I chose Everdusk, though it was tough for me, I could definitely see Liam's point of view on the whole thing... Also, wouldn't Jack dying in Chapter 5 create a time paradox? Though, by the end, the whole thing just became a huge mess with the timeline due to the fact that Burden seems to be some creation by the gods, made to live through the same 7 years over and over again just to get to that final point. Start a war and end the Constellar Federation, or save the lives of 4 Billion people, setting Xenolifer on the path of a peaceful solution for equality. I'll be honest, when the full game was first announced, I didn't actually expect it to come with so much story. Aside from some strange bits of dialogue(due to the translation I assume), it was very well written. I wonder if there's any chance for a sequel. I think my favorite chapters were 2 and 5. Yeah, the last choice was relally hard for me. After a few minutes of thinking, I choose Xenolifer. None of the options were perfect. There wasn't black and white, just gray. That's what I really liked about this game. If there will be a sequel, I'd play it. It was a pretty good game. It was very confusing at some points, but it was a good story. My favourite chapter was the second one. Four, five and six were also great. Chapter 2 was just amazing. Dialogue, music, characters... It was all very climatic. I hated this blonde interrogator so much, it's a shame we couldn't kill him. Also, how the game made you think you will have to survive 20 days, but it really was how many? About 10, I think. I'll try to win the game in original mode in a few days. I don't think I have any chance, considering how much trouble I had with chapter 5 on EASY. That is what I liked to, and seem to be seeing more often in gaming, grey morality choices, and I love it!

You played the full version, Bio? Or just demo? Full version, and my GOD was it hard. Oh yeah, it was. It was hard on easy difficulty, if you finished the game on original, you have my respect. Also, which ending did you choose?

I think it was about ten yeah. I think my favorite part of Chapter 2 was the Russian Roulette. About as close as I came to confessing. During the torture wall part, I'd been lucky enough to ask for painkillers, so I could just keep using "provoke" with minimal damage. The axe... I thought it would take him more than two swings, but it didn't so Jack ended up losing his arm for me. Oh well, he seems pretty happy with the bionic one, if you keep playing fetch with Marvin you get this whole conversation between Jack and Burden. So... Yeah, the Russian Roulette was probably the most intense part of Chapter Two. That entire part of the game just made you feel so... powerless. I liked Chapter Five because the whole thing felt so epic, leading this small platoon across a desert waste land, fighting rebels, avoiding the sandstorms. I just loved it, and it. I don't think it was as intense as Chapter Two, and the choices weren't as hard as they were in other chapters, but still, it just had this feel to it that I loved. I'm also going to try it in original, but doubt I'll get past the first Chapter. And if I do, I'm going to say it's a safe bet that not nearly as many members of my crew will be alive. If it comes down to it in Chapter 4, I'm definitely killing the doctor. One thing I'm interested to see in original is how character deaths affect the story/difficulty later on. In Easy, you don't have to make nearly as many sacrifices, so I'm anticipating seeing the full affect of your choices in original. For example, what if I dismantle Br4n-on in Chapter 4? I assume I don't get his help in Chapter 6 then, meaning that will be even more difficult, probably forcing me to be a lot more cruel than I was in easy in order to get the passwords. This game really is just fantastic. In every single way.

This game really is just fantastic. In every single way. Oh right, the russian roulette was intense as hell. After a while, I just wanted to confess and be safe, but decided to lie. The lying failed and I was 100% sure it was over for me. I just closed my eyes and heard the clicking noise, thankfully. Great scene, really. Also, the axe. I wanted to lie, so I started thinking, but he cut off Jack's arm faster than I expected. Is it even possible to keep the arm? You would have to confess/succesfully lie all the time. Chapter 5 was also great. At first, I loved it, but it gave me so much trouble that I stopped liking it this much. Still, I liked it. The feeling that those people lives depend on me, that I had to make necessary sacrifices. I felt really bad when I decided to kill Abraham for the first time. It was all about survival for me, I couldn't risk it. Ironically, I finally won in the first game I decided not to kill Abraham. And I think I'm missing something. Why would you destroy Br4n-on in chapter 4? He doesn't need food, do you get something for destroying him? Anyway, I'm curious to see how the rest of the game will look, if Jack won't survive chapter 2.

The end stats said that about 30-40% of people managed for Jack to keep his arm, so yes, it is possible. If you destroy Br4n-on in Chapter 4, he gives you extra bullets, and if you run ou of bullets, it's all over for you. You can't fight wild predators with just spears, as I found out one time.

Ah yes, Russian Roulette, the most intense scene I have played since a certain scene from Burial at Sea part 2, and believe me, THAT is something.

I downloaded the game and I'm going to play it tonight. I want to go in full-blind, so I didn't read any of your comments.

I got this game today and I'm stuck on chapter 1... how do I prevent the guards from busting in? You can tell Jack to attack them, which will push them back. However, this makes the hostages nervous, which you can deal with by talking to them, or hurting them. Any action taken on the bald guy affects them all greatly, as he is their leader. Though, note that an action taken on any of them will still affect the rest, just to a lesser degree. Negotiating with the guards will make them stay where the are for a while, but they will start moving soon. Also, they move slower the more hostages you have alive, and also will hesitate to attack. Note that leaving a hostage in the break room counts as them not being in the room, so the guards will be more likely to attack. Honestly, I suggest playing it on easy to get used it to, and also for the story, and then going back and playing it on original.

45 minutes, no progress I don't exactly have a high opinion of this game so far.

45 minutes, no progress I don't exactly have a high opinion of this game so far. Again, try easy, just enjoy the story the first time through. If you're failing on easy, I don't have any advice for you then.
