He is right though sadly, people like him survive because he is willing to do anything to survive, and yes Sarah is not the strongest member of the group, damn it, now I have sworn to protect both Nick AND Sarah, for both Pete and Carlos. He survived as a monster, not as a human. I DEFINITELY don't want Clem to grow up and become the Carver of the new generation.

okay, just want to say this first.
-Just cause you are hating on how un-prepared(is that a word, I don't think it is) Sarah was, does not mean you're hating on Autism as a whole.
Okay, now we're done with that. time to actually talk about the topic.
I think there is one thing carver was right about
"You're not Coddling that girl anymore" Because honestly, Carlos shouldn't have been coddling her in the first place, he was doing exactly what Chuck didn't want to see, protecting someone from the horrors of the apocalypse only for them to react and get themselves in a situation they cant' get out of once you die.
in the end, it is Carlos' Fault for caring about her too much- which you can't really blame him for. Sarah was likely still shaken up about what her father did and honestly wasn't thinking straight when she was messing around with the bushes. She just can't keep her shit together. which cannot be faulted for when you combine Autism WITH sheltering. both of which are fairly progress halting in a few scenarios, this is a scenario where it's both. Sarah was clearly shaken up about this all day, and clearly blamed herself for Reggie's untimely fall.
Something that happens to people is when a bucketload of stress is slowly dumped on them throughout a entire day nonstop and it never gets a chance to go away. one little spark can quite literally cause a nuclear explosion that destroys every ounce of common sense.
In Sarah's case, this spark was her fathers death via sudden bullet from nowhere. and one of the stresses dumped on her was being in a horde of zombies. and a few others involved death and physical pain.

This so much, I agree a lot with this, Carver was right, if your nice to much, then you won't be prepared and will die, its like what Chuck said, but in the end, you can't blame her that much for what transpired at the end.

Even if Sarah isn't as strong as Clem, I will protect her and try to train her, if I abandon her and leave her to die than Clem won't be better than Carver and will just prove that he was right. I remember an old saying from the show Naruto "Those who abandon their comrades are worse than trash" and I will do anything to prove that Clem isn't worse than that trash called Carver.

I remember that episode, and I have been training her, like when I taught her how to shoot a gun, I hope that pays off and maybe saves her, just please god, don't do a Chuck moment Telltale!

I never really liked Sarah, but I don't hate her. I was a bit frustrated she wasn't doing her chores, and especially miffed when she was talking during Carver's speech, but I give her a pass on her screaming in the horde. She saw her father get shot, then eaten alive in front of her. I'd scream too if I had to go through that. I'm amazed that Carlos managed to keep it together as he died, not making a sound despite the obvious pain, but it's entirely understandable that Sarah screamed. I'll keep her alive for Carlos, and because she's a member of my group.

I'm gonna sound like a hypocrite here but...
Why all the hate on Sarah? She has been sheltered from the apocalypse for two years, she's been babied by her father and now you hate her? This is fucking Duck all over again and how did that turn out? The poor kid got a bullet in his brain after being bit. Sarah is a kid, she probably has a disorder and probably doesn't understand the situations she's in and what is right and what is wrong. She just wanted to know if Clem had slept okay, sure she was interrupting Carver, sure she shouldn't have done that, sure she was stepping out of line, but that doesn't mean she deserved to get a smack across the mouth and get knocked to the fucking ground.
Sarah didn't mean to get Reggie killed, she was still stunned after what had happened in the 'pen'. This is her father, her dad that she loves and cares about, he's NEVER smacked her before so this is a terrifying experience. The whole apocalypse is terrifying. Sure she should have done her simple chores, sure her not doing them caused Carver to get pissed. But did Sarah push Reggie off the roof? No. Carver did.
And then of course there's the screaming at the end of the episode. What the fuck, guys. "Oh, Clem didn't do that in Season 1 blah blah blah" well done Clem *sarcastic clap* this was 3 months into the apocalypse where Clem had seen a lot of shit, more shit than Sarah, may I remind you who had BEEN SHELTERED THIS ENTIRE TIME, saw in the space of 2 years. Her dad gets shot in the fucking throat and then gets torn apart by walkers. What did you expect? That Sarah would stay silent and keep walking? It's a natural childish response, Sarah has obviously been raised in a way that she has kept her innocence and overly is younger in her mind than her actual age itself. I'll have you know, I'm a lot like Sarah. I'm immature and a child at heart, I'm 14 but act like I'm 10 or something. If I was in that situation, if I was raised the same way Sarah had been (in other words, if I wasn't a heartless bastard) I'd probably collapse to the ground and cry and allow the walkers to eat me. Maybe.
Sarah doesn't deserve this amount of bullshit.

Yep, I do love how the last words Carlos says is, "Clementine, your her friend." When back in episode 1, he wanted Clem to stay far away from her, shows how much he changed and trusted her, even in the end.
