No, Pete was Nick's mother's brother. Randall was her maiden surname. Nick would have his dad's last name If they were married at his birth. True, but I think Pete would've said something like "You're a Randall, you should know how to shoot!" If Nick's last name was actually Randall lol. And apparently Nick's dad dropped by quite a lot when he was little, despite being a piece if shit like Pete said. So Nick might've not realized how bad his dad was when he was little, so he would have no problem having his dad last name. But that's just my theory

Nick's father was a sack of shit, so it's possible that Nick and his mother decided to keep "Randall" instead of the father's last name. Until we hear otherwise, I'm going to think of him as Nick Randall. Not a bad name, IMO.

Pete sounds like a prophet with his new name haha. Nice. Who was the other one?

I just realized, both of Pete's non-family names are prophets in the bible. I wonder if he was religious.

What other biblical references did Pete make?

What other biblical references did Pete make? I could've sworn he said "god help us" at one point, but I may be wrong. But all evidence points towards Pete being a religious man

Well, at least he's in a better place now. He deserves that much, at least.

Well, the prophet was right about rifles knocking Clem on her ass. I wonder if there will be anything else he said that will pop up in any future Episodes- maybe there would be if he survived longer so he had more dialogue.
