Because it's more of a way to remember the people who died than it is just assigning the child a name. Besides, Christa herself said that having two Christas would be confusing.

Rebecca: "What name do you think it should be, Clementine?" Clem: "I think he should be The Biggest Faggot On Earth!" Rebecca: "That's a great name." that's not what I meant. I meant a option where you leave it up to Rebecca> Rebecca: What name do you think it should be, Clementine? Clem: I'm not sure...You decide Rebecca:Okay...

if Rebecca dies giving birth I'll probably call it Rebecca... Unless it's a guy.

If Clem's going to give a name that memorializes someone dear to her, why not Ed or Diane? We may not have known them that well but they probably made more of an impact on her than anyone else.

That is debatable, either her real parents or Lee, she clearly has not forgot either of them, judging from the comment about her dad.

I guess it depends. If the baby arrives and it's clearly a symbol of hope, I could see those names being possibilities. An uplifting symbol of what the world can hopefully become once more, if you will. If it arrives during a total shitstorm and people are dying left and right and it's the only good thing to come out of a horrible chain of events, I can't see Clementine wanting to reincarnate her parents into this world even in baby name form. She'll probably want to keep the two worlds separate.
