I got a warm feeling of Luke being a Lee or Kenny character in this season. I think Luke will be saving Clem from alot of situations in future episodes.
When he gave Clem some food in the cabin I had the widest smile on my face. He also seem sympathetic and caring for Clementine, after hearing her story about some of the events in Season One.

Yeah, If Pete doesn't make it, he can be Lee and Omid put together; He's got the caring and funny personality of Omid, but is constantly protective of Clem like Lee.

I'm more inclined to side with Luke than with anyone else. He's the only group member I owe anything to (other than Pete, and he's probably on his way out).
He's a sympathetic character, like Clem, he lost his parents too (he says he lost his folks if Clem says her parents died. Its most likely that he meant his parents and possibly siblings, I doubt he had any kids).
He's the only member of the Cabin who doesn't have a family member with them (Nick and Pete, Carlos and Sarah, Alvin and Rebecca). He has no visible reason to keep on living, and he does.
He had no reason whatsoever to save my life, and he did.
He was the one who picked me up and carried me out of the forest.
He was the one who I appealed to, and he backed me up and argued that it was a dog bite in front of the group.
He gave me food, even though Clem gave him the cold shoulder after the cabin.
He offered to let me stay at the cabin with his group, and clearly said everyone else would just have to deal with it.
He had zilch motivation to do any of these things, yet he still did them. I owe him my life. Unless he decides to just start randomly killing people, I've got his back.

Sounds like we got another father figure emerging... Only to get killed in later episodes though.
Telltale know we'll like this guy, and they try to make us to. Only to kill our hearts later, perhaps in Episode Four when everything looks as bad as it can get.

Yep, he is either going to be like Kenny, there is going to be a choice and some still like him while others hate him, or he just flat out dies, also am I the only one that thinks that Kenny's death, the maybe he lived death, will never happen again for these new characters?

It might for a few. You could argue that's what happened to Nick if you save Pete., but nowhere nearly as epic or likely that he's dead.
It'll be a sad day when Luke dies.
I'm actually going to use my 4th save slot as a side with Luke play through, which at the rate things are going, will be near identical to my cannon.

Yep, it was not even close to being as epic, in fact out of all the times this happened in the Walking Dead series, comic, show, and game, Kenny's was by the far the most epic, and yes, we will have a official morning day for Luke when he dies, come to think of it, WE NEED TO MORN OMID! Everytime someone from season 1 dies, we morn them on the forum.

Or anyone we like for that matter.
Proposal: December 20th will be Omid day on the forums. The background image will be changed to Omid.

Agreed, if Kenny shows up, its Kenny day no matter how it goes.

Another reason to support Luke: If you listen in to the meeting in the cabin, he argues that Clem isn't working with Carver.

I never heard the whole conversation, I really should replay just to hear it, and the hidden conversation.

Yeah, they talk about choosing whether to keep Clem or not, in which Pete and Luke side with Clem, Carlos is leaning towards keeping her, Alvin is neutral, and Nick and Rebecca want to throw her out, which ended up making me save Pete over him.

But Nick does change his mind I am sure, Rebecca, not so much.
