Heisenberg, make this a mod! Heisen, I would love you if you did this. Yeah, I probably should get back to doing those L4D2 mods, shouldn't I? I stopped for a while because I started procrastinating and then completely forgot about the L4D2 mods there are just a shitload of bugs in the Luke one. Flashlights don't affect him, from certain angles he looks like he has massive triangles connecting his thighs, his hands look weird in first-person when holding certain weapons(shotgun for example), and there's a really weird face glitch. I'll get back to it soon... by that I mean, I might look for help about the current weird glitches on the Luke one this weekend and I'll actually start working on stuff(either trying to fix the Luke one or starting the Pete/Bill one, or maybe both) at the start of June. Edit, June 1 2014(heh, nobody's going to read this anyway):I'm trying to start the Pete/Bill swap, I've got Pete's model ready for action, but... I can't find Bill's model. I need to have that to be able to make the mod, but for some reason I can't find it in L4D2's files.

I totally understand the procrastination thing. From one procrastinator to another, I don't in any way hold that against you. And given that modding is a difficult and time consuming thing, I don't want to actually pressure you into starting any mods you don't want to make.

This is "Tom the Poet" by "Old Gods of Asgard" (Poets of the Fall in real life, who also have a cameo as themselves in the game) from Alan Wake. This isn't just a cool in-game song, no, this song is actually important to the story and so contains spoilers for Alan Wake if you haven't played it yet (which I highly recommend you do). Given the spoilers this song entails, I'm not saying anything about it other than that it's badass. For me, this song is right up there with "Save Me Some Sugar" from Left 4 Dead 2.

Me again.
This song never appears in the game itself, but it was made specifically for it so it still counts. It's the Ballad of Silas Greaves, a bounty hunter and the protagonist of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. One day in 1910, the legendary bounty hunter Silas Greaves walks into the Bull's Head Saloon in Abilene, Kansas where he is quickly recognized by the saloon's patrons. Within minutes they gather around the old gunslinger and he begins to tell them of his rise to fame and what motivated him to cut a bloody swath through the American Wild West. I cannot stress how much I love this game. It may be my favorite western game ever, even more than Red Dead Redemption simply because it nails the feel of a Clint Eastwood movie, or a John Wayne film almost perfectly. It's a drastic improvement for the franchise and, in my mind, a gem of a game that was overlooked due to how awful the game before it (CoJ The Cartel) was. The song itself fits the game and the mood perfectly and there's no other music I can listen to other than this when I decide to boot up Gunslinger and take my guns to town.
There are versions that are just the song itself, without the noises from this trailer. Just type in "Ballad of Silas Greaves" on youtube and a good version of only the song should be first or second on the list.

And my personal favorite pieces:
Hey, guys. I don't know if you've noticed this, but I really like the music in The Last of Us.

This song, and the whole game, is amazing! I can't wait for the eventual sequel.

This one might contain some spoilery lyrics, but it's not too bad.
Even though I already posted two songs from this game, I'm putting the whole soundtrack, because it's the best soundtrack that I've ever heard in a video game.

Difference of opinion I suppose. Have you heard any of the music for the sequel? One of the new songs by Perturbator that I really liked was called "Sexualizer". I'll see if I can find it later. M.O.O.N is also doing quite a bit of music for the sequel.

What a great game, I had low hopes after the last one *shivers* but this one really surprised me.

Ah, Always Running, good song, for BO2 though, my money goes with Archangel, damn was it good to hear Elena Siegmen again, also just noting this, she helped make Infinite, yes, my brain exploded when I found out.

I can't believe I forgot to include this beauty in a thread specifically for awesome video game music.
Now this is a score that gets your blood pumping like never before and psychs you up. Once this music began you KNEW that the Collectors were about to have their insectoid asses kicked so hard that Harbinger himself would feel it all the way out in Dark Space.
