lol, Anson is so fuckin' opinionated on Facebook. I think I've seen him fire off two or three apology statuses in the past. Upsetting some of those middle-aged white ladies that LOVE him. Guy's the man. Apology's for what?

Well for what it's worth, I like it, but knowing how vicious the show is, that won't last long.

Chang's a pretty good villain, but uh...
We've got "Dandy", The Swede, Campbell, and now Chang? Not a big fan of how many bad guys we've got running around this season...
I also really like Strobridge.

I think Strodbridge is safe, actually, since he was a real person. bushong.net/dawn/about/college/ids100/biographies.shtml (right down at the bottom, James Harvey Strobridge) Unfortunately, Chang was as well. ._. I'm banking on Tao and Fong dying, though. And Mickey and Pslams whenever we see them again.

I had no idea, that's really interesting, well good to know the one guy I am starting to gravitate to won't just end up dead two episodes later, but alas the bad guy won't either, but hey, gotta take what you get.

The severely frostbitten toes and the aftermath was one of the most disgusting thing that I've ever seen on AMC. Puke fucking city.
Can't say I saw that twist coming. Immediately makes me more interested in the Chinese element... but god damn do I miss Psalms, Mickey and Durant.
I don't understand The Swede. He's obviously still evil with sinister ulterior motives, but he disguises himself so well. Great actor, both the guy and the actual character.

I thought for a long while one of the characters was a woman, they eventually pointed out it was a man, I just threw up my hands and went with it. Then eventually they revealed it was a woman, and I don't act completely shocked. Funny, because the first words out of my mouth was not, "knew it!" It was, "Oh, so it's Mulan, okay."

Interesting, I'd looking forward to seeing how all this develops. And... is it just me, or does Mei talk better in English than she does as Fong? Just something I possibly noticed...? Also, I totally called it. In the beginning, I heard her talking and she sounded different than she had before, and that's really all it took for everything to click into place. And... does anyone know why she'd be coughing up blood?
It's great that The Swede is getting so much screen-time this season. I loved last season, but it was severely lacking in screen-time for The Swede. I mean, I guess they have to, given that we'll probably see Cullen and The Swede have their final confrontation this season.....
I'm honestly not sure what The Swede is doing right now. I mean, does he actually believe he's a prophet? He honestly believed that he was sent by God to save Cullen's soul last season, and that's how Cullen managed to make him reveal himself.... but this seems a little overboard, and what he was doing with the guns last episode... he has to have some other plans. I mean, he's done stuff like this before, pretending to be the Wendigo in Season Two, etc.
Strobridge continues to be a Fan-Favorite of mine, despite him being a racist, uncaring asshole. I don't know what it is, I just really like the guy.
And while I am very swiftly becoming invested in this whole story at Truckee, I really want to know what's going on with the power struggle between Mickey and Campbell back at Cheyenne. I mean, it's only been a month, it's possible that that whole thing hasn't concluded. Mickey brought "Dandy" and his gang in last season, and I really want them to follow up on that.
Also, just generally knowing what's been going on with Psalms and Eva and the rest. We saw that Durnat had those two(or was the woman not involved?) spies at the end of last episode, so maybe that's how they're going to try and connect it? Maybe Huntington will send Cullen back to Cheyenne for a bit to deal with Durant...? Either that, or they'll keep the storylines separate until the railroads meet up in Utah.

Interesting to see how things have been going at the Union Pacific. Mickey seems to be doing pretty well for himself, but I want to say right now that having Johnny as the foreman is going to end in disaster. I really like this new character, Mary, and I'm interested to see what happens with her. And... Can anyone remember what last happened with Louise in Season 4? Last we saw of her, she was still at the Cheyenne Tribune, and sleeping with Campbell. Now she's moved on with the railroad, and is a freelance writer? I mean, that makes sense... Obviously she wouldn't stay with the Cheyenne Tribune since she's following the railroad, and her relationship with Campbell was never going to stay strong. Also... maybe a random feeling that something's going to happen between her and Mary. The whole thing with the strike felt like a call back to the "old days", Cullen having the deal with a problem on the railroad.... Man, this show just always hits me in the feels even in the smallest ways. I legitimately miss all the old characters we;ve seen die or leave, and I always feel small pangs of sadness over it at the smallest things. I really miss the whole Cullen, Lilly, and Elam dynamic. And... I'm not crazy, the thing Mary found at the end of the episode was the same small tile or whatever it was that the one guy got in that scene with Chang and the other's sitting around in a circle? Where the woman was handing out those small tiles, and one was red? I'm really curious about what that whole thing is about. Based on the previews, it looks like there'll be some sort of confrontation with The Swede, and The Swede and Chang will team up..... I'm excited for that and dreading it in equal measures. This show really does have some fantastic villains.

I still love this song. This is the one that almost always played in scenes with Cullen and Lily, or some variation of it, anyway.
