Y'Know, I just remembered something. didn't telltale say this game would be closer to the tv show then the comics? I was almost positive it's supposed to be canon to the comics. Considering we see comic Hershel and not TV Hershel in Episode One. That is, the skinnier, possibly younger, and more mentally unstable and angrier Hershel. NO; I mean, Telltale said the 2nd season would be closer to the TV series than the comic series and a lot of fans got disappointed. I haven't seen the TV series, so I'm not sure about it; but What if the large amount of pure DEATH is what they meant?

Y'Know, I just remembered something. didn't telltale say this game would be closer to the tv show then the comics? They could mean in terms of vibe rather than actual canon. It does feel a lot more like the TV series this season, kind of like the Terminus arc of Season 4 Part 2. this being exactly what I meant.

In the game, four people die every one episode, so I don't think it's that.

I'm finishing what I posted earlier. Spoiler tag for length and achievment name, descriptions, and images.
Blood And IronMade it out aliveThe achievement here is self explanatory. Clementine will survive the shootout. As for everyone else, that's another matter. will Mike will be fine. The baby will be fine. Bonnie will take a bullet somewhere. Luke will take a bullet to the shoulder. Arvo will take a bullet to his good leg. DEATH PREDICTION: Kenny will die at the very start of the episode. You'll get an emotional death scene with him as he bleeds out, where he apologizes for some of his actions, wishes he could have done better, you know the works. Furthermore, All of the "nameless" Russians will die.CHOICE PREDICTION: [Shoot Kenny] or [Ask Luke to shoot Kenny]. After Kenny dies, you won't want to let him turn. You can either do it yourself or let Luke do it for you. Right after that, we talk to Arvo. At this point all, of the other survivors are dealing with some level of shock over killing someone. They probably won't want to kill anyone else if they can avoid it. Except for Clementine. She has never killed anybody in a firefight before. Not like this. And she lost her only connection to the past group. CHOICE PREDICTION: [Execute Arvo] or [Walk Away] fairly self explanatory here. It should be clear that this is in no way, shape or form a mercy kill. This is an execution, plain and simple After that whopper of a start, on to the next achievement: Miles To GoTook a breatherAll of you will stop in the snow under the cover of some trees, and discuss what the hell to do now. You'll have looted the Russians bodies at this point, so the group will have slightly better weapons now. Eventually, they will all agree to head up to Wellington. Nothing really major happens here, other than some reactions to how you handled Arvo. Next achievement: Right Of FrostStopped for the nightWhat little is left of the group heads inside an old car repair shop, or any building with a solid concrete floor that a fire can go on. A fire starts (maybe using the nail file to help), maybe some animal is cooked and the group has some dinner and talk for a while. Maybe get some backstory from Mike about how he got his scar, from Bonnie about overcoming her addictions. Everyone goes to sleep fairly quickly.Except for Luke. He fakes falling asleep and walks away from the group and weeps. It accidentally wakes Clementine up, and Luke pours out everything that's happened to him. It's basically the reverse of the dinner table conversation in episode one. In this scenario, he's the one who's vulnerable, as much as he doesn't want anyone else to know. I would love a "lambs to the slaughter" reference, and he starts to think Carver was right about them. Also, we're gonna get some genuine grief over Nick. That's when the walkers come. Center Cannot HoldReached the other sideBasically shit hits the fan part one. All The Dark NightMade it through to morningShit hits the fan part two. I have a strong feeling we'll get an armed with death type of moment with Luke where we basically manage to plow through a herd. Also, Bonnie will get bitten somewhere on her ankle at this point. CHOICE PREDICTION: Want to cut off the leg or not. It's not a choice wether or not the leg gets cut, just weather or not Clem supports it. Luke will always make the command decision to clean off his machete and cut off the leg, which Bonnie will support. Calling it now: Bonnie WILL survive the amputation. It's possible that this can be done for Mike as well. I'm not sure. We slowly driveReached the terminusAfter the last achievement, the group will get lucky and find a car that works. This interpretation of the achievement is fairly literal, but I'm sticking with it. Remember the group is in Tennessee. That's approximately a long ass way from northern Michigan, where Wellington is. So basically, the group drives up to where Wellington is supposed to be. It ain't there. More coming later, probably today.

Here's what I think will happen (spoiler for achievement names): The shootout will result will the death of most of the Russians as well as Mike and Bonnie (I like them, but TT tends to kill off the characters I like...), with Kenny, Luke, Clem and baby surviving. Arvo will be mortaly wounded and we will have a choice to finish him off or not (not that it matters - I believe that if we don't kill him, Kenny/Luke will; BLOOD AND IRON). Whatever will remain of the group, they'll decide they can't go to the city because it is not safe (because of other Russians maybe) and instead travel straight to Wellington (MILES TO GO). However, Luke ang Kenny will decide to split up because they can't stand each other. Clem takes the baby and decides who she will travel with, and the other character will go away and never appear again, with Clem and her partner making a camp to stay (RIGHT OF FROST). Unfortunately, they will be attacked by walkers and: a) Luke will decide that he can't babysit two kids and have a chance to survive, so he will abandon us; b) Kenny will succumb to his infection and decide to die heroically by holding of walkers (CENTER CANNOT HOLD). Clem will be stranded alone in the woods, looking for help (ALL THE DARK NIGHT) and she will fortuantely stumble upon "a stranger in a car" who will offer her a ride (WE SLOWLY DROVE) and ask her some personal details about her life (season 1 stranger-wise), the baby, where is she going, asking how would she rate his looks from 1 to 10 and of course it will turn out that N... the driver is unhinged and Clem will be forced to kill him (KINDLY STOP FOR ME). With all her trust toward people gone, she will arive in Wellington, with the baby, without any hope. She will go to the playground to reminisce about her past, and she will unexpectedly meet a woman who was supposed to be a mother a long time ago - Christa. Greeting her and seeing Christa taking care of the baby, Clem regains hope in mankind, reflecting on the sacrifices of many kind people she met on her way (ALL THE DEAD LIE DOWN). THE END! EDIT: The baby will be named Omid in the final scene, as was his wish in the opening scene of the season.

Strange that the game feels as if it needs to kill EVERYONE, even though in the comics, there's more than one character who's been around from the beginning. In fact, from the first three books, we still have: Rick, Andrea, Carl, Sophia, and Maggie. That's five. And yet, with the game, even from Season One to Two, we've only got two, Clem and Kenny, with another still missing, Christa. Because Telltale has balls to kill pretty much anyone they want. Kirkman does not, however. Neither does Scott Gimple. I wouldn't say Kirkman doesn't have balls to kill them. He killed two big fan favourites (Abraham, Glenn) in the span of 3 issues. Abe's death wasn't even planned. He died only because Kirkman thought it would be lame if nobody died in a particular scene. It's just good to have some old people sticking around. What would be the point, if everyone just died and we'd have only new people. So I really hope episode 5 won't be a total blood bath. I'd like at least 2 characters to survive, beside Clem and the baby. Two deaths would be enough, really. How many people from the group died in No time left? Ben (determinant) and Lee. Kenny was presumed dead.

I know that I am not a big fan of Luke, but I realized that TT will have to make the character we chose go away somehow, and that's the first thing that popped in my head

I know it's THE NATE. But we're talking about TT here. I don't think they care what we think. Want an example?
