Manny and Evan can dig up proof of the existence of the Janitors, but if the trial goes through the Jacket is pretty much done for. Kinda strange, really, since we saw him murder people by the hundreds in the first game. If he cared about his freedom/life, why wouldn't he murder his way out of the courtroom? Maybe he's looking to atone for the things he did? I think the first comic gave a pretty good insight on his thought process by the end of HM1. He's okay with it ending there. There's nothing more for him in life, and he did all he could. For Jacket, it's the end. Perhaps since Evan is writing the book, he'll be there when Jacket is executed(I'm almost positive that this will be the case). That would be sad, honestly.... Yeah, I'm looking forward to some sort of confrontation between Manny and the Fans. Another thing I'm actually looking forward to is seeing all the stuff before or during HM1. Particularly the Soldiers(who, I believe are probably the original founders of 50 Blessings).

That's about the only bearing that Vietnam could have on the game's main storyline. I'm most interested in Jake during the pre/during HM1 time period since we saw what happened to him. I wanna see how he got there and how he died.

I honestly think that Hotline Miami would translate pretty easily into a movie. The insane number of fan made films shows that people want it. And some of them are quite good, too. I honestly think it would make for a better movie than a lot of games, even some that are currently being made into movies.
Speaking of which, I found another fan made film. I actually really like most of these(haven't watched this one yet, though):

Then again, Drive is already pretty close to what "Hotline Miami: The Movie" would be.

I mean, not many of the characters from Hotline Miami are, but still. Richter is a little more ambiguous.

So, I guess this is Dennaton's way of dealing with the whole "sexual violence" controversy that got the game banned in Australia.
"We are aware of the recent report published by the Australian Classification Board in regards to Hotline Miami 2 and have been in communication with them. As such, we and Dennaton Games would like to clarify a few things:
First, to clear up any possible misconceptions, the opening cinematic that was first shown in June of 2013 has not changed in any way. We also want to make clear that players are given an choice at the start of the game as to whether they wish to avoid content that alludes to sexual violence. The sequence in question is presented below in context, both after choosing the uncut version of the game and after choosing to avoid content that alludes to sexual violence.
Second, in response to the report itself, we are concerned and disappointed that a board of professionals tasked with evaluating and judging games fairly and honestly would stretch the facts to such a degree and issue a report that describes specific thrusting actions that are not simply present in the sequence in question and incorrectly portrays what was presented to them for review.
Though we have no plans to officially challenge the ruling, we stand by our developers, their creative vision for the storyline, its characters and the game and look forward to delivering Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number to fans very soon."

This is fucking amazing. Also, I find it pretty interesting that in Fan-Art, Jacket almost always looks the same, despite us never seeing his face.

There's a surprising amount of fan-art for the Ninja Girl. I wonder if we'll see her again in Wrong Number(as in, as part of the plot taking place before/during HM1).
