Kat, Spoilers. Sonic, holy shit that is harsh. And I thought I was being harsh with Kenny. You think that because she was talking she deserved to get fucking hit? I hope you don't end up as a father, dude. oh shit...I'm so sorry, Harp. Edit, bro.

Oh, no. I had already played it. I don't know if everyone here has, though.

Honestly, Sonic's hate is justified by what can be considered spoilers so this entire thread is really one..

Sweet Jebus Sonic, that's straight fucked up. Sarah didn't deserve to get hit, and how can you expect her to just "shut the fuck up" when she saw her father get shot then eaten in front of her? I'd scream too. Ok, maybe the whole screaming thing I overreacted with I'm sorry for that, not everyone can be like Clem, but in the beginning when Carver gives his speech? Did she really have to do that?

While I don't believe that she in any way deserved to get smacked for talking during Carver's speech, she should have known better than to do so. At the very least that it was a bad idea.

She should have known, but she did not deserve that, I was really hoping Clem would get the punishment instead, bad as it to say that, she is tough, she could take it, Sarah couldn't and didn't.

You'd rather have Clem get hit instead? Are you fucking serious? You'd rather have Carver hit this > oh shit, wrong Clem. This! > Shame on you, Bio!

I know it sounds bad, but Clem could take it, she does get hit by Troy really hard and she is okay mentally, Sarah is not ready for something like that, I didn't want her to get hurt, so I said it was my fault, and sadly he didn't change it. I know I sound like a asshole, but it seems like the right thing at the moment.

I wouldn't let my Clem get hurt because of Sarah's mistakes. Clem gets enough shit without it.

Well I wanted to, again I sound like a horrible person, but it made sense in the heat of the moment, someone that is strong gets hurt over someone that is weak getting hurt.

I agree with Bio here. Yeah, I don't want to see Clem get hurt, but I'm always ready to take the blame because I know she can TOLERATE the hurt. She stitch up her own arm for fuck's sake. I knew ahead of time that running to Kenny's aid while he's getting beaten to a pulp would result in Clem getting knocked out. I did it anyways. You stand up for those you care about. Clementine can handle it. She got slapped by Carver and was over it almost immediately. Had she successfully taken the blame for Sarah talking, she would have taken it and gotten over it again. To play Devil's advocate to myself though... If you get slapped by Carver in the beginning then tell Sarah to grow up when she's separated from Carlos upon arrival at Howe's, Sarah tells you off by saying something like "don't tell me to grow up, I'm older than you, plus, you're the one that got hit." And Clem's subtle look of sadness is devastating. It's enough to make me wish she never suffered ever again.

And Clem's subtle look of sadness is devastating. It's enough to make me wish she never suffered ever again. Oh wow, that's rough. Sometimes it feels easier to take the blame, like Lee can do about stealing the supplies to Lilly. I can't hate Sarah when it was her dad's job to teach her, like Lee taught Clem, but instead he waited until it's too late. If we find her, I will do my best to help her out, but I really don't think she can handle what's coming in the next two episodes. I don't really want Clementine burdened with Sarah.
