I still think that, as a whole, I liked the game, it's just.... there's a lot of things I didn't like, too.

Gotta ask... Did you guys try to get with Delilah? On the first night of the June Fire I side-stepped most of the romantic tension. Then in the last scene, I told her she should come to Boulder. Sorry, Dementia Wife. Yeah I played them up since then. Thought that it was time for Henry to move on from Julia.

Just finished it. Don't have a lot to say except for the fact that it was pretty mediocre. The visuals were amazing, but the story didn't really entice me at all. Delilah and Henry's relationship was the key point of the whole game, and it was really disappointing that you don't get to see her at the end no matter what choices you take talking with her.
I don't think there's much replay value either. Even though it only took me about 5 hours to complete it, I'm not going to come back to the game anytime soon. And when I do, it'll just be because of the visuals.
It felt like Campo Santo was just 'experimenting' for their first game. Oh well. I just owed it to Jake and Sean to check this out because of their writing on TWD1.

Yeah. I guess I was letdown in the relationship aspect too. We were supposed to build this great relationship with Delilah when really it was just her asking you about your life, you answering, her divulging a tiny bit about her life and then a bunch of sarcasm in between.
At least Wyoming looked like the titty tits?

Just finished it, took me like 4 hours and it has 0 replay value, seems like £15 is a bit much for it, though I did just like exploring and looking at shit the story was a bit pish. It was a 6/10 for me.

One thing that felt like a letdown was the beginning of the game was so unique and well-done. The simple texts and choices coupled with the beautiful music... Immediately got you invested in Henry. Then nothing really topped it. I wish there were more quick days like the sleepwalking night and the first night of the June Fire. Relationship needed just a little bit more.

Bursting onto the scene without a word, tossing the boombox into the lake and running away is such a savage move.

I agree with this completely. Those were really the three stand-out moments of the game. I think, for me, finding Brian's fort was another pretty good moment, but it doesn't really come close to those other three. Also, I kind of set the opening and the sleep-walking parts a little bit ahead of the first night of the fire, simply because I felt that that was one of the few times that the game actively pushed for the romantic relationship between Henry and Delilah, and I didn't end up making choices towards that. Still an excellent moment.

Not sure if this will be a controversial opinion, but I think that the hiking could have been cut down significantly. I mean, I explored a bit, not a whole lot, so maybe if I embraced it and explored a lot more I'd feel differently, but for me, I felt like it just broke up the story. Since it's already a slow paced story with a lot of quiet moments aside from hiking, the hikes through the woods just made the pacing unbearably slow.
They either should have in some way made exploring more central(I felt like it wasn't since aside from the bit after you take the supplies, you're constantly following the story, and it felt like exploring intruded on the story), or just cut it down a little bit to keep the pacing of the story up. Still slow, but not constantly interrupted.

Still slow, but not constantly interrupted. The hiking was the main thing that kept me playing honestly, there was just something relaxing and fun about exploring. Although I do think it should have added a bit more to it to make it more... involved? Not entirely sure how they'd do it, but it'd make it feel way more important.

Delilah might as well have been all in Henry's head.
When that dialogue option came up, I suspected the game would have a cliche ending in which Delilah wasn't real, and it was all because of "Henry's desperation to let go off his past" or some shit like that.
Still wasn't satisfied by the real ending, though.

I enjoyed the hiking portions. I've always thought I'd enjoy real hiking, but I don't have the motivation to do it so e-hiking is nice alternative.
