It's a choice based horror game on PS4 that looks pretty good, although generally I'm not good with horror games I might need to give this ago.

Cool, I'm definitely getting a PS4 in November(Black Friday), so I may have to get this.

Also something pretty cool is there's 8 playable characters all of which can live or die depending on what choices you make.

I'm reminded of State of Decay, even though that is in now way a story game. But you can lose characters. Anyone can die. I actually managed to keep the three main characters alive throughout the entire campaign. Though, in Lifeline I just got the main character killed. And didn't Heavy Rain have something like that where any of the playable characters could die?

I finished it with everyone other than the fat police guy alive. (Major Spoilers) Since the fat guy is the killer.

I guess there's a Valentine's Day Trailer for this. For... some reason.
Still looking forwards to this.

Been looking forward to this since the VGA's back in December. Reminds me a lot of Beyond Two Souls in terms of gameplay, which I enjoyed. (Waiting for Bio to come and hate on David Cage...)

Your wish is granted, you just killed all the hype I had for this game in a single sentence with the naming of that person.

Got it. Seems like reviews for it are excellent. Got a 9.5/10 from Jim Sterling, and I tend to trust him.
Quote from his review: "Until Dawn is everything that Quantic Dream games have tried to be – unsuccessfully – for the past decade."

I'll be getting it tomorrow, and what I've seen from the first 30 minutes, it definitely looks like a game with actual MEANINGFUL CHOICES (Looking at you TWAU, GoT, and TWD S2...)

Kind of loving this game so far. So far my favorite characters are probably Chris, Ashley, and Sam. Least favorite would... definitely be either Emily or Jess... I definitely don't like Josh either. I'm interested to see how much your choices in the Dr. Hill segments affect the story... I mean, I only assume those bits are included to better fuck with you. Still.... the bit when it had you choose your favorite and least favorite characters concerned me... I didn't try to think of it in terms of trying to deceive the game, just answered honestly... I was honestly staring at the screen for more than 20 minutes trying to choose between Chris and Ashley, wondering if my choice would maybe get them killed. Something I did take issue with in on of those parts was when he was having you choose what you're more afraid of... It's entirely possible to not be scared of either. Like, between clowns and scarecrows, I'm not really scared of either, so I just went with scarecrow(because clowns are overdone, so if it means less clowns, then yes). Also, between gore and needles, I guess gore? And yeah, now in his office, there's a beating heart in a jar... and honestly, I don't care, because gore doesn't bother me, I'm just not scared of needles at all. I guess it identified spiders, scarecrows, and gore as the things I'm most afraid of, and only spiders is true(and yeah.... there've been freaky spider moments that probably wouldn't otherwise be there....) I've already gotten one character killed, and I'm kind of mad... I got Jess killed because I failed a QTE as Mike, and that pisses me off... Even though she was one of my least favorite characters, still, A QTE? It's even included in the butterfly effect menu.... I didn't make a choice there. I mean, yes, I chose the shortcut over the path, but I bet if I only chose the safe routes, she'd still have died.
