Hopefully Clem goes back to being a deuteragonist in Season 3, if there is one. There's no way in hell that they'll do that. Once you turn Clem into a playable character, it just doesn't make sense to hand her playable character status off to someone else and have her stick around. It would just make the handing off of player agency from Lee to Clem seem cheap and pointless. Anyway, I would have actually liked to have played as Christa, since I think she would play very similar to Lee. The only difference is that she's a bit more practically minded and has more sass than rage.

I feel like so long as Clem can hand it off to another character in a way that makes sense, perhaps she's trapped some how and she has to instruct another character on how to get her out, kinda like how Lee teaches her to cater for herself in No Time Left. I mean, having her as a deuteragonist again would be weird, but then again, the original announcement that Clem would be the PC in Season 2 was kind of weird to me.

It's not going to happen sadly, either season 3, if there is a season 3, still has Clem being the protagonist, or, we end Clem's story this season, either by just ending it and moving on to someone else, but keeping her alive, or by, sadly, killing her off, which I hope to god they don't do, I really can't see any other option beside those three choices.

Doubt they'll kill her off. She's basically their cash cow. Kenny might not die either, though there's a greater chance of him dying. He's like their Daryl. I would find it interesting to start off with some random new group in Season 3 and then magically run into Clem's group. It'd be interesting to see how they react to our new characters. But I guess we'll get 13-year-old Clem.

I don't know, with two more games coming very soon, and no news yet about a season 3, we can't truly say what will happen, I mean everyone liked Lee, so why not keep him around? Well they didn't, and Kenny, well, I can't see him surviving this season sadly.

I'm perfectly content with playing as Clem.
(I really, really, really wish Omid were still alive.)

It could go like this:
In the last two episodes, Clementine will FINALLY start to develop.
End of episode 5, Clem's arc comes to an end.
Season 3, Clementine is still involved with the story, but similar to Rick's role in the new comics, her role is not our protagonist anymore.

Maybe, I thought I had this season figured out by episode 2, where it would be going, but no, I really don't, I mean I know we are going to Wellington, but past that? No clue.

Let's be honest with only 2 episodes left, I think Clem's story is far, far from over. I have almost no doubts about a third Season, besides being a cash cow they know how much this series means to a lot of people.

Yeah. That's another reason why I dislike TWD now.

Hopefully season 3 will be better. The only reason I really like Season 2 is because it's got Ken in it and I'm gonna admit that.

Omid was absolutely wasted for his potential. I'm still holding out hope for a Christa reappearance, but I feel like she'll end end up dead cause...Telltale. Plus it would be a good amount of work to reinsert her into the plot in a meaningful way, and I don't think they're willing to do that with their current workload. With that said, surprise me Telltale.

I feel like that's a subtle nod to Omid.
