Back in episodes 1 and 2, it felt like they were going to do a lot with Carver but his storyline ended in episode 3 and after that, the Carver plot was replaced by the baby storyline and the Kenny going crazy plot.
I feel like they should of done more with Carver, like not kill him off in episode 3 and then him coming back at the end of episode 4 with his crew(including Vince, Wyatt, Russell, Shel and Becca), attacking the group and wanting the baby, atleast it wouldn't feel so random like with Arvo and the russians. And of course, he meets his demise in episode 5.
But, then again, this is just my opinion. What do you guys think? Do you think that they should of done more with Carver in this season or you are perfect with how his story ended?
Apparently we were originally supposed to get even less of Carver. Watched a video on IGN the other of the 5 Things You Didn't Know about The Walking Dead: Season 2 and one of them was that Carver was always going to be the villain, but he had a limited amount of lines and screen time. It wasn't until Telltale heard how great Michael Madsen was that they added more. They loved how sinister and powerful he sounded or something like that. Makes me wonder if they made Carver more deranged in In Harm's Way just because they thought Michael Madsen could nail it. That would suck to be the case. The voice actor should complement the character, not the other way around.

He should've lived up to episode 4 or 5. Russians were just too random, it would've worked better with Carver's crew attacking the group. But my biggest problem with Carver is he was totally different in episdes 2 and 3. From an interesting, morally grey villain, he just became a guy we are supposed to hate, because there is nothing good left about him.

Although I'm content with How his story ended, I've got an idea for how if he lived past Ep. 3.
So instead of Kenny bashing his face in, maybe he'd pull a Michonne and gouge his eye out with the crowbar. Everyone would assume he's dead, and episodes 4 and 5 would play normally, only Luke and Bonnie would survive up until the truck scene. While they are all driving, a truck stops them in their path. Luke goes out to see what's going on, and then Carver emerges accompanied by Tavia and other guards (maybe 400 Days characters) and they all gun down Luke. Jane, Clem, Kenny, and Bonnie would all get separated during the fight, with Jane taking AJ. Clem and Carver would fight in the restroom, where she kills him by stabbing him repeatedly with a glass shard. Kenny then comes to check on him, followed by Jane, and the two get into a fight like the normal episode. After the fight, Clem and the survivor find Bonnie with the baby, and they head to either Howe's Wellington, or the field.

I'm alright with it. I think he was more of a symbol, or a mark of Clementine's past. Even though he didn't live that long he was meant to show things. Most of what he says kind of reflects on the game, and how things are. He gives you a different perspective of survival, and I think he was kind of like the Chuck of the game but the opposite view of things. So I actually think it wasn't a bad idea to kill him off.
