.......I just realized that there are only two characters confirmed to be alive by the end of the series. And one is The Operator......

Well, the movie was good. Very good, in fact. Far exceeded my fairly high expectations. However, it seems the subtitle "A Marble Hornets Story" was a little too fitting. Aside from a nicely implemented Easter Egg, there's no connection to the main series. no totheark, no Ark, no Tim, literally the only connection is a missing persons poster for Alex Kralie, and The Operator himself. I'm not angry, but that's my biggest complaint about it. Now... I'm going to post the one thing that I think relates to the series here: At the very end, Milo realizes that he's become a source. After talking to Rose, they know that if the Source dies, then those he's infected are safe. When The Operator finds them, in an effort to save Sara and Charlie, Milo hangs himself, and this seems to work. The Operator leaves, and everything seems to be fine. As an aside, I really liked how Milo said, "Everything's going to be okay" to Sara just before he hanged himself, which I assume was a little nod to Tim's final message before his disappearance/suicide, "Everything is fine". However, then Milo's eyes roll back, and it appears as if he's being directly controlled by The Operator. So... this is... interesting. I did suspect something when The Operator didn't come to "collect" his body, but not that.
Also, I guess this means that The Operator has a new 'ability' I guess...
Anyway, Milo/The Operator "kills" Charlie and Sara before collapsing, the Operator shows up, and then Milo's eyes look normal. To anyone who came upon them, it would look like Milo went crazy, killed his friends, and then hanged himself.
I put kills in quotations because The Operator doesn't collect any of their bodies. Now, this is a thing he's done throughout the series. To Alex, Jay, and Jessica. Jessica, of course, was alive.... so....
Damn it... The movie really doesn't have many answers. I'm just more confused. Great movie, but a lack of answers. :/

The Movie is out now on various things(itunes and what not). It's only got a few connections to the show, and doesn't answer many questions, but it's actually a really great movie.

Huh, so this video was posted on the Marble Hornets Facebook page with the message "44"...
Looks like more Marble Hornets stuff is happening, which is great. Because while "Always Watching" was a fantastic movie, it, like most things Marble hornets related, gave more questions than it answers.

Shit, so I found some stuff out. On google, it says, "Pending investigation, this site is not available. are you awake." And now, when I go to the site, below the normal message, it says, "If you have authorized access, please contact the admin at dscott3872@gmail.com" But, that's not it. There's more. By adding any random letters or numbers to the url, it brings up a new page: It's actually a gif, but not important. And, here's the big thing, by opening the image in a new tab, it becomes a little clearer... I'll post more if I find it out.

Things that some other people are saying:
According to the medical files that Jay finds, Alex's Birthday is the 4th of April, so that might explain the whole "44" thing...
The 44 Logo has a tree... so it might have something to do with Rosswood.
The only other thing I'm getting from the video is that it says "play" at one point.
Seems like the most accepted thing to take from this is that this is an announcement of their new series. They said it would be related to Marble Hornets, but not Marble Hornets. So, basically a new story within the same universe. Obviously not called Marble hornets as it probably won't have anything to do with Jay/Alex/Tim pr the original characters.
I imagine that totheark will still be around.
Also, I'm curious how Always Watching will be related.... maybe it will bridge Marble Hornets and 44? I'm really not sure.
