I'm giving this a chance because I didn't give a shit about Fables, gave The Wolf Among Us a chance and loved it. I think you'll appreciate the humor. And the women.

Hm... *check watch* Nope. Still don't give a shit about this game. TKA, this is a thread for people who are looking forward to this game to talk about it with other people who are looking forward to this game. If you don't give a shit about it, then don't open the thread that is specifically about a game you couldn't care any less for. 'Kay.

Looking forward to both aspects, that's for sure. I want a good story too though. I don't need a Wolf Among Us mystery because the genre is obviously on opposite ends of the spectrum.... but from what I know about Borderlands 1 and 2, the actual story isn't that strong. I assume Borderlands works on the basis that it's a fun to play shoot-em-up game. A Telltale take on it obviously won't have that to fall back on. It needs to have a driving story that makes me want to buy the next episode and really, really, really, really needs to include choices that matter on top of being funny and alluring and interesting.

I assume they teamed up with Telltale for the story aspect, so I think that'll be shored up relatively well. They can't really rely on the outlandish combat gameplay in a point and click format, so there's that. As for the choices, they did say it's a story from each main character's point of view, so I'm not quite so sure our choices will have much effect, but I'm probably still buying the whole thing anyway. We're having a legitimate discussion not purely focused on sex? Incredible!

Forgive me, I'm just getting into this now. Missed all the updates, screens, characters, etc. given on this. And I know. It feels strange. This whole lull in between releases has really warped my mind.

Yeah... there is not much to the story, the first one barely even had one, the second one was better in that department, but it was not Bioshock or Walking Dead quality, it did have a good antagonist though.

I think it'll be interesting, but like I said, that description doesn't quite give me hope for weighted choices.

According to someone who played the demo, one of the choices you get is when Fiona interrupts Rhys telling his version of the story. You get a choice of four things to say what happens next, and whatever you say is where the story picks up. The person who played the demo said, "then the Vault Hunter showed up", and the story picks up with Zero appearing, which is where the demo ends.
So basically, both of our narrators/playable characters are lying, and the truth is found somewhere between their versions of the story. Our choices will change how the story is told.

Gonna be honest, that sounds fucking amazing, I also heard there was a choice to punch a guys heart out of his chest as Rhys.
