"Bye!" Ganla waved.
"...I so do not care for him. I don't even like him." Sandy said.
"You know what would make a really great what if? One where the Gods decide to push the reset button and reset the entire Fall timeline back to where it was to when Omalley and Lynch reunite in the Closure and make sure that everything goes right so those two can get together and thus make everything that happened in that timeline pointless, none-existent and erase the characters who were born in that timeline as a easy way to solve everything? Now that would be genius, can you imagine how much rage everyone would feel from such a cheap cop out resolution, it would be like watching a fireworks display here." Erebus said, completely sarcastic from beginning to end.
"Yeah, yeah, no, I could barely stomach one plotline being cancelled thanks to divine intervention, something like that would piss a lot of people here who would feel robbed after getting invested in what happened in that timeline just for the sake of pushing out a cheap fake happy ending, I would even smack the God who would dare to push the reset button upside their head." Ashley sighed.
"Honestly, I'm okay with how the Sophia bit ended, but it would of been nice to keep the knowledge of the origin of the four with us instead of tossing that away. I hope that will come back through some fashion in whatever will happen next after this story is over." Calypso admitted.

"Its time to throw your cares away! The Ahara Haven is the place to play!"
Ahara stood in the center of the room, he looked uncertain, sad, hands on his hips. He looked around the haven before he decided to sit down. Shaking his head
It was silent for a moment
"You've probably figured out that, me being here, despite saying i wouldnt be, means there is bad news to follow, and you wouldnt be far from the truth.
It would be best if i just...come straight out the gate with the news.
Legacy has been postponed until after The Soulless World.
Yup, you heard that correctly, Legacy will not come out this month, instead its gonna be put on hold until The Soulless World has ended..." Ahara said, all the children said awwww, some were even crying.
Ahara looked dissapointed, holding his face in his hands for a moment.
"The truth is i guess...we just arent ready, we keep trying to get it done by a general time frame but every time we do something goes wrong for one reason or another, its not like we are rushing, but...i guess we just need more time....its like the universe just doesnt want it to happen yet...So....with that said, im sorry..we all are, but our hands are tied...
Friday October the 18th is when The Soulless World begins...
So i...guess i will see you all later...
Goodbye....for now" Ahara said as he waved at the camera unable to even smile..he stopped...standing up and walked out of the havens door and closed it behind him, the havens set lights dimming as a result.
It was quiet. And the haven faded to black.

"...So much for all that hype." Trojan commented.
"Great, our death certificates in the Soulless World are back on track." Hermes muttered.
"Great, the long tedious treasure hunt is back on track, can't wait to face a giant lot of assholes who have something to prove." Dietz sighed, folding his arms.
"...Since Legacy will be delayed after this RP, Hercule, how did you pick up these four new guys? Why did you choose them to be in the new Royal Guard?" Drake asked.
"They were 4 out of 32 candidates who passed and decided they would fit well in our group. We have some videos to show how the process went, but I'll show them only if the rest want to." Hercule said, looking at the four new members, waiting for their approval.

The four all looked varying degrees of surprised (with Diana being the least and Erinye being the most) at Hercule's suggestion.
"..Well, I guess it'd be okay." Erinye shrugged, while Diana nodded vigorously. Theseus and Bacchus both opted to nod with significantly less vigour.
"So many previews, so little time." Tara commented dryly.
"Well?" Sophia asked. "They're fine with it, let's see these vids, then."

"Alright then. Dietz?" Hercule asked.
Dietz rolled his eyes as he sat up and pulled out his transceiver, uploading one of the videos into the big screen.
It started to load and in just a few seconds, the video started.
---------
"...Yeah, sorry, Min, but you are not the candidate material we are looking for, since you din't pass most of the obstacles. And also, joining the new Royal Guard so you can become popular and get laid is a idiotic reason to serve your people. Good luck with finding another place who will accept your talents." Hercule shrugged, as he was standing in the middle of a metallic room, telling this to a Neonyte who was in his early 20's with a yellow mohawk wearing dark shades, purple shoulder pads, a green open metallic vest with a green shirt and torn jeans, with smoke coming out of his body.
Dietz was sitting on a chair in front of a advanced looking laptop with a glass window in front of him that showed a large grey area that looked like a perfect area for a training simulation, with a sliding bay door that leads to the training area on the right
"Ah, man, this blows." The Neonyte whined.
He then turned around and walked out through the door, the sound of someone snickering in the hallway was heard as it was filled with Neonytes who wanted to candidate.
"Shut the hell up, Chandra." The Neonyte said before the door closed.
Hercule placed his hand on his face as he sighed with disappointment before he looked over to Dietz.
"At which number are we up to at this point?" Hercule asked.
"20 out of 32. It doesn't look pretty good, especially since not many people want to join the group that made our entire race look bad and half of the guys that we tested out only wanted a easier way to get money, I think we kiss our chances of assembling a new Neonytian Royal Guard goodbye." Dietz sighed.
"Hey, let's not throw in the towel and walk out the door just yet, we still have 12 more, maybe they will be more promising." Hercule guessed.
He held his transceiver and looked at the list of candidates, seeing who was the next person who signed up.
"...Alright, our next candidate is Diana." Hercule said.
Dietz nodded as he clicked a button on his laptop, activating a microphone.
"Diana, you're up next." Dietz announced through a speaker in the hallway.
One of the younger neonytes present, who looked to be between 17 and 19 years of age, from both her size and the darkness of her skin. With lilac hair held back in a poofy ponytail and a fringe swept to the right, wearing a metallic grey long sleeved padded shirt with a metallic blue line going down it and a lighter blue neckwarmer with dark black trousers, looked up at the speaker.
"Oh, Diana, that's me!" She grinned, hopping out of her seat as the potted plant next to her continued to wither away, awkwardly shoving a futuristic-looking lance underneath her armpit. She giggled as she turned around in a circle, smiling at the less-than-amused faces of the other neonytes still currently waiting. "Well, Good luck everyone. I'll be seeing you all in the new Royal Guard!"
With a large, exagarrated wave with her free arm, she moonwalked down the hallway and through the door.
Two of the other candidates looked at each other with mutual scowls. "...I hope she gets the boot." One of them muttered.
...
Hercule and Diana were both sitting on chairs, facing each other while Dietz was fiddling with some programs on the laptop.
"Okay, Diana, just like with the other candidates, I want to ask you a few questions and then get a peek at your abilities then we'll decide if you are the person we are looking for our new Royal Guard. *Ahem*, so, why do you exactly want to join the new Royal Guard?" Hercule asked.
Diana leaned back in the chair and crossed her legs, allowing her smile to fade.
"Well, My full name is Diana Landebert, my family was involved with the Cromwell's for a while, in fact, one of my own uncles had married into the Cromwell family quite a while ago, contributing to the families rise to power. I have decided to join the new Royal Guard to redeem my family, and the Cromwell's by extension. I never agreed with project Ragnarok, and hope to help erase the stain on our reputation as a whole that it has left behind."
With that, she smiled again, twirling a strand of her hair. "I believe that about covers it."
Hercule placed his finger on his chin with a curious look on his face.
"Hm, that sounds like a noble reason, I'm sure if you will have what it takes to pass this exam, you will make your family proud when we get this whole thing started. Next question, what is your blood type and the power that came with it?" Hercule asked.
"Purple." Diana stated, proudly. "But with my specific ability, I'd find it easier to show you than I would to explain it. Do you have any plants on hand, like the one that was outside?" Her voice cracked slightly at the last word, betraying her confidence.
"Uh...I don't have any plants but, I'll try to see if I can find some for ya." Hercule said, scratching the back of his head.
Dietz just clicked a button as a portal opened from a ceiling and a potted plant landed right in Diana's hands.
"I'm sure no one will notice." Dietz shrugged apathetically as the portal closed when he clicked the same button.
As soon as it landed in her hands, leaves were already falling off the small plant.
"As you can see, I'm, more or less surrounded by a aura of death." Diana chuckled nervously. "It doesn't have really do much to humans or neonytes unless I start to will it, but it's pretty quick on flora like this pretty much all the time."
She moved out of her hands, holding it above the plant as the leaves directly underneath it quickly turned grey and fell off- rotting to nothing near immediately. "I can control it, and focus it on smaller areas, I think you can imagine what I can do with this. People's hearts tend to beat a little faster when I'm around, if you know what I mean." She joked, pulling her hand away from the plant.
Hercule looked at the plant as it died off.
"Hmm, I see." Hercule said.
He then looked at Dietz before turning back to Diana as he got up.
"Okay, before I make my decision, let's put you up to a little test, it's a simulation but consider it a preview of what we may go up against when the Royal Guard starts it's first mission. For this test, let's say you are part of a four-person crew on a spaceship that just got attacked by a squad of...Kheogs and you have to save your comrades and get out of the ship by heading to the escape pod before the ship explodes, if the Kheogs catch you, you fail the exam and you won't be in the Royal Guard. The Kheogs and your teammates will be robots actually to make it look real. You think you can handle that?" Hercule asked, crossing his arms.
Diana placed the plant back on the table.
"I'll have a bit of a hard time if I'm against Robots, but sure!" Diana smiled, jumping out of the seat. She pulled her lance out and twirled it, pointing it at Hercule's face, before lifting it away. "I'll welcome the challenge, Herki."
Hercule backed away slightly when Diana pinted the Lance at his face, looking relieved that she din't accidently scar him.
"Good, the simulation chamber is that way." Hercule said as the door that lead to the chamber was opened by Dietz when he pressed a button on his laptop and typed in the codes for the scenario.
Diana saluted at Hercule, still looking at him as she walked sideways into the simulation room. That 3-mouth still present as she stopped right as she entered the room. Standing up straight and eyeing it all as the simulation began.
“...Did she call me Herki?” Hercule asked, as if he realized that just now.
Dietz pressed the enter button and the entire room Diana was in lit up as the scenery changed around her.
Diana was in the middle of a burning metallic corridor of a spaceship with alarms going off everywhere.
A tall bulky Kheog had his hands on a Neonytian’s throat, pinning them against the wall ready to bite their neck off while at the end of the hall, two other Neonytes ran from the right and went to the left, going out of sight as they were chased by four Kheogs wielding weapons.
Diana instantly snapped to attention, a more determined, serious face replaced her old one as she grasped her lance with both hands as she ran straight for the bulky Kheog currently preparing to bite a neonyte's neck off. "The lives in the most danger need to be saved first." She thrust the lance ahead of her as she charged- piercing it straight through the side of it's torso. The spear-end of the lance poking out through the other side before she pulled the lance out with unexpected ferocity. Simulated blood spraying out of both the wounds it had left.
The Kheog placed his hands on where the wound was, spitting out more simulated blood before he collapsed on the floor.
The Neonytian walked to Diana and robotically nodded his head at her.
Diana nodded back in return, pointing to the right- where the other Kheogs had chased the other two neonytes. "Come on." She said, as she ran in that direction.
The Neonyte followed Diana as they ran down the corridor.
Pieces of the ship were falling out of the ceiling as they reached another corridor and weren't standing too far away from the four Kheogs who had their backs turned as they were shooting lasers at the two Neonytes who were hiding behind two chunks of metal who were shooting back before one of the Neonytes got blasted in their shoulder by one of the Kheog troopers.
One of the four however picked up Diana's scent and turned around, pointing his ray gun at Diana and the Neonyte while the other three were shooting at the two Neonytes.
Diana continued to charge forwards, her lance pointed ahead of her as she ran for the Kheog pointing his gun at her. She pressed a small button hidden underneath her thumb, and the spear-end split in half and opened up; a blast of energy firing through it and blasting the Kheog in the chest.
The Kheog got struck in the chest and was sent flying into one of his teammates, knocking them both on the floor and the other two turned around.
The Neonyte pulled out a weapon and shot two lasers that broke through their helmet's visors right between their eyes and collapsed.
The two Neonytes went out of hiding, one was helping the other get up as their shoulder was bleeding from that blast and was holding onto his teammate so they wouldn't fall.
The ship shook violently as it had a two more minutes before it would explode before one of the Neonytes turned to the north side of the corridor and pointing to a sign above them saying 'Emergency Escape Pods' with a red arrow pointing forward.
However, a ventilation grill on the ceiling opened up and three more Kheogs jumped out and landed on their feet, blocking the crew's path to the pods as they started shooting at them.
More Kheogs were charging towards them from the left and right while the two Neonytes who weren't injured tried to keep the incoming Kheogs from both sides at bay.
Diana shot at the middle Kheog out of the three blocking the path to the escape pods, striking him right at the chest as she leaned into one of the other neonytes- pushing him out of the way of any enemy-fire. She fired at the second of the three Kheogs blocking the way.
The two Kheogs got blasted and rolled on the floor from the blast while the third Kheog took the opportunity to lunge at Diana, knocking her on the floor. The Kheog opened his clawed glove and shoved his claws into Diana's arm shoulder which she was holding the lance and used his other hand to pull the lance out of her grasp while his claws were still plunged into her shoulder to keep her down.
The two other Neonytes managed to shoot some of the Kheogs before two of them reached the Neonytes. One Neonyte smacked a Kheog in the face with their weapon's handle, knocking them back while the second Neonyte had their hands on the Kheog's throat, preventing him from reaching his teeth into his neck.
The third injured Neonyte who was on the ground grabbed a Kheog by their foot and caused them to trip and fall on their face before he could help out his crew.
Diana grunted as she fell to the floor, placing her hand on the Kheog's wrist. Grimacing so hard one of her eyes was almost completely closed as she focused her power, even though it was just a simulation, the skin beneath her palm began to flake and turn a shade of grey as it all died off, the death energy crawling up the Kheog's arm and making it's way across it's shoulder and towards it's chest- where all of it's major organs would be.
The Kheog felt like something was cutting his organs in half with sharp blades as he coughed big amount of blood out of his mouth, covering his helmet's visor in blood and made it impossible to see his frozen expression before they collapsed on top of Diana. He wasn't breathing.
Diana pushed the Kheog's limp body off of her, grunting again as she sat herself up. She kept her hand tensed, twitching her fingers as the energy travelled from the already-deceased-Kheog to the one grappling with the Second Neonyte, every single cell on that Kheog's neck began to die off as Diana concentrated the energy around it's airways.
The effects were the same on the Kheog as he was coughing violently, losing his strength and giving the Neonyte the chance to push him off and shot him in the chest, knocking him into two more Kheogs who were about to help him out.
One of the Neonytes grabbed the one who was on the floor while the other one picked up Diana and ran towards a metal bay door at the back of area while running from the remaining Kheogs.
The bay door opened and the Neonytes ran in. One Neonyte placed Diana on the floor as they put their hand on the biometric hand scanner next to the door and sealed it to prevent the Kheogs from coming in.
The room they were in had 8 escape pods, 4 pods on both sides of the room to be exact before the ship shook violently again as a explosion occured, fortunately it was far from where the Neonytes were but there wasn't much time before the ship would break apart.
Diana stood up, "Okay, we need to do this quick!" Diana said, running for one of the escape pods and looking back to the rest of her 'team', "Come on!" She said, placing her hand on the scanner next to one of the pods. "There's enough for all of us!"
One of her teammates ran to one pod and hopped in after scanning their hands.
The injuried Neonyte was carried into his pod by his comrade before running to the third available pod and went in.
Diana looked to the one remaining neonyte, waiting til he got in before she entered her own.
All Neonytes were now in their pods as each of them got shut into space.
The ship was falling apart in the background before it exploded with pieces of metal and steel dispersed in many directions.
Outside the simulation room, Hercule and Dietz watched the entire sequence.
"Huh, look at that, she managed to get out with her crew still alive and din't get caught in the explosion." Dietz grinned.
Hercule looked impressed as he approached Dietz.
"Alright, we've seen enough, end the simulation." Hercule said.
"Gotcha." Dietz nodded as he pressed the escape button.
The entire scene changed and Diana wasn't in the escape pod, she was back in the simulation room while her team changed their appearances back to basic robots who were standing still and not moving. The chamber's door opened as the test was now finished.
Diana's 3-mouth and general happy expression returned. "Hehe." She laughed to herself as the door opened, bending down to pick her lance back up before she made her exit.
"So, boys? How was I?" She asked as she walked out of the simulation room, pressing the button on her lance to return it back to normal. "Did you like it?"
Hercule and Dietz turned to each other and nodded as Hercule walked up to Diana, looking satisfied.
"Well, for a beginner you managed to pull through that crisis, despite the minor injury you looked out for your teammates and got them out of the ship before it blew up...by the way, you want me to heal that up?" Hercule asked, looking at her shoulder.
"Oh, so forward." Diana almost purred, walking up to him. "Go ahead, Herc."
Despite the awkward advancements from Diana, Hercule placed his hand on her shoulder and it started to glow red.
After 10 seconds, Hercule removed his hand the wound on Diana's shoulder was gone.
"Well, that takes care of that." Hercule smiled.
He reached his hand out to Diana for a handshake.
"Congratulations, Diana Landebert, you are the first recruit to be chosen for the new Neonytian Royal Guard. When the time comes, you and others will fight alongside us for all Neonytes out there. Your family will be proud of your future accomplishments." Hercule said.
Diana continued to smile. "As Expected."
She twirled her lance absentmindedly, "So, uh, should I expect a email or a video message or something?"
"Yeah, Dietz will give you a call when we need you and the others. The number of your transceiver or whatever communicator you have will suffice." Hercule nodded.
"Sure thing." Diana grinned, pulling a transceiver out. It was a noticeably old model. "I'll send you a message right now, that was your number on the application site, right?"
"Yup." Hercule confirmed as he got out his transceiver and waited to get the message.
'Ding!'
And the message was received, a single smiley-face emoji.
"I look forward to working alongside the two of you." Diana smiled.
"Of course, hopefully the next 11 candidates will feel the same if they pass. You're free to go, we'll contact you when we'll be ready to begin." Hercule smiled in return.
Diana tilted her head up as she turned around and made her way out of the interview room, as she walked past the other 11 neonytes still waiting, the one that had wished her failure earlier turned her head up and scoffed.
The Cobalt-haired man with the scythe next to the scoffing woman leaned back and crossed his arms, Diana gave him a interested side-eye as she passed by a neonyte-cyborg who was standing right by the exit. The Brunette, younger neonyte sitting next to the cyborg stared at the back of Diana's head.
"Good luck, everyone! I hope you all get in too!" She grinned, closing the door behind her as she left.
"...She is certainly a handful, she is pretty flexible for someone as young as her." Hercule commented.
"That's 1 out of 32. Now let's see if the others have what it takes." Dietz said.
"Right...by the way, don't tell Aphrodite about this, kay? I don't want her to get the wrong idea, let's keep it between ourselves." Hercule said, scratching the back of his head.
"No promises there." Dietz snickered.
...
Walking out of the building, Diana looked down at her transceiver. Scrolling through all of the messages and memos recorded on it.
"You've ruined everything, Salazar." She said, looking down at her transceiver as she strolled down the road. "Not just you. Cedric, Atlas, the entire lot.
But it's fine, I'm going to make sure every single stain you've left for us to deal with, gets wiped away."
She turned her transceiver off, placing it in her pocket with downcast eyes as the grass started to die off where she stood. "...Someone's got to do the right thing, this time." She sighed, under her breath.
END OF VIDEO
--------
"...Well, now I know." Hercule's girlfriend, Aphrodite, who happened to be in the room saw the view and turned her head slowly to Diana "You better not get any ideas in your head missy, he already has a girlfriend." Aphrodite said, with a cyan sparkle in her right eye.
"Ugh." Hercule sighed, scratching his head with one eye closed.
"At the very least, it's good to know you don't act like a obnoxious teenager all the time and know when to get serious in a situation." Izanami commented, shifting her only visible eye to Diana.

Diana looked between the two of them. "What's that supposed to mean?" She asked, a fitting response to both statements.
"I don't think you need to be worried. She seems like, a bit too young for him anyway." Micah offered.
Diana frowned and folded her arms, "Jeez, can't a girl have a bit of fun every once in a while?"
"Shoving all of that aside, it seems like she doesn't like the Cromwells that much, either." Sophia commented, casting a glance at the Cromwell Siblings.
"Duh!" Diana called out, "I've been saying as such since I first appeared, of course I don't like them! Why would I?"

"Join the club, there is a long line of people who hate our guts. If it makes you feel better, our chances of dying in that Universe are close to 95% really so feel free to celebrate when that happens." Hermes said.
Salazar said nothing, he seemed to accept Diana's opinion although Calypso looked quite annoyed.
"...You are from the same family as Neptune and her dad?" Aqua asked Diana.

"So, next video?" Akihiko asked.
"Yeah, yeah, it's coming up now, hold your damn horses." Dietz muttered, uploading the video on the screen right now.
The video loaded as usual before it began.
-------
"Number 23: Bacchus." Hercule said, reading from the list.
Dietz activated the speaker from the hallway.
"Bacchus, it's showtime." Dietz announced.
----
At the mention of his name, he cast a quick glance to the speaker.
Bacchus was, in comparison to most other neonytes, pretty tall, but still not the tallest person out there. He had de-saturated beige-ish skin, with a small black curling line going down from his left eye along his face. With swervy, cobalt blue hair that travels down his head in a circular motion. Wearing a white shirt with cobalt blue lining around the collar and rims, with a matching set of trousers and shoes. He sat cross-legged with a scythe held in his hands, running his finger along the engraving in it's handle.
'Property of Dionysus Thyrsos'
"Looks like it's time." He spoke gruffly, as he stood up, eyebrows furrowed as he made his way into the interview room. Walking up to the chair and sitting down as quick as possible, radiating seriousness.
Hercule sat on his chair aswell and faced Bacchus.
"Just like with the other candidates, I want to know your reason for wanting to be a part of the new Neonytian Royal Guard, along with your blood type and the power that comes with it." Hercule explained.
"My reason is simple." Bacchus stated, "The New Royal Guard are going to be fighting against the neonyte's enemies, and doing their best to ensure peace throughout the multiverse. This includes co-operating with the other universes and their respective governments against any forces that are relevant enough to need disposing of.
I want to ensure our prosperity in the future, and.. I've got some unfinished business I need to deal with, joining the Royal Guard will allow me to accomplish both of my goals at once. Since I know for a fact that sooner or later, a old friend of mine is going to find his way onto the most wanted list."
With that, he placed his scythe on the table. Positioned so Hercule could read the enscription on it. "Do you know who this scythe used to belong to?"
Hercule took a good look at the scythe and spotted the name engraved on the handle.
"...Dionysus Thyrsos...that's one of the guys who joined Perses's group of renegades, isn't he?" Hercule asked.
"You were friends with that guy?" Dietz asked, leaning in his chair as he turned his head to Bacchus.
"Bacchus Thyrsos, Dionysus' younger brother." Bacchus said. "Even before he joined Perses's group, he was a terrorist supporter hoping for a world of anarchy and chaos. I didn't know it at the time, and only realized once he fell in with that lot and abandoned everything he had been working towards, in hindsight, it should have all been obvious.
Since we were raised in the same house, I possess more understanding of him and the way his mind works than anyone else in the multiverse. I can't forgive him for any of the atrocities he's committed, I refuse to."
Hercules frowned slightly as he folded his arms and stared at Bacchus.
"So, you want to join the Royal Guard to settle the score with him. From what we gathered when the Cromwell's were still around, that group was in 7 but they're setting their sights to Universe 6 for some reason. That group is big and you'll need to deal with the rest of them before you can reach your brother. Of course, that depends on passing the exam, I understand your reason but I'll need more than that before you can join the outfit. That said, what is your blood type and the power that came with it?" Hercule asked.
"Of course." Bacchus said, as he stood up. "The official category is 'Dry Orange', Power over Nothing." He explained, holding his arms out in a t-pose. For a brief second, he glowed a bright, greyish-orange colour and split into two. One Bacchus stumbled forwards while the second took a single step back. Both of which completely identical in terms of physical appearance.
"My power... isn't clones." The Bacchus at the back spoke, as the Bacchus in front suddenly bent over- it's physical form bending over, keeling in what looked like pain as it's form shifted, melted together like differently coloured paints and turned into a large panther. "I can create tangible illusions, of any form."
The Panther then faded into what looked like swirling clouds. "My ability's primary strengths lie in confusing and catching the enemy off guard, the creation of traps, and tricking the enemy with false information. It has no offensive capabilities, but it's got enough use in other fields that I don't believe it'll be a problem. A Unprepared enemy won't know what to attack, when I'm on the battlefield."
"Hm, seems pretty effective in theory. Then this challenge should be a simple one for you, you will engage in a simulation in that chamber next door. For this task, you will need to protect a base of operations from 40 enemies who are split in 4 waves of 10, each coming from North, South, East and West, you can't let them infiltrate in the base and destroy it. Your enemies will be robots who will have the appearances of the pirates, once you defeat all the enemies, you will be accepted in the Royal Guard." Hercule said.
"1 vs 40?" Bacchus asked, taking the Scythe from the table.
"Well, if we will face the pirates at some point, we can expect to encounter a lot of them in our way so this will help keep you on your toes when the real thing will happen, to expect the unexpectable. I could throw in some backup support with 3 robots as your Neonytian teammates who will mostly keep other sides at bay while you get deal with one wave at a time." Hercule added.
Bacchus nodded, his expression unchanging as he gripped the scythe and turned around, walking straight into the simulation.
Already, colours resembling ink thrown into clear water were swirling around him.
Dietz began typing on his laptop, setting up the simulation.
Just like with Diana, the entire room changed and Bacchus was on a completely different planet, standing in front of a large metallic building with three other Neonytes standing around the building, looking exactly like the ones who were in the last simulation. The area looked like a desert and from the distance, the enemy waves could be seen charging towards the place from each cardinal point, the wave from the west was heading to where Bacchus was standing.
With a flick of his wrist, Bacchus switched which hand he held the scythe in and flared his right hand outwards- the swirling colours faded; shifted and duplicated- twirling out of sight as a large greyish-orange glow covered everyone's vision.
When it faded; there were 40 standing around the building in total. 10 Bacchus's, and 10 of each of the different neonytes. They prepared their weapons; pointing at all of the enemy lines. Some of them ran forwards, while most stayed behind to keep the building flanked.
Three Bacchus's ran for the wave approaching from the west- one jumped on the back of the Bacchus at the front of the trio and lept into the air- swinging the scythe in front of him as it's curved blade glowed; sending out a beam of light that blasted the frontlines of the opponents at the west.
Three of the enemies were sent flying in the air from Bacchus's blast while the rest managed to avoid getting hit as they charged towards the two Bacchus and one of them who was holding a bazooka shot at the Bacchus who leaped in the air.
Meanwhile, 26 remained to protect the base while the rest fought off the invaders, clashing with their weapons.
3 pirates from the East and 4 from the North dodged the protectors and headed towards the building instead, shooting lasers and rockets at the Neonytes guarding the building, 5 of the protectors got hit by the attacks.
The Bacchus that was in the air was completely decimated by the bazooka blast; dispersing into the air like ink thrown into the ocean before fading to nothing as the two other Bacchus parried at the enemies with their scythes; slashing sideways and sending them flying backwards. The two Bacchus stepped forwards simultaneously; swinging the scythes behind the opponents and pulling towards them; stabbing the enemies through the back.
Meanwhile, One Bacchus that was standing still looked over to the protectors that got hit by the attacks, following the line of fire to the pirates firing their lasers and rockets. He adjusted his posture and crossed his scythe with another's- both of them glowing as they fired a pair of beams out at the oncoming opponents- big enough to be impossible for anyone in the centre of the blast radius to avoid.
As the beam finished; those two Bacchus' charged forwards- swinging their scythes around to dispose of any remainders who survived the initial combined blast.
The enemies from the West got finished off completely by the two Bacchus.
The 7 who charged towards the building got caught in the blast and the ones who survived it were 2 invaders who then got slashed in half by the two Bacchus'
The protectors were dealing with the remaining pirates from the North and East while the South was putting a lot more effort into their resistance as they avoided the hits and stabbed some of the protectors while 5 of them seemed to have vanished from that wave.
However, footprints could be seen making their way to the building, some of the Bacchus's and the Neonytian protectors got stabbed by the invisible enemies before making their way towards the building itself.
The two Bacchus who had finished off the west, and the two who had launched the combination beam both changed course; firing blasts at the north and the east from both sides as they advanced on them from the left and right respectively. While a single Bacchus; and the majority of the others fought the remaining ones from the front.
the 3 Bacchus's that got stabbed all fell to their knees- dispersing in the same way all the others had, the last Bacchus left, turned to look at the ones that got stabbed; as they vanished- one of which remaining to fall on the ground; deceased. Identifying that one as one of the actual robots and not one of Bacchus' illusions.
He scowled as he adjusted his hold on the scythe, trying to identify where the enemies who did said stabbing were.
The invisible five were currently split up, two were heading to the building while two were beginning to stab the remaining protectors who were around the building.
And the fifth was now going right behind the real Bacchus with the blade aimed to the sky, about to bring it down on his head.
At that moment, He turned around; whirling his scythe so that it decapitated the pirate behind him.
With one down; the scythe began glowing- it fired another beam in the direction of the recently stabbed protectors; intending to take out the two stabbing at them. While letting his weapon fire it's attack, he concentrated his power- colours swirling behind him that turned into a large humanoid- running into the building after remaining two.
The second protector who wasn't a illusion got stabbed and fell before the two pirates were hit by the beam and flew backwards.
The ones heading to the building turned right to the humanoid and one pirate pulled out a massive laser machine gun and the other pulled out a similar weapon, they fired two huge beams that struck the large humanoid in the chest.
The Humanoid continued forwards- despite the two beams that hit it in the chest; it swung it's arms at the two of them, knocking their weapons out of the hands before grabbing them by their heads. Slamming them against the walls.
Meanwhile, Bacchus managed to identify the two pirates when they crashed on the ground, and darted straight for them. Dragging his scythe along the ground as it pelted them with blasts of light. He Swung upwards; dragging it along one of them while also flinging them into the air; before bringing his scythe down on the second. Stabbing it right through them.
The four pirates were vanquished by Bacchus and the Humanoid.
The only pirates left were the last five from the South who were currently on the defensive and blocking the attacks from the protectors and the Bacchus who was with them.
Bacchus titled his head towards the entrance. The Humanoid swirled into no particular form as it floated over to the entrance- changing colour to blend perfectly into the buildings walls as it shifted into form. Becoming the wall itself, there was no identifiable entrance from this side of the building.
With that dealt with, he dragged his scythe along the ground as he ran for the south. Colours swirled in front of him and became a ramp that he used to launch himself into the air-
airborne, he held the scythe above him as it began to charge up for another beam, letting the momentum carry him over to the frey, he began to fall down- and he swung his scythe down, releasing the buildup.
The Falling Scythe released another big blast of light, knocking the last five pirates off their feet- then the scythe itself fell down; impaling itself through one of their heads. A incredibly young looking pirate wearing a black, ankle-length coat and several bejewled necklaces with long thick dreadlocks, with teal blood dripping from her facial piercings staggered in place- her legs struggling to support her with her brain impaled. Bacchus jumped down; landing on her head and pulling the scythe out of it. Jumping off of the body as it collapsed to the ground.
He looked straight ahead- at one of the pirates that were knocked back by the blast, wearing no shirt, with pale skin, a red coat with patterns like shattered glass worn over his shoulders, each segment a slightly different shade- turning orange or blue or black-, with long blue hair that slowly turned red. A Perfect simulation of Dionysus.
'..It's not the real thing.' He thought to himself, as he let the rest of the protectors deal with any other survivors and went straight for the simulated Dionysus- he swung the scythe downwards only for him to pull himself out of the way- jumping to his feet and pulling out his own pair of swords. Dionysus lunged forwards- too unemotional to be the real thing, both of his small swords clashed against Bacchus's scythe as he held it out to block the blow- Bacchus kicked the Dionysus simulation in the knees, swinging the scythe to the left; catching both of Dionysus' swords in the curved blade and flinging them away- he brought the Scythe back in the opposite direction- slicing it across the simulation's collarbone.
Pink splattered at the ground nearby as Bacchus sliced again- cutting deeper. The simulation stumbled backwards before collapsing on the dirt.
'...It'll be harder. Finishing him off for real.' Bacchus thought to himself, as he turned around to see if any still remained.
All the invading pirates were annihilated.
The building was safe and there was only one real Neonytian protector who wasn't killed while the illusions of the protectors faded away.
Everything around Bacchus changed back into the simulation room, surrounded by pieces of smashed robots with oil leaking all over the floor. The room's door opened.
Bacchus released the breath he didn't know he was holding, his shoulders heaving as he looked at the oil staining the scythe.
"..Sorry, I made a bit of a mess." He said, plainly.
Hercule walked in.
"No need to worry about it, what matters is that you passed the exam, it was a close call but you did good. Of course, the real pirates will likely be a lot more harder to take down than robots wearing their faces." Hercule said.
"Of course." Bacchus said, nodding his head as he walked closer to Hercule.
When he was side by side with him, he looked over his shoulder. "Fair warning, My brother's got a different blood type than me, but his ability has very similar effects. The day we meet him on the battlefield, we'll all have to be very vigilant."
Hercule nodded.
"I'm sure we'll be ready when we'll face them...oh, and Bacchus, I understand you and your brother have to settle this but...try not to throw your life away in the process just to bring him down. And welcome to the Royal Guard." Hercule finished.
Bacchus didn't smile, but he nodded a second time. "Thank you. I won't let you down."
Hercule nodded once more as he turned to Bacchus.
"Before you go, we'll need your transceiver's number so we can contact you when the time comes to start our first mission." Hercule said.
"Sure, here." Bacchus said, reaching into his pocket and pulling his transceiver out- handing it to Hercule.
Hercule took the transceiver and added Bacchus's number to his own device before giving it back to him.
"Thanks. You're free to go now, we'll see each other later." Hercule said.
Bacchus nodded, taking the transceiver back without a word as he left the room.
...
Meanwhile.
Dionysus stood in a multi-person bedroom, decorated with all kinds of mixmatched goods, with several articles of clothing left on the floor. Only the top of the golden buttons of his coat were connected, keeping it secured around his shoulders.
He leaned against the mirrored cabinet door, looking at his own eyes as though they were the most interesting thing he'd ever seen.
Then as though they were the most boring things he'd ever seen,
then as though they were the most aggravating things he'd ever seen, he slammed the door open fast enough to crack the glass- revealing the many bottles of wine inside it; snatching the nearest, fullest one out and popping the cap off of it. "God Fucking Damnit! How LONG IS THIS GOING TO TAKE!?" he asked, before shoving the bottle into his mouth. "How long can it possibly take to jump from 7 to 6!? That's only one number! I'm going insane from boredom here!!"
"Keep it down! I'm trying to read!" Came the voice of the newest member from the floor above them.
"Toss it!" Dionysus yelled back up at her, before flopping onto a bed- whether it was his or not was irrelevant, letting the wine slowly pour out of the bottle. "Ugh.. It's fine, it's all fine.
Things'll definitely get way more interestin' when we get to see that universe, when we get to see those wishes, when we get to see what that omnipotent's capable of, when I get to see what everyone there can do...
..when I get to see you again." He spoke, as though someone was listening.
....
And Galaxies away, unable to hear him, His brother walked out of the New Royal Guard's headquarters, as determined as ever.
END OF VIDEO
-----------
"....Yeah, I have no flipping idea how that segment with Dionysus appeared in the video." Dietz shrugged
"Yet another blood feud between brothers, it seems." Grace sighed.
"It's a welcome change from the tragic sisters duo, where one sister dies and the other suffers before being brought back to life by a magic McGuffin, that happened like four times by now if I'm not mistaken." George said.

"Oh no, a concept similar to one that's been explored before!" Dionysus exclaimed, frightfully enough to be mistaken for anything other than sarcastic at first glance. "Quick, manufacture something that's never been done ever before someone makes the comparisons!"
"In all fairness, Brothers do always go at each others throats all the time." Samantha grinned. "Too much exposure; it's why most siblings can't stand each other when they're growing up."
"..That's a bit of a generalization, isn't it?" Micah asked, "I can't deny that, we're like that, but that doesn't mean all brothers are."
Meanwhile, Lara was counting on her fingers. "...Me and Vera, the Summers Sisters,..Veradis and Rita might count, I guess.. that's three."
Diana leaned over to Bacchus, gesturing at Dionysus. "He seems a bit.. unstable."
"One way of putting it." Bacchus would've snorted if he had a nose.

"There was also Minami and Kita, with her getting killed by F which caused Kita to go on a killing spree before Slyfer snapped her out of it and Virgil brought her back." George said.
"...So, Pirates, since apparently you guys had been awhile for some time according to the Morgue story...do you guys just go around pillaging places and killing people for fun day in and day out? Do you guys have a end goal in all of this stuff that you do?" Donald asked the Pirate trio.

"It's not for fun." Perses corrected Donald, the quickest he's ever said anything.
"Not for him anyway." Dionysus added.

"Well, next is Theseus." Dietz said.
And so the next video started.
---------
"So, the next number is 27, we have...Theseus? The one who survived the Aquilla XX incident? It can't be him." Hercule said, looking puzzled as he looked at the list.
"It could be a different Theseus, I know of some Neonytes who share the same names." Dietz suggested.
"Maybe, guess we'll find out. Call him in." Hercule said.
Dietz activated the speaker.
"Candidate 27, Theseus, come in." Dietz said.
"...Looks like it's your turn now." A Neonyte somewhere in her early 20s spoke, the one that was still seated next to the cyborg near the exit. Her chesnut brown hair barrelled all the way down to her knees, with the exception of her cut fringe- with a yellow hairpiece dangling from it, she wore a sleeveless black shirt and a black ankle-length slit skirt with plimsols. A Silver necklace with 3 gems (one red, one purple, and one blue) worn around her neck, and a flowy, shoulderless purple coat worn over the rest of the ensemble.
The cyborg next to her nodded. "I imagine they'll be quite amazed." He commented, even his voice robotic. The entire left half of his face had been replaced by robotics, with his right eye-squarer than his original, with a red iris, being very much the same. His mint green hair was pulled back, and his coat was so bulky that it covered the top half of his face, as well as the rest of his general body shape, all the way down to his knees, like a yellow brick. "...My place, given my reputation, is all but confirmed. I'll be sure to put in a good word for you too, dear."
"..Yeah, thanks dad." The 20-year old nodded, clutching at her necklace as he stood up.
"You'll do great." The Cyborg said, as he walked all the down the hall, everyone who remained staring at him as he closed the door behind him.
...
"Greetings." He said, as he entered the interview room.
Hercule and Dietz looked up at him and to say that the two of them looked shocked would be a understatement.
"Holy shit." Dietz said.
"...O-Oh, it was you. Wow...I can't believe that you of all people would actually want to join this crew...it's...it's a great honor for you, I mean for us to see you, ha...before the old Royal Guard, you are one of the Neonytes I look up to every time I think about becoming a hero, sir." Hercule said with a nervous laughter.
"...I thought Drake was your idol." Dietz pointed out.
"Hey, everyone can have multiple heroes, okay." Hercule said, side-eyeing Dietz.
He then turned back to Theseus and cleared his throat.
"So, with that said, sir...why do you want to apply for the Royal Guard? Shouldn't you be in the hospital after...that incident?" Hercule asked.
"I couldn't just lie in bed all day, especially when I'm still breathing." Theseus explained. "As it happened, my daughter told me that the royal guard were seeking new members shortly after I had made my recovery. I couldn't think of any better place for me to be if I were to keep protecting my people."
He walked up to the seat and sat down sideways on it. "I was out of commission at the time that the original royal guard was being set up, barely even conscious. As much as it shames me to admit, perhaps if I had been in stable condition at the time, I would've been able to do something about the Cromwell's Plan."
"Well, at the very least, those bastards are dead now, they got what was coming to them for a long time, especially after what that fuckhead did to Tapio and tried to kill everyone with that pink vortex of his." Dietz spat with spite in his voice.
"...It will be tough trying to reform the image of the Guard after all that has happened, I can't exactly blame any people from those Universes still being pissed at us for taking their crests. If you manage to pass the exam, and I'm sure you will, having someone like you on our team will bring a lot of confidence in everyone involved in this team." Hercule said.
"I'm sure it will." Theseus nodded. "A Test would be good for me as well, I've done the fitness tests at the hospital, but a military-grade simulation would prove more useful, to see if I am as good as I used to be."
"Sure, of course. I don't need to ask you about your blood type so a test that would probably be worthy of your strength is obstacle course to a citadel from Universe 3's Earth that has some wish sceptre that was destroyed a long time ago. Dietz will throw in various Omnipotent's from those Tournaments, their powers are generated from the data we gathered from the competitions, they will be obstacles standing in your way, once you retrieve the sceptre, you need to head back to the starting line to end the mission." Hercule explained.
"Ah, sounds feasible." Theseus said. "But before that, if you don't mind my asking. What reasons did you two have, when you joined the initial organisation?"
Hercule and Dietz looked at each other, taken back by Theseus’s question.
“...Well, when I was a kid, I looked up to all kinds of heroic Neonytes, you, Drake and others...I wanted to be like them, a hero, a inspiration for our people, someone they can count on. When the Royal Guard was recruiting people, I figured I could give it a shot...then I betrayed them and I don’t even know if I’ll live up to that dream anymore.” Hercule lamented.
“I had to make use of my intelligence and skills at building high-tech stuff and make my family proud of me, my dad works for the Services and that whole stolen Antaxite fuckery caused by Omesata and Eldirass’s collaboration damaged his rep, I couldn’t watch him beat himself over that mess, you know?” Dietz asked, staring at the floor instead of looking Theseus in the eyes.
"You're both very admirable." Theseus commented, "Wanting to do the right thing is a admirable trait on it's own."
He specifically angled his head so he was looking at Hercule. "You already are living up to that dream, and you.." He then looked to Dietz. "..I'm sure your father is proud of you, and everything you've done.
..I, too, am a father. My own daughter applied for a spot in the new royal guard shortly after she learned I did. Her name is Erinye."
"Huh. She is the last candidate on the list, actually." Hercule said.
"Why did she applied? Is she worried that you might get hurt?" Dietz asked.
"I don't think it's because of that, but she wouldn't tell me. You'll have to ask her yourself.
She's a good girl, really. Always wanting the best for those around her, at times she forgets she needs to look after herself as well."
"I understand. As long as we work as a team, I'm sure we won't have to worry about her getting herself hurt." Hercule said.
Dietz turned to his laptop and started typing the codes of the Citadel and the Omnis who participated in the Tournaments.
"I've set up the simulation exercise. Whenever you feel like you are ready, you can step in the chamber to start and do some damage." Dietz said as the chamber door opened.
"Oh, you shouldn't be worried about her. Her strengths lie outside of the battlefield. I imagine you'll be impressed when you see her power for yourself."
With that last bit of fatherly bragging out of the way, he stood up, "Let's see if I've still got what it takes." Dietz and Hercule could both practically hear the grin, even if they couldn't see it. It felt like the ground was shaking already.
He walked through the chamber door. "You may begin."
Dietz pressed the enter button.
The scenario changed and Theseus found himself at the base of a large mountain with a tower sitting on top of that mountain.
The digital versions of the Omnipotents who participated in the Tournaments appeared on the mountain, one of them was Garflec who stomped the mountain with her foot and the mountain began shaking as massive rocks began falling down and were about to crush Theseus upon landing.
Next to her was Putgerr, and a little bit behind them stood Ceygas- the latter of which already crackling with electricity.
Theseus ran to the side; dodging the massive rocks with ease, he spread his leg across the dirt as the ground underneath the earth and sound omnipotents opened up- causing the three to fall into the newly made hole. Before they could get up, he slid his leg back into place and the ground closed itself up, squashing the duo inside it.
A Blast of lightning shot down from the clouds above; barely missing Theseus as he barrelled out of the way again, the ground underneath him shot upwards- catapulting him into the air, Ceygas jumped back as the ground beneath her gave way- holding her arms out as lightning shot out of her hands like lasers- two of them struck Theseus, who retaliated by throwing his arms in the air- the ground that had caved in, in front of Ceygas shot forwards like a upside-down mudslide- slamming her into the mountainous wall behind her. Theseus landed on the ground and stared intently at the mud, which smoothed over and solidified against the mountain wall. Trapping and suffocating the Lightning Omnipotent. He ran past her, running up the mountain, still glowing with residue of Ceygas' lightning attacks.
Cirak and Mibyll were standing next to each other as Mibyll placed his hand on the mountain, starting to slowly transform the rocky path Theseus was running on into steel to give him the slip and prevent him from taking control of the earth.
Gurok was floating above the two and clapped his hands, sending a powerful gust of wind in Theseus's direction to knock him off the mountain.
Dyrre, Etanfe and Mojo were sitting on a different part of the mountain as Etanfe held two crystals in his hands, shooting two golden beams directed at Theseus's head that would likely turn him into a golden statue if he got hit.
Theseus moved his head out of the way of the beams- crossing his arms in front of him to shield himself from Gurok's wind, he balled his hands into fists and the ground beneath Etanfe, Mojo and Dyrre shattered to pieces, as that hadn't turned to metal- leaving the trio to tumble down the mountain.
Not truly defeated, but at least out of the picture for a little while. He flayed his fingers apart- as the shattered ground that had been beneath Etanfe and the others flew into the air- flying straight for Gurok, pelting him with rocks and knocking him out of the air.
All the while, Theseus continued to take big, heavy steps up the now metal pathway.
As Theseus kept walking, the metal plates of the pathway were suddenly being removed forcefully and thrown at Theseus, courtesy of Emylln who was standing beside Lyle and Lujien.
Melnnos, hiding behind a huge rock, aimed a rocket launcher at Theseus, targetting and shot a rocket at him.
Theseus, not expecting it, was hit by the first metal plate, but quickly found his rhythm and began to dodge them; smacking them out of the way as he continued his advancement. Only to get knocked back by Melnnos's rocket.
Before he had the chance to hit the ground again, Lyle sent out a giant ball of plasma- shocking Theseus greatly. Lyle swung down-wards and the plasma ball, with Theseus in it, smacked itself into the ground. The Ball was shattered by it's own force as Theseus bounced limply on the ground, twitching.
"..Impressive."He spoke, turning his head in the direction of the omnipotents. "Now, let's see what else I can do." His red eyes glowing as he shot up to his feet- as though propelled by rockets himself, he charged straight through the pathway; making a beeline straight for Mibyll; grabbing him by his shirt as the palm of his hand began to glow.
A Laser fired from his palm; shooting Mibyll point black and going all the way through him, blasting through Cirak as well. With the same movement he sent the huge rock Melnnos had been hiding behind flying straight into him- knocking him off the mountain. He held his other hand out, pointing it at Emylln, Lyle and Lujien. The hand opened up, revealing a robotic cannon inside of it, and it fired out a similar laser to the other hand.
Lyle got in front of Emylln and Lujien and focused, his body surrounding itself in a aura as the plasma within the laser blast began to freeze- being sent flying back at Theseus, who dodged out of the way in time; careening the rock he had already smashed into Melnnos and crashing it straight against Lyle's head. The Plasma Omnipotent flopped to the ground as Theseus sent another beam at Lujien and Emylln, with Lyle out of the picture this time.
Lujien crouched down before she made a big leap into the air and Emylln got caught in the beam, sending him flying off the mountain.
Eventually, the Omnipotent of Strength descended down and smacked her fists against the mountain, the mountain part she hit shattered into big chunks of rock that she began to deliver a series of punches and kicks, sending them towards Theseus as he got hit in the chest by one of the incoming rock chunks.
Theseus punched the rock chunks that got too close, and then threw his arms upwards- the rest of the big rock chunks went in reverse; slamming into Lujien's stomach and sending her into the sky. Other parts of the mountain broke off and smacked into her from the side- flinging her out of sight.
And then, suddenly becoming visible; Ponek lunged forwards- her fist connecting with Theseus's eye and rocketing him back a good deal. Rocket's flew from no determinable location- more than Melnnos had sent out; but smaller- and hit the ground at Theseus's legs, forcing him to back up as the metal ground beneath him was quickly covered in ice. Lasers shot from his feet- propelling him into the air before the ice could catch him, as Ponek ran along it. The other two omnipotent's attacking him still completely undetectable- groups of rockets and large icicles flying at him from all over as Ponek jumped into the air; pink haze flying from her eyes. Theseus fired a beam at the willpower omnipotent point-blank, sending her crashing back down into the ice with a overwhelming thud.
The Cloud of ice-dust and sparks that flew in the wake of the collision caused Aika to appear- and shortly after her, Noel. The Presence Omnipotent standing on a ledge and Noel standing not too far from the downed Ponek. Aika readied her missile-firing umbrella and released another load of missiles as Theseus dodged out of the way, with a move of his arms the ledge Aika stood on gave way, leaving her to fall; crashing not too far from where Noel stood as he sent Icicle-projectiles at the Neonyte.
At that moment, Kelou and Iknaa jumped off the top of the mountain.
As they were falling down, Kelou strummed his guitar, releasing electricity energy in the air that wrapped around Noel's projectiles to add damage.
With a long exhale, Iknaa began to set the mountain ablaze with blue flames to prevent Theseus from using the mountain without getting himself burned.
A spinning large Diamond with Kacaj inside it smacked into Theseus and rolled around the mountain before it came back like a boomerang and hit Theseus again by smacking itself against his back.
Theseus rolled to the side as the Diamond came around for another go, crouching as he looked up at the mountain. Raising his lone eyebrow at it.
He focused on it; as pieces of the mountain broke off- now on fire; and rained down on Kelou, Iknaa, Noel and Aika.
The Fire melted the ice, and set that four alight, Aika stood up and readied her missile firing umbrella- only for a fire-covered fragment of the mountain to fall straight onto it. Igniting the missiles inside of the umbrella, and taking it all out in a massive explosion. One that completely atomized Aika, and sent the rest- Theseus included- flying.
The Diamond came around for another spin, Theseus angled himself so he'd land on the diamond; pointing all four of his limbs down-wards as he fired lasers from each of them. The Four Lasers struck the diamond simultaneously; sending Theseus flying even further into the sky-
A Large eagle, with Lionel, Amij and Laerz riding on it flew straight into him; catching Theseus in it's massive beak as it circled around the mountain. The Citadel was so close...
Theseus halted; knowing that killing the eagle- which must have been Lekulia-, would only cause him to fall all the way back down. The Eagle bit down into him, and he grabbed onto it's beak- shattering the upper beak with a well placed, upwards-pointing laser. Flapping her wings around in pain, Lekulia ducked and dived; Lionel and Laerz held tight onto her as Theseus crawled out of her beak; using his shoe-lasers again to give him additional momentum as he jumped off the bird and towards the citadel.
As soon as he was reaching the Citadel, a explosion occured in mid-air, sending Theseus flying down.
Gafust and Okail were standing at the edge of the top with Gafust's opened hand aimed at Theseus as he caused that explosion with the sisters of Good and Evil standing close to each other on top of the Citadel, Yang and Yin, back to back.
Amij jumped off the Lekulia Eagle and flew away from the mountain as he looked at Theseus and used his power to speed up Theseus's flight back to the baseline, setting him up for a painful fall.
Theseus pointed one hand below him, and one hand above him. He fired a laser above him- aiming straight for Amij; as the Lekulia Eagle drove down after him. Balls of heat flying from Laerz's free hand as the eagle kept it's pace with his descent.
He turned to look at the mountain he was falling down; stopped firing the laser and pulled- a large chunk of the mountain slid out of it like a jenga block right underneath him. Theseus smashed into it rather roughly, but the chunk stayed stable and he stopped falling.
Lekulia- unable to stop her descent in time, crashed right into the protruding chunk; Lionel jumped off of her just in time but Laerz wasn't as lucky, the chunk shattered in two- the half with Lekulia and Laerz on it falling into the woods below, while the half with Theseus and Lionel on it remained intact. The Omnipotent of Sense brought his sword out- dodging as Theseus sent fragments of mountain at him, running straight up to him and swinging his sword. Theseus moved to dodge but Lionel predicted it- and stabbed it right through Theseus's shoulder.
Theseus let out a garbled noise; before placing his palm right on Lionel's face. The simulated Omnipotent let out a small 'gulp', before the laser blasted a hole through his face.
The chunk that Theseus was standing on then blew up into smaller chunks that sent Theseus flying up.
Gafust was charging up two small Destruction balsl that would likely eradicate any of Theseus's limbs before he launched them at the Neonyte as he was now flying right towards them.
In case Gafust's attack fails, Yang and Yin placed their staffs against each other and shot two black and white beams that combined into a large grey beam that would engulf Theseus if he manages to avoid the Destruction orbs.
Theseus pulled himself into a ball- as all of the chunks from the platform Gafust had just blown up flew in front of him, taking all of the damage from Gafust's Destruction Orbs while he focused himself on avoiding the large grey beam, propelling himself over it.
Okail spread her arms above her; a large rainbow flying straight out of her- barely missing Theseus as he pulled his legs out of the way in time. A Series of shapes flew out of the centre of the rainbow, initially missing him, but turning around and chasing after him with increasing speed as he got closer to the citadel. Okail sent two lego chariots out of the void; both of which trailed by long, curving rainbows. They met square in front of Theseus; who blew them up with a laser- but was unable to avoid the curving rainbows as they intersected right in front of him. Slicing at his coat and sending him spinning straight towards them.
Yang and Yin focused and the grey beam changed direction, heading towards Theseus again at a speedy rate.
Gafust aimed his hands, glowing with purple energy before unleashing a beam of destruction at Theseus. He had one large beam of Good and Evil coming towards him from the back and a Destruction beam heading towards him from the front, they were about to collide soon.
With no other options; he used his lasers to propel himself down-wards at a faster velocity; the 3 beams narrowly sailing over his head before they combined.
He landed feet-first on the ground not too far from the citadel, looking up at the short distance he needed to travel as Okail kept her hands held out- a brightly coloured, cutesy bear flying out of nothing and landing right in front of the entrance to the citadel. Okail threw several other large, cuddly-looking critters in Theseus's way. Effectively blocking the standard entrance.
The combined beams dispersed as Gafust, Yang and Yin turned to see Theseus and unleashed a barrage of attacks at him.
Gafust launched multiple orbs of Destruction while Yin and Yang shot beams of Good and Light at him at the same time.
Meanwhile, Okail threw in all kinds of things- from large lego blocks to a couple more large cuddly critters.
With heaven & hell both raining down on him, Theseus jumped into the nearby foliage- the ground turning to mud beneath him as he ducked beneath it. Vanishing completely as the barrage decimated everything above ground it could touch,.
Now underground, Theseus tunnelled his way towards the citadel. Poking his head out once he got close enough. A Large chunk of the ground smacked straight into the building; knocking a hole through it, which Theseus pulled himself through before any of the omnis above could notice and direct their attacks at him.
Now inside the citadel, all he had to do was ascend the stairs- grab the Sceptre, and make his leave.
Gafust, Yin and Yang weren't aware that Theseus was in the building as they now looked around for where he could potentially be.
As Theseus was getting closer to the Sceptre, he could see the three Omnis from 12: Nycali, Toma and Milana who happened to be guarding the Sceptre as they were standing around it.
Theseus stopped walking, angling himself just right as he focused; holding his hand out- he fired another beam from it, one that struck just at the bottom of the Sceptre, knocking it from it's pedestal- and sending it careening down the stairs.
He adjusted his posture, 'These stairs look ancient enough.. if they were made from stone, then I should still be able to... He thought to himself, knowing that the omnis from 12 were about to react. He pulled his arms backwards- and the stair the sceptre had just rolled off shoved itself forwards like a sliding block- sending the sceptre rocketing faster to Theseus. He caught it, and then hopped straight off the staircase- already making his exit. He darted through the hole he walked in through and went straight back underground.
The Omni trio of 12 quickly jumped off the stairs and landed on their feet before they dived into the hole and chased after Theseus, trying to reclaim the Sceptre.
Nycali was a lot more faster than Toma and Milana as he was reaching Theseus and jumped in front of him and started slashing at him with his claws, trying to pierce right through his robotic implants.
He was successful with the slashing; but got a laser to the face for his efforts. The hole sealed itself up behind Theseus- as the dirt underneath him gave way, letting him fall through the mountain.
It's one method of getting down.
Nycali got knocked on the ground with smoke coming out of his face while Toma and Milana jumped in after Theseus.
Milana grabbed hold of Toma and started rotating before throwing him right at Theseus much faster as he was descending from above him. The Omnipotent of Hate placed his hands together and shot a laser beam of hate directed at Theseus's head.
Milana ended crashing into the walls as a result.
Theseus eventually landed down, now all he needed to do was exit out of the mountain with the Sceptre to finish his task.
Theseus concentrated, his eyes struggling to adjust to the lack of light in his surroundings, he held his hand up and the laser mechanism inside it began to glow, lighting up the general area as he pushed himself through the mountain- the earth parting around him, opening up a Theseus-sized gap in the mountain for him to walk through.
Calmly, orderly, he made his way out.
...
"Well, I'll be damned. Guess being half cyborg din't make him less impressive, in fact it made him more of a badass." Dietz grinned.
"Yeah, you got that right. But I imagine things would of been a lot more different if we fought the original Omnis instead." Hercule pointed out.
"Even so, we definitely need someone like him on our team, it will give us an advantage." Dietz said.
Hercule nodded as he walked to the microphone.
"Okay, we're ending the simulation right now." Hercule announced to Theseus.
The scenario changed again, Theseus was back in the simulation room and the door to the other side of the room where Hercule and Dietz were opened.
"Haha!" Theseus laughed. "They got a couple of good scratches in at the end there, didn't they? That one in the little hat clocked me with a couple of rainbows!"
He seemed to be a bit drunk off the adrenaline.
"Well, yeah, that's why those guys are Omnipotents after all." Dietz said, sweatdropping.
"You certainly lived up to our own expectations, you will make a powerful teammate to have when trouble starts brewing, I'll be glad to fight alongside you. Welcome to the new Royal Guard, chief." Hercule smirked while holding his hand out.
"My name's Theseus, kid." Theseus placed his own hand, still a little bit hot, into Hercule's own. With a completely different demeanour than his previous one. "Enough with that chief crap, we're a team now."
"Right. Since you have a lot more experience than Diana and Bacchus, you will be a secondary-in-command in case anything goes south and I get caught up in something, the chances of that are unlikely but just want to make the best out of a possible bad situation. I'll need your contact number so all of us can be present when the next big thing arrives." Hercule said, letting go off Theseus's hand.
Theseus didn't even move, but Hercule already received a message on his transceiver; presumably one from Theseus.
"These implants come with quite a few benefits." He spoke, with another audible grin.
Hercule checked his transceiver and nodded at Theseus.
"Cool. Well, hopefully Erinye will do well on her part aswell, we still have four candidates to try out before it's her turn." Hercule said.
"Oh trust me, you'll be impressed." Theseus said, as he walked past Hercule, making his way out of the room.
...
"So, did you get the part?" Erinye asked, as Theseus returned back to his seat. She kicked at the brown satchel underneath her seat as he nodded.
"It was quite fun, honestly. The Simulation was really cool." He said such a casual thing with such a serious tone of voice. "I had myself a fight against a handful of Omnipotents. I completely beat them all, of course."
"Of course you did.."Erinye muttered. Catching Theseus's attention, he looked at her eyes, still downcast.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"..It's.. now you're in the royal guard.. You're going after Cupid, right?" She asked.
Theseus paused for a second, placing his hand where his chin would be as he pondered it. "If we happen to find him, then he will be on the list of priorities. But I'm not going to do anything foolish like throw everything aside just to take his head. That Man deserves whatever's coming to him."
"I, understand." Erinye nodded, speaking quietly. "You,.. You should finish him off. If you do happen to see him again. What he did to you, to so many other people. You must hate him. Everyone must." She spoke,
"How could I not?" Theseus asked, "You said it yourself, everyone will be able to feel a little better when he's out of the picture."
"..Yeah." Erinye nodded again, even quieter, almost frowning as she gripped her necklace. "...You're so selfless, dad. So selfless.. that you lost most of your body, and you're still thinking about everyone else, instead of how you're feeling about all of this."
"What?"
"..Oh, it's fine." Erinye said, placing her hand on the empty seat next to her. "..Can you, stay here, til my interview is up?"
"Sure, if that's what my darling daughter wants." Theseus closed both his eyes, clearly grinning.
Blushing, Erinye immediately turned away. "Please, please don't be so loud..."
"What, it's true. You are my favourite daughter. The best daughter in the entire multiverse~" Theseus cleaned a little closer.
"I'm your only daughter!" Was Erinye's flustered response, "Just- ugh, forget it! I can't believe you!" as their interaction attracted the attention of the rest of the waiting neonytes.
'I can't believe you... Acting like everything's just fine.. Like you're just fine...'

"Nice foreshadowing there, chap. Would you like a cosy red coat or a mauve one to go nicely with your unlikely chances of making out of this alive after your friends jinxed it, it will look good on you on your funeral." Abraham offered as he suddenly pulled out those two coats from underneath the table as if he was expecting something like this to happen.
"...The three of us were first blood? Really?" Garflec asked, with a blank stare.
"Atleast he din't beat me, Okail and the twins from 4 cause that would of been straight A bullshit." Gafust shrugged.
"That digital me was lame, he got taken down in a single hit, plus he din't have any of my charm, he was boring, flat and tasteless." Emylln cringed.
"So basically exactly like you in real life." Hikrat stated with crossed arms.
"Ha." Yin smirked.
"And you two are not getting invited on my yacht party during my birthday." Emylln frowned.

"None of these simulations had any personality. They probably couldn't simulate everything without shortcircuiting it all or something." Ceygas guessed.
Tenyard pulled his face out of the computer. "Have you tried simulating 50 brains at once? and then 50 elements at once over that? It'd be a big waste of energy, assuming the system wouldn't short-circuit itself out midway through the simulation."
"I've already got my own yellow coat." Theseus answered.
"..Dad, He was saying you're going to die." Erinye frowned. "Do you not know what a Redshirt is?"
"He offered me a red coat, dear. Not a red shirt." Theseus raised his only brow.
"..you're not funny, dad." Erinye sighed, slowly placing her palm on her face.

"Just one more clip now." Dietz mentioned as he pressed the play button.
--------
"Well, just one more left. Let's hope Theseus was right about her." Hercule said.
"She is Theseus's kid so she probably can do it. Even if she doesn't, we still have the three that we recruited so we're still good to go either way." Dietz said.
"I hope so. Call her in." Hercule said.
The speaker in the hallway turned on.
"Last candidate, Erinye."
"Looks like you're up." Theseus pointed out the obvious, as Erinye stood up- reaching under her chair and pulling out her satchel.
"..Y,Yeah." Erinye nodded. "I'll.. see you when I'm done."
"You'll do great." Theseus said, as Erinye turned around and walked down the hallway, holding the satchel in both hands.
...
She walked into the interview room, her flowy coat and long hair waving behind her as she closed the door behind her with her foot. Looking at Hercule and Dietz "..Uh... Hi." She said, having a hard time deciding which of the two to make eye-contact with.
"...Hey." Dietz said, finding this a little awkward to say the least.
"Hi there, Theseus told us a bit about you. Please take a seat." Hercule said, gesturing at the empty chair in front of him.
"Right.." Erinye said, looking down at the satchel she was carrying as she walked up to the seat and, well, took a seat. "So, um, My name is Erinye Oresteia... Theseus, you already know he's my dad. My ability isn't as , well, as physically strong as his, no, but, I've got the dark blue blood type, so that's got to count for something, right?"
"Oh, so you can pull souls out of people?" Hercule guessed.
"Or absorb them in yourself like that pink fruitcake?" Dietz asked.
"Uh, not quite." Erinye said, "But, it's fine. I brought.. I brought one with me for a demonstration."
With that, she reached into her satchel and pulled out a small, very familiar looking crystal.
"...Is that a Antaxite?" Dietz asked, tilting his head to the right.
"Yeah, I'm sorry." Erinye nodded, cautiously. "It's just, the only way I could really show you what I could do..."
"...Okay, go for it." Hercule said, waiting to see what happens.
She placed both of her hands on the crystal, closing her eyes as it began to glow, a bright pink fog surrounding it and trailing up her arms.
When it reached her head- her eyes; completely covered in pink flashed open. A Hazey image of a neonyte male, wearing full body armour with a red cape, floating in mid-air appeared on the table, above the crystal.
"Ulysses Joyce, member of King Zeus the Second's Army." The Hazey image spoke. "Reporting for Duty."
"I can't rip anybody's soul out, but my ability lies on the border between blue and purple. I can summon the spirits of the dead, and reveal every memory, every sight, every feeling that they left behind when they died, they ever experienced while they were alive. No secret is safe." Erinye explained, the pink light glowing from inside her mouth as well as she explained. She tilted her head. "Ulysses, do you mind telling everyone why you're in this crystal."
"I didn't approve of how the King at the time was running the empire, playing his hands to close to his chest, so I had staged a coup with other members of the army who felt similarly. Our Coup was un-successful, as the public themselves loved the king more than we had anticipated, all of our spirits were sealed away in Antaxite as penance for our attempt to take control of the empire for ourselves."
"..And.. what was the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?" Erinye asked.
"Growing up amongst the new recruits, I got stuck in a windmill for a month." The Spirit answered.
With that, the foggy form of Ulysses dispersed, the fog trailing back to Erinye- making it's way back down her arms and into the crystal. The glowing ceased.
"..Well, what do you think?" Erinye asked, looking down at the crystal still. As though pitying it. "It's a bit.. morbid, but so are most powers like mine, and, it'll make interrogations easy, if we need to worry about that."
"...Huh, that's...unique." Dietz said, as he hasn't seen anything like that before.
"...So, to understand, you summon the spirits of the dead and put them inside the Antaxite to reveal their secrets? I mean, do you need to summon them from the place they died to make it happen?" Hercule asked.
"Oh, It doesn't need to be inside the Antaxite... This guy was placed in here, like, aeons ago." Erinye said, "It doesn't really matter where they died. I just need a direct link to the soul itself so I can channel it. The body,.. the body's good too, so I could visit the graveyard where the target was buried, or the morgue if the body's still in there, and use the body to channel the spirit instead.
Most people with my blood type have more offensive powers, but, mine's still pretty good as well."
"Oh, I see...and what would you say about your combat experience?" Hercule asked.
"I've trained in close quarters combat, and with long ranged weapons before, under my dad's guidance, of course. I passed the fighting course at the school I attended among the top of the class. I haven't been in a actual fight before, but I've done lots to prepare myself in the case that I do." Erinye listed them off one by one, in a rehearsed manner.
"Sounds good to me. For this simulation, your test will take place on a alien planet from 4 called Terronda, the inhabitants of that place are the Ardites, a race of blue aliens with advanced psychic abilities and the gravity on their planet is up the roof than on any other planets so you'll do a lot of leaps and jumps thanks to that. Your challenge will be to collect 10 flags placed on some platforms and you will get attacked by drones who will shoot at you and the thing you are standing on, this challenge will be timed so you will have 5 minutes to collect all the flags. If you don't get all the flags in time or fall to the bottom, you will fail the exam. It shouldn't be too hard, right?" Hercule asked.
"It, it might be." Erinye conceded, looking down- and then correcting herself and standing straight up. "But I should still be able to do it."
Hercule nodded.
"When you feel like you are ready, step in the chamber and Dietz will start the simulation scenario." Hercule said.
Erinye steeled her expression, and headed towards the chamber.
As she entered, her arms slid out of the purple coat, it fluttered away, into a heap at the doorway, revealing a standard-issue neonytian gun, transceiver, and blade respectively holstered onto the belt of her skirt.
She grabbed hold of the gun, biting onto her lip slightly.
In a few seconds, the entire room changed and Erinye found herself on a small levitating chunk of stone, along with more chunks levitating around her.
If she looked down, she would see nothing but white clouds that covered the surface, one thing was for certain, it would be a big drop from where she was standing if she fell. And the sky above her was blue as the water itself with shining stars, the atmosphere felt peaceful and tranquil.
Erinye could already see a metallic platform with a flag on it, it wasn't too far away from away, just three floating rocks to get to the platform.
However, the drones started to appear and were mostly flying around in the sky for the most part, they haven't started firing at her just yet.
One drone lowered down and it was behind Erinye, targetting her and opened fire.
Erinye, looking over all of the drones, barely got out of the way in time.
Cautiously, she jumped from her current floating platform to the next- pointing the gun at the drone that just fired at her, and firing in return as she jumped onto the second floating rock. Ducking low in hopes that most shots would go over her head as she kept going- jumping to the third, and then to the metallic platform with the flag on it, wrapping her fingers around it.
Erinye grabbed the flag with success while the drone that was chasing fell into the cloudy abyss.
From the platform she was standing, she could see four more similar metallic platforms with flags, two on each different side floating next to each other, with two rows of levitating rocks to get her to the two sides.
However, each side had a crew of 5 drones surveying the platforms, getting rid of them would be necessary if she din't want to be shut down.
And then, two more drones appeared around the platform Erinye was standing on and shot more lasers at her.
She fired at one of the drones, but got hit by the other one, she retaliated by punching it in the face and then darting to the left side. Jumping onto one of the floating rocks, holding her gun out and firing at the drones on the left side- shooting the first, and then the second before any could react.
The third shot, tragically, missed- as she jumped onto the next rock, getting closer to the flags.
The other two drones reacted to the shot that almost hit the third drone and the three drones started shooting at the rocks Erinye was jumping on instead.
Erinye jumped straight off of the rock, firing 2 shots- taking out 2 of the remaining drones before she grabbed onto the flag, then jumping to the next. Then stepping out of the way of a shot and firing at the last of the drones on this side.
Without any opposition- she grabbed the third of the flags and began to make her way back to the centre.
The left side was finished and the right side was next.
And right next to the center, there were 4 rocks who were levitating right and left in a certain pattern continuously that would lead to a single platform with another flag guarded by 6 drones and with 2 rows of 6 rocks that lead to a left flag platform and a right one, but three rocks were moving downwards and the latter rocks were moving upwards on the left side and the right side it was the reverse. And those platforms were guarded by two squads of 4 drones.
Of course, Erinye would need to worry about that after getting the two other flags from the other side she din't jump to yet.
Erinye waited for her chance, jumping onto the first of the 4 rocks leading to the closest flag. Then, she fired at one of the drones. Then, she jumped- and fired at a drone while waiting for the rocks to align again. She repeated this process until she was at the flag, and there were 2 drones left- finishing them off as she grabbed onto it.
With 3 Flags in her left hand, and her right hand holding the gun, both were occupied. She steadied herself, looking between the left and right sides- the rocks that went up and down. As the rocks to the left went down- she jumped down and landed on them, making her way towards the next flag with a similar method to her previous one. Shooting at drones between each jump from rock to rock.
The method worked and three of the drones got shot, the fourth one was targetting the rock she would jump onto next before she could arrive on the platform.
Erinye, midjump, fired at the drone, shooting it just before she could land. With that, she grabbed the next flag and looked over to the one on the right, guarded by a similar amount of drones.. she pointed her gun at them and..
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
shot them all from where she stood, this way, when she jumped from the rocks as they rose and fell on that side, she wouldn't even have to worry about the drones.
Three of the drones fell from the sky and plunged into the abyss while one drone dropped on the platform where the flag was.
Suffice to say, those drones were done for and the flag was now for the taking.
It didn't take Erinye too long to make her way to that flag, and increase her collection to five. Halfway there.
Technically 6, with the one she acquired from the first platform.
4 flags remained.
From the set of the 4 platforms from the left and right sides, two flags remained on the platforms from the right side guarded by five drones, Erinye would need to get back to the center and then get those flags and deal with the drones.
And right behind the center, there was a single row of floating rocks and at the end of the row, there were two last platforms that were actually moving in a single pattern.
One platform was moving vertically from north to south constantly and the other moved horizontally from west to east. The two platforms would cross path’s while moving. All Erinye needed was perfect timing to pull this off to land on each of these platforms.
Oh, and there were 10 drones circling around the platforms like vultures.
Erinye looked over at the intricate movements of all the rocks and platforms, hesitating.
First off, the two that remained on the right side. She made her way back to the centre, and then started shooting at the drones guarding the right side, gasping for breath as she finished the last drone off; jumping onto the right side and grabbing the next flag- then making her way to the eighth.
She whirled back around on her feet, a full 180 degrees as she made her way back- keeping her eyes on the two constantly moving platforms, and the 10 drones circling around them.
She picked one of them off as she made her way to the centre, shooting two of the other circling drones as she watched the platforms moving around.
The platform that was moving vertically moved to the North and now began moving towards South, close to where Erinye was.
The 8 other drones took notice of their two fallen teammates getting shot down from the sky and set their sights on Erinye and opened fire once more.
Erinye darted out of the way as the platform moving to the south moved straight in front of her; she rolled into it and let it carry her out of the way as she picked off a couple more drones.
Four of the drones got shut and fell in the abyss.
The remaining drones kept shooting as one of them managed to hit her left shoulder and one hit her right knee.
She stumbled in place, almost falling off before firing at the remaining drones. The Platform she was on began to make it's return trip. She grabbed the flag while she could (only one left), as she kept firing at the drones.
Three drones got hit and fell, leaving only one left who dodged Erinye’s shot and floated a bit more closer for a accurate aim as the other platform with the last flag was about to cross paths with the platform she was on.
And according to the timer, she had 59 seconds left to make it.
As the Last Flag approached, and the drone continued to fire- Erinye gave the timer one quick glance before jumping for it. Leaning forward and reaching her hand out as her feet made contact with the last platform; she snatched the final flag up, and then swivelled in place, shooting the final drone.
The final drone got shot and collided with one of the moving platforms as it fell, the timer stopped the moment Erinye grabbed the last flag.
"Congratulations, you did it!" Hercule announced.
The simulation ended and Erinye was back in the chamber, surrounded by broken drones with sparks flying out of them as the simulation room door opened so she can walk out.
Erinye adjusted her grip on her gun, awkwardly shoving it back into it's place on her belt. "Ah, sweet." She said, as she walked over to where her coat had landed- putting it back on and walking out of the chamber.
"..That was good, right?" She asked, pulling her hair out from under her coat.
Hercule walked to Erinye and placed his hand on her shoulder.
"Even without a incredible ability, you did well enough without it, some missions may not need brute strength to win our fights. Theseus wasn't kidding when he said that you would be impressive. Congratulations, you, your dad, Bacchus and Diana along with me and Dietz will be the new Royal Guard, you should be proud with yourself." Hercule smiled.
Erinye smiled, smoothing her hair out behind her. "Oh, Thank you. Thank you very much, sir.
...Uh, Dietz?" She asked, turning to look at him. "Can I ask you something?"
Dietz, who seemed to be thinking about something, turned his head when Erinye caught his attention.
"Huh, oh sure, what is it?" Dietz asked.
"...Do you.. hate Salazar?" Erinye asked.
Dietz frowned upon hearing that question.
"...Yeah, I do. I thought he was a logical leader who made us go through all the trouble of picking fights with the entire Multiverse to get those stupid crests because he wanted a better future for our race only to repay us by killing Tapio after he lost his sister, he kicked me out and then tried to kill every single living being by opening that deadly Vortex only to be stopped by whatever those Vixerello pipsqueaks did in his head. That guy was a psycho, his daddy issues doesn't give him a excuse, everyone has a choice in what they do, If he and his siblings somehow survived Ragnarok's destruction, then I hope in whatever dimension they landed will do them in and never come back...so, yeah, I hate that guy, I wish I could of realized what kind of a monster he was from the start." Dietz sighed.
Erinye nodded along sympathetically, fiddling with her necklace. "Yeah, it's only reasonable that he'd be hated after everything he did. That you'd hate him, it must feel like a betrayal." She spoke softly. "But his old royal guard will be forgotten to time, and that's a good enough revenge to take, is it not? His old vehicle of destruction, made into one of peace?"
"Yeah, I guess that's true...but not everyone is gonna be that forgiving towards us, I doubt beating up some pirates and some guys left from Universe 2's F will make everyone love us or something like that, it's not something everyone will just forget, you know?" Dietz asked, twirling his finger around his hair.
"Well, if we're gonna think negative like that then we won't have any chances of starting something new for us. Everything will turn out well in the end, I'm sure of it." Hercule said, deciding to have a positive outlook.
Erinye spent a couple of seconds looking at the floor. "Do you want everyone to love you?" She asked.
"Uh, I mean, not everyone, but it would be cool not to be remembered as a villain, it be nice to have some people count on us, I would be fine with that...come to think of it, you din't tell us why you want to be with the Royal Guard, is it because of your dad?" Dietz asked.
"..All I really want, is for everyone around me, to in some way, get what they want out of life." Erinye said. "He.."
She looked down at the floor again, "He barely survived, and, I quite a few of my years without him in my life, wondering if he'd ever wake up,or if all of those injuries would kill him... Now he's awake, and as soon as he was able to fight again, he went straight to this..
I'm glad that he's back, but I.. just want to make sure he'll be okay." She explained, avoiding any eye contact.
"...Well, I'm sure he'll be alright, I mean he is tough as nails after all, plus all of us will be there when shit hits the fan so he won't be alone and get all the beatings." Dietz said.
"..Oh, I know that." Erinye said. "But sometimes you need to be there yourself."
Dietz simply nodded in return.
"Well, before you go, please hand us your contact number. Theseus gave us his but we need your's aswell when the Royal Guard will assemble for our first official mission." Hercule said.
"Oh, of course." Erinye said, reaching into her sleeve and pulling out a small card. She turned around and handed it to Hercule. "Here.
May all of us achieve everything we dream of." She spoke, barely above a whisper. "In the other world, those who fell will be watching. The ones who'll cheer us on, and the ones who have earned our ire."
Such a strange tone of voice, but it vanished as she placed her hands together, looking at the two of them somewhat nervously. "But, we'll be fine. We'll do great, even."
"I believe we can do it, we have survived worst things before. I'll count on all of you to make that happen." Hercule nodded confidently.
Erinye smiled again, waving at the two of them. "Thanks, again." She offered, as she shuffled out of the room.
Hercule smiled to himself before he turned to Dietz.
"Well, that wraps it up. Six of us is better than nothing I say, right Dietz?..Dietz?" Hercule asked.
"...Yeah, I guess...I just hope none of us will die at whatever comes next...like with Tapio...Genesis...Pegasus...everyone else..." Dietz said, actually bitting his lip pretty hard as he said those words.
Hercule walked to Dietz and put his hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry, I'll keep all of you safe, I'll be damned if the entire crew dies without me doing anything about it. I swear, history will not repeat itself." Hercule said.
"...I hope you are right about that." Dietz said, still not looking at Hercule.

"...That challenge was easier than the others had." Athena pointed out.
"Well, she isn't a powerhouse so I gave her a test that would suit her combat abilities. Atleast 6 of the candidates failed at this challenge despite how easy it seemed to be." Hercule said.
"Wow, that's sad." Genesis said.
"...Do you hate us so much that you would want us to die?" Calypso asked Dietz.
"Yeah. Saving some mouthless baby monsters, taking down some shit king and his useless army and fighting against some god is his home turf is not gonna make everyone magically forget what you three did. I hope you three idiots die on that graveyard planet." Dietz said his piece.
"...I can't exactly blame him for feeling that way. It's unlikely that the entire Multiverse will find it in their hearts to forgive us even with what might happen on Soulless World." Salazar said, accepting this.
"Hm, those are some big words coming from a little man playing with mechanical toys. It doesn't matter whether you or anyone else will forgive them, it's up to the guilty ones to own up their mistakes, only they have the inner strength to cleanse themselves of the sins of their past. The opinions of the masses are irrelevant, so howl at the moon as long as you want but it will get you nowhere." Kalfu said, deciding to defend the Cromwell's from Dietz's accussations.
"...If we were put on trial for our crimes, you would be the last person in this room we would ask to represent us in a court of law." Hermes said with lowered eyebrows.
