I don't think they could pull off a third Season if they made Clem the protagonist. Five different endings means five different openings to Episode 1, and we all know that TT can't do that. In order to go forward with the Season they'd have to bring Clem to the same point in all of them which completely invalidates whatever choices you made at the end of NGB. The only way to really go forward and see how your choices shaped Clem is to have a new protagonist with Clem involved at some point as an NPC. She definitely has to at least make an appearance (More than a tiny cameo or showing up like Roman did in All That Remains) but I think that having her be the protagonist again would be about the worst thing they could do. I agree, a third season being all about her is going to ruin the point of having five different endings, and we know Telltale can make great characters, I think it's fine, but why do I have a feeling most fans won't think that way, I got a feeling it could go the way of Halloween 3, which had nothing to do with the characters of the first two films because the director ended that story with 2, the fans hated it, so they brought back Michael Myers and that was a bad idea, I hope that doesn't happen here, please, Telltale your better then that!

The super Kenny fans vs. the anti-Kenny people thing is so ridiculously played out. Kenny returned. He was overused. His story was one of the strong points of season 2. Some will hate him because he literally stole the season, some will love him for whatever reasons they have. He's determinant. He's not going to last in season 3 if he appears at all. He'll die, he'll leave, he'll be raptured, he'll find a submarine and found a new age Atlantis, anything. Point is, he won't stick around. It's basically fact. One final summation: love, hate, overuse, best endings, determinant. Honest to god, I'm so tired of talking about Kenny. Can't disagree, I for one loved Kenny this season, but this is the end of his story, he is not going to be in season 3, I hope anyway, because if he does, then he will get Omided, and he, just like Omid, deserves a lot better then that, and hell, all his endings are better then what Omid got.

Whatever happens to Kenny in Season 2, he shouldn't be part of Season 3. Maybe if the new protagonist stumbles across Clem and Kenny out in the wilderness if the player picked the "Stay with Kenny" option in Season 2 (And even then it should just be a small conversation without Clem or Kenny joining the new group, instead going their separate ways) but in all other endings he shouldn't appear at all.

People want Clem to have a minor role in Season 3, if Clem went with Kenny, it stands to reason that Kenny would be there, too. That's all I'm asking for.

Well what would they do for the Clem stays ending? Because just saying it didn't work out would be a cop out.

Season three could wind up having Clem just joining the group (probably Wellington) at various points depending on the ending you got. She wouldn't play a major role until she was at the camp in all scenarios.
Example:
-If you entered Welintion, obviously Clementine would be there at the start of episode one. The PC would have a brief conversation with her, and maybe another kid. If Clementine wasn't there, he'd just have a brief conversation with the other kid. -If you left Wellington with Kenny, then Clementine would still be in Wellington in episode one, and we would later find out that she had been let in a few months later, but Kenny had been killed. - If you got the alone ending, Clementine will be in Wellington, because she decided to check up north once things got a bit warmer. She'll be there in episode one.
Now, here's for the challenge: The Howe's endings.
My take on it is that the Slowly building community at Howe's will get taken over by a much larger group, a large group of nomads who are kinda assholes, but not entirely. Very expansionist, and you don't really have a choice to join them or not, but they do take relatively good care of children. Kinda. I don't know the details.
Either way, the PC would wind up infiltrating this group at some point with some other people. I'm not sure of the exat reasoning, maybe to get some info on when they plan to attack Wellington. When you guys bust out, Clem would find you and ask what you're doing. When she realizes you're escaping, she'll ask to come with you. If you decide to be an absolute douche, someone else will override your choice and say she can come.
Either way, Clem would eventually wind up in Wellington.

I like it, but that still is going to piss people off, I still think the best idea is to start anew, with no Clementine, well, maybe small hints like what they did in 400 Days.

Can't we just have season 3 with no Clem at all? I wouldn't mind that.

Didn't they confirm she'd be in season 3 in some capacity? That's not happening.

But honestly, if that "capacity" is finding her dead/having her be an antagonist, I'd MUCH MUCH rather Clem not appear.

No, if there is anything I'm sure Telltale wouldn't do, it's that.

If she will be in season 3, I hope she will be a deuteragonist like in season 1 or just have a small role in the season and see how Clem acts with the protagonist depending on the choices from season 2 like if you played as good Clem or evil Clem. I will be ok with Clem being in season 3, but not as the PC because her being PC made the adults look like idiots who can't do anything on their own and always depend on Clem to do everything for them.

Didn't they confirm she'd be in season 3 in some capacity? That's not happening. When did they say that? Is it from the same Telltale people that said TV show characters would show up in season 2?
